I love this place! It was so fun and all the workers are awesome and friendly! Their prices are a bit high but they like to give u deals if u buy multiples– basically they got me good cuz I’m so indecisive and there’s a billion choices to customize ur own shirts– I couldn’t decide so I just kept buying more — I ended up buying 5 tanks, 1 hoodie, and got a free t shirt. 2 tanks weren’t for me though so I wasn’t that crazy! I just kept chanting t-shirt store, t-shirt store– u know like jersey shore! They were very patient as we spent close to an hour and a half at this store making All our decisions. I will def be back– I love San Francisco and San Francisco designs and customizing shirts so what’s not to like!

Nice designs, shirts are not particularly in good quality, staff are generally helpful. Just shaddy sales tactics. Guess it’s just one of the tourist traps.

I had a general design for a t-shirt in mind for some time. Whilst holidaying in San Francisco I came across California Smiles whilst strolling at Fisherman’s Wharf. I described the design I was after to the friendly staff. They quickly helped refine my idea, create a digital mock up and it wasn’t long before I had my ideal t-shirt. All in all in experience was very enjoyable, the service excellent and the rates competitive. I’m extremely pleased with the result and the level of customisation available.

From the start the guys working there were super nice to me. They have a variety of prints to choose from. One of the workers even gave me a 10% discount off coupon for when I go back. Cheaper then the other places I’ve looked at around the bay. Good quality too. I liked the place and service.

Let’s say you’re in SF for work and one of the days it is highly recommended you dress like a tourist. Let’s also say that you manage a team of people and you’d like to get everyone on your team personalized SF shirts because it’s always tackier when these things are personalized and a half dozen or so of you match, right? If you find yourself in this situation California Smiles can most definitely help you out. For a price of course. A pretty steep price actually. But, let these guys know you aren’t really a tourist and they charge you half as much which is still pricey, but not so expensive you have to sell your plasma to afford 7 of them. They also sell other types of tourist-y shirts, hats and so on as well as randomly screen printed shirts. The space is pretty crowded with stuff and the sizes are hit or miss, but I’m guessing you could find whatever you might need for touristy stuff in a pinch.
