Wonderful gallery/​gift store. I popped in while waiting to meet a friend. Nice surprise. Besides having an interesting exhibit of paintings, Campfire had some exotic looking air plants in unique wooden vases. They also had a nice selection of fun reasonably priced jewelry and cards.

My wife & I stopped by the gallery on our last visit to the city, what a splendid Gem of a find. Not only is it right off Bart but the cosyness and warm atmosphere made us feel very welcome when we walked in. We liked that they didn’t hover when we looked around and easily made themselves available for our questions. While the Art was unique the prices were reasonable, even a paper bag for our purchase, I’m sure we’ll visit again for more treasures.

I enjoyed the art, but the one guy working in the gallery couldn’t be bothered to chat about the gallery or discuss the art/​artists. I don’t understand this attitude, especially in art galleries — there is so much cool/​creative stuff to talk about! The attitude was such a turnoff, especially given the circumstances: new gallery, at 24th & Mission (not exactly a destination for galleries) and I was the only person in the whole place.
