BS Trivia

I hired AJ for my friend’s 40^th birthday and was so happy with everything that he did to make the night special. He worked with me so he could tailor the game board, topics and questions around the birthday girl’s favorite things. AJ was quick to respond to all e-​mails, was flexible on time and easy to work with. His ability to work the crowded, loud room while keeping the game moving was impressive. This particular group was made up of a wide variety of people, from kids to grandparents, and he interacted with all of them wonderfully, even giving the youngest his own job of collecting answers. I would strongly recommend AJ for any of your trivia events. He made a great night even better with his trivia host skills and all around great personality. Thanks AJ!!!

Two Sundays in a row for trivia at Café Flore. AJ is a hunk, and very courteous. Won last week and 2^nd place tonight, due to smart companions!

I’ve been going to BS Trivia at Vinyl pretty regularly and recently went to their new trivia night at Café Flore. Almost always a packed house — I’ve found myself tableless at Vinyl on several occasions, so show up a little early if you’re going with a lot of friends. Draws questions from categories across the board — music, sports, geography, history, movies, science, etc. Has a variety of different question types — most are free form answers, but there are also a few multiple choice and true false, and there are two special «bonus rounds» that often have more interesting question types, like «order these best picture winning movies by the year of their release». Questions run at just the right pace to let you catch up with your friends, but not so slow that you get impatient when you’re near the lead and really care. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to BS Trivia at Vinyl on Tuesday nights a couple times now. Starts at 8pm but it’s hit or miss whether it’s super crowded or not. Stay safe and get there by 7:45…7:30 with a big group. Here’s my pros/​cons:
Pros:
— Instant gratification: they collect answers after each question, so you get to know the answer really quick!
— Wagering: you get to wager how many points you want each question
— Great bar: good wine and beer selection
— Food truck: order outside, they’ll bring it to you inside
Cons:
— Don’t get as many questions as other trivia since they collect and go through each answer before moving on
— Happy hour ends at 7pm before the trivia starts :(
Overall, fun night with small or large group of friends. Have fun!

Awesome trivia night in the city! It’s packed, but that’s because it’s awesome! Starts at 8p, but probably best to get here at 7.30p to guarantee you get a seat. For local trivia in a fun place, BS Trivia’s where it’s at. And AJ’s cute :)

The best trivia around! It gets crowded, so arrive early to make sure that you get a spot. Lots of fun!
