Madeline did a fantastic job doing the flowers at my wedding. She is a great communicator, listens attentively to what you want, gives great advice and has phenomenal designs.
My bouquet was gorgeous, the aisle flowers perfect and the table settings were incredible!
I highly recommend Madeline and can’t wait to work with her again for another party!!!

Madeline did our floral package for our wedding and she did an amazing job. She worked carefully with us with our limited budget, but still produced beautiful personal and venue flowers that we loved, and many of our guests inquired about. She is professional, yet personable, and we were very happy with our decision to use her as our vendor. We’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Gilliflower Design and Madeline Trait are outstanding! Madeline did our flowers for our wedding and they were more than I could have ever hoped for. I received numerous compliments on the creativity and beauty of the arrangements. The words used most often were elegant and impressive. She used a combination of dahlias, cala lilies, and purple artichokes to create gorgeous arrangements. Her taste is impeccable!
I had a unique situation where we unexpectedly moved out of state before our wedding, which I thought would make planning our vineyard wedding difficult, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth with Madeline helping us out. She even helped review things at the venue site for me, so I could have assurance that it would look just as I had hoped.
Madeline is super easy to work with and I would recommend her for any event that you are planning big or small.

Like most others here, Madeline was the florist for my wedding, but that most certainly doesn’t mean our wedding flowers were like any other! The flower arrangements, both in planning ideas and day-​of execution were so creative, unique and absolutely beautiful! She was recommended by our caterer (also wonderful, SpringLoaf Catering) who had worked with Madeline before at 1 Fort Mason events where we had our wedding.
While they’d worked with Madeline before, even one of the members of the catering staff noted to my mom that the arrangements were the most beautiful and unique she’d ever seen at a wedding!
Madeline did a beautiful job of working in the feeling of our wedding and the feeling of 1 Fort Mason which has so many gorgeous wildflowers around it. The table arrangements and bouquets were wildflower-​inspired as well as doing a wonderful job of including my purple theme color in various shades plus pretty greens as well that looked garden-​inspired but still with just enough wedding elegance. I definitely recommend Gilliflower for any wedding or other event — as noted, gorgeous results that got lots of compliments, plus very reasonable pricing and Madeline was a joy to work with as she had so many great ideas and was very accessible during wedding planning.

Madeline did the flowers for my wedding and I got SOOOO many compliments. Not only is her work gorgeous, she is great to work with. I was on a really tight budget and she really worked with me to make sure I got the most for my money without sacrificing quality. I also hired her to host a flower arranging class for my mom on Mother’s Day and it was one of my mom’s favorite presents ever — she totally feels like Martha now: D Madeline is a great person and will make your day that much more special!

Madeline did the flowers for our wedding — everything from the bouquets to corsages to rehearsal dinner flowers, church flowers, and reception flowers, and we had 200 guests. She was incredible. She is HIGHLY organized, yet extremely relaxed and never made me feel like I had to worry or stress about a thing. That was one part of the wedding that I never thought about twice, and the result was true perfection — a hundred times better than I could have ever envisioned. I’m so thankful for Gilliflower and the memories I’ll always have because of my wedding flowers.

Gilliflower did an amazing job at my friends wedding I was just at! The numerous tiny pearls on the brides bouquet added such a great personal touch and attention to detail. Her design background really showed through from the unique arrangements and the beautiful color scheme. My friend had a limited budget to work with on her wedding but the flowers looked like she paid hundreds of dollars more. She was very happy working with Madeline and everyone sang high praises for Gilliflower Design!

Madeline did the flowers for my wedding last month and they were perfect!
All we had to do was give her a budget and our color scheme and they turned out better than I ever could have imagined. Of all our vendors, she was the most reliable and easiest to communicate with. I never worried once.

As much as me and my then-​fiancé thought we had our act together in planning our wedding we left some very important elements undone until close to the last minute. One of them was flowers. Gilliflower was our first choice for flowers since I have followed Madeline’s work with interior design and the like for many years. Her effortless sense of style and color really made it a pleasure to work with her. We did not have a lot of perimeters for her to follow and I feel she really excels with given room to be creative. Even if you had very specific wants she knows just how to please. Even though we did not give her a lot of time she took on the challenge with professionalism and enthusiasm. Thank you Madeline!
