Carlee Ann Brown

Carlee Ann Brown is an amazing midwife-​to-​be and massage therapist. She, along with the midwives at Rites of Passage, provided me with prenatal care, attended my birth, and provided me with postpartum care. Her manner during labor was very reassuring, calming, and encouraging. I think women will be lucky to have her as their midwife in the near future.
I also sought Carlee Ann’s service as a massage therapist. She will do home visits for a reasonable price, and will bring everything she needs for the massage (sheets, massage table, oil, music). I saw her twice in the postpartum period. When my baby needed to be fed, Carlee Ann was able to help me latch her, and she continued with the massage. (Like a boss!) When my baby was particularly fussy, Carlee Ann managed to soothe her and continue massaging me at the same time. (No really — LIKE A BOSS) I would recommend having your partner available to soothe your little one, so that both Carlee Ann and you can focus on the massage.
I highly recommend her. I rarely go back to a massage therapist more than once, and I’ve already seen her 3 times.

Carlee Ann is amazing! As a long time professional dancer, I struggle with lots of regular aches and pains. Recently, I developed some chronic degenerative issues that create an intense amount of muscle pain and interfere with my ability to move in the way that I’m used to. I sought out Carlee Ann’s help in a desperate moment, and I couldn’t be more thankful to have found her. Other massage therapists I’d seen in the past were either minimally helpful, or even worsened both my pain and mobility. Carlee Ann was able to determine that my hip pain was a side effect of muscle inflammation in my legs. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and effective in relieving my pain. Most importantly, she helped me to regain the mobility to continue to do what I love! I continue to see her on a weekly basis to keep my body functioning optimally, and I have referred her to many colleagues and friends!
