LOVE Café Venue. It has a great selection, great staff, and great value. If I had endless dollars I would go here every day for lunch. I love their breakfast options, I love their lunch sandwiches, salad, and pasta options, and I love their juices/smoothies! Their smoothies are made right there on the spot with fresh ingredients and are reasonably priced.(I can be a stickler about high prices.) They are the best. If I could portray any more love for them on Unilocal I would.

Convenient Place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. It is reasonably-priced and close walk from my office. They have great smoothies: ~Banana Bee Smoothie ~Blueberry Citrus Smoothie …are my favorites. Their fresh tossed salads are always a treat, huge portions. One of the best Beet salads I’ve had with Chicken breast. Other salads to check out: ~Thai Chicken Breast Salad with their peanut dressing… delicious ~Spinach & Cranberries salad with chicken-interesting smoked bacon, eggs, walnuts, dried cranberries, parmesan cheese with their house mustard vinaigrette ~Steak Ensalada Ranchera salad– angus fajita mix, tortilla chips & house chipotle ranch dressing –really tasty ~Kale & Lentil salad makes me always feel like I’m putting all these good things in my body Love these sandwiches: ~California Club-I customize mine with getting it on wheat instead of sourdough bread w turkey, avocado, smoked bacon, lettuce and instead of mayo getting it with the honey dijon aioli sauce ~Monterey Chicken Sandwich-the melted Jack cheddar cheese, with pesto mayo but i get it with wheat as well instead of the ciabatta ~Jammin Turkey Cranberry Sandwich-turkey, cranberry jam on walnut bread-deelicious! I also like getting their pasta with creamy garlic sauce. Very filling! Don’t forget their breakfast burritos and sandwiches. They are equally delicious. That is why Café Venue is reliable for breakfast & lunch and the line goes by very quickly so you don’t have to wait too long. Café Venue offers decent sandwiches and salads made fresh and fast at a reasonable price. The café is nice and clean with two rooms: the larger dining room by the entrance with the sandwich and salad preparation counter against a wall and a smaller dining room in the back. Inexpensive and reliable — my go to place in the Financial District.

This is my go to juice place. I love their juices, they are freshly squeezed right on the spot! I recommend getting the Pink Lady, it’s my ultimate fave. I come here for breakfast sometimes when I am craving breakfast burritos. They are pretty good. Today I went to try their lunch menu. I had their cheese ravioli, nothing special. The cheese kinda smelled like puke, but that’s just cheese.

Oh, Café Venue. This place has become one of my go-to spots. Reasonably priced breakfasts AND lunches?! Yes, please. Also, they offer juices! I know, the juice that they have isn’t like the pretentious, overly priced juices that are more common in this area, but I would like to think it’s still fairly healthy. hah. I frequent this spot for their breakfast burritos. It’s so common to see places that heat up their frozen eggs for their sandwiches around here. It’s really nice to see that Café Venue peeps actually cook their stuff that morning – you can just see it! They have their flat top right there. It could get a little confusing to know who has ordered and how hasn’t, but overall, once you know, you just know.(Order first, then pay while they’re making your food. I know, a little confusing.) The staff here is really great as well, and hey, guess what? They cater! My office ordered a bunch of breakfast burritos and juice for our team. That Red Alert(beet juice, pineapple?, orange juice? [trust me, it’s good]) though. I also get the Revive Me from time to time. I believe that one has some ginger, lemon, carrot combo. As for lunch, I’ve only been a handful of times and I’ve gotten this chicken pesto sando which was good and I tried the thai chicken salad as well as the beet salad. All very good. One thing that I did get for lunch that I wasn’t so keen on was the Tuna Sandwich. a bit too much mayo for my taste. My coworker digs the Caesar. gets it every time. TL;DR: Reasonably priced juices and breakfast sandos/burritos/scrambles FTW.

Update 11÷10÷15 — very courteous & responsive management. Immediately replied and offered refund or free salad. Came back and salad was made perfectly and very kind associates apologized again for inconsistency. Old review– Lunch FAIL: ordered a small beet salad. Simple enough. Paid like $ 10 and went back to my office. Opened it up and no walnuts and no blue cheese. Really?! $ 10 small salad and you leave out half the ingredients?! Won’t be returning or recommending. Ugh.

I had a breakfast burrito with chicken, and it was DABOMB! I’d recommend trying it with chorizo, as I think it would pair better with the potatoes in the burrito. At $ 6 including tax, the breakfast burritos are one of the most affordable breakfast options in the area. I’ll definitely be returning!

Don’t go to this place anymore! I got a breakfast burrito last week and they forgot the potatoes. I asked them to add it back they were extremely rude and told me it was my own fault that I didn’t ask for potatoes. Do I have to ask for the eggs too? I got a chop chop salad today and they forgot the chicken! Too bad I’m already back at my desk and won’t be able to go back. It happens way too often that they forget the key ingredients. Avoid this place.

Review for Seafood soup. This soup was one of the very best chowder type soups I have ever had. It could easily be served at a fine dining restaurant at $ 15 a pop. I was hesitant to get it because I didn’t want something creamy(I wanted something tomato-y) but I just got a small and now my only regret is not getting a large. The soup is the perfect consistency, thick, rich and opaque from cream, not lumpy, jiggly and cloudy from corn starch. The soup tastes like thyme and tarragon and a really clean, light seafood flavor. The small chunks of fish tasted like cod, somehow were not dried out and I also saw some Bay Shrimp. There for a few chunks of potato, definitely not laden with them though. I will definitely be back for more of this soup.

The line can get a bit long during lunch hours, but it’s not too bad. Expect to wait 10 – 20 minutes if you get here around noon. I always order the exact same thing when I come here: Large Thai Chicken Breast Salad with extra dressing. I love how there are noodles tossed into this salad, making it a substantial meal rather than a sad little pile of greens. I’m so addicted that sometimes I will walk 20 mins from my office just to satisfy my craving.

If you too have the exciting life of eating at your desk more often than not, and if you too find a good place and stick with it, this joint is for you. Consistently good good at a good price point. These folks handle a high volume at lunch and they hustle. Even at peak with a line you are in and out without a long wait. Salads are big. Sandwiches are pretty good — not exotic or big. Not a fancy or quiet place if you’re eating in.

This is my standard go-to for lunch in the Financial District for two specific reasons: 1) they make tasty salads(from a menu, not make-your-own) including the Chop Chop, which probably isn’t the healthiest salad in the world* but it’s tasty and there’s no tax if you get it to go. I’d suggest the small — the large is a lot of salad. 2) They are super fast. I came in yesterday at 12:15(I know, I know — rookie mistake) and though the line stretched almost all the way out the front door. Yet I was out the door with my salad in less than 10 minutes. Salads come with a piece of bread, but the bread isn’t very good. One thing to note — after you order your food head down to the register to buy your meal. Pay, and then they’ll bring it to you down near the register. If you’re eating in, the most plentiful seating is all the way in the back. Soda refills are free and the bathroom is outside in the hallway. * — someone actually added it to MyFitnessPal at 463 calories. The internet is wonderful.

What a great little gem. I ordered a carrot juice with ginger and it was quick and quenching my healthy thirst. I also added the kale salad and it tasted marvelous. It came with kale, mixed greens, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, raisins and a tangy fresh vinegarette. It was quite refreshing and delicious. There’s a hint of goat cheese which made the salad even tastier and easier to devour. I’m definitely coming back here to try another salad. The workers are super friendly and helpful.

My favourite(only) place for lunch! I love taking ½ sandwich + ½ salad combo(just +1 $ to the regular salad combo). Everything is always delicious and fresh. Also, even at the most rush time with the biggest lines it never took more than 15 minutes to get the food. Occasionally i get my drink(usually coffee or hot chocolate) for free. I don’t know why, it just disappears from the bill at the last moment and the cashier doesn’t put it back even when I mention that.

You can’t expect too much from these FiDi quick and easy breakfast&lunch spots. I usually come in and grab a breakfast burrito for those tough mornings, and this is another go to place for a salad. Their prices are reasonable, service is quick, and quality isn’t bad at all. I can be a picky customer who likes to add things here and there to my breakfast burrito and my salads to get that extra bang for my buck, but I’m almost never charged for the extra sprouts, tomatoes, things of that sort. Favorite salad: Ensalada Ranchera — switching out for the house red wine shallot vinaigrette instead, and with sprouts added! ~$ 10

Café Venue has consistently delicious burritos and sandwiches. It’s my go-to place for a quick meal, just down the street from where I work. They serve breakfast burritos before 11AM… a must-have. Steak is my favorite. Chorizo is good too, but it gets super oily and messy. For lunch, their Monterey Chicken sandwich is pretty bomb! It has chicken, avocado, melted jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pesto mayo. They give generous portions, and the service is very efficient for how busy they get.

I usually stop in here to satisfy my breakfast burrito craving. They used to be really fat and heavy, but I feel like the last 2 times I’ve been here, they’ve gotten slightly lighter and skinnier. Anywho, it’s still a great deal — I get a chorizo breakfast burrito with no additional add-ons(you can add things like avocado) and with tax, it’s still under $ 7. They really have the speed down pat. You walk in, go past the register and straight to the counter where they make your food. When they’re ready for you, tell them your order; considering how many people come here for their breakfast, you may want to stand off to the side if you want to peruse the menu, then get in line. After you order, go to the registers by the entrance and tell them what you ordered. Honor system. Then you can wait off to the side till they call up your order. What I love about their burritos here is the tortilla. I’m usually a corn tortilla kind of girl… I don’t like the… flour-y taste, for lack of better words, lol. However, their tortillas here are different. It may be because of the heat thing they put your burrito in before wrapping it up and handing it to you; it’s also thinner. +Fast — I’m usually in and out in under 10 minutes +Lots of tables if you want to sit +Bomb breakfast burritos

I stumbled upon this place on my lunch break. Lot’s of people go here for lunch so I said«Why not? Looks good.» The ambience is simple. Looks like a cafeteria-ish café where you line up & order your food, watch it being made, & then pay for it… nothing fancy. The line starts off long but goes by fast. They serve pastas, salads, sandwiches, & soups. Lots of variety. I got the ½ sandwich ½ salad combo w/a Chop Chop Salad w/a Turkey Club sandwich. It was good! The portions were big & I liked how the salad had avocado in it. I’d go back to try their other choices. So far it’s a good place for lunch.
