This was my 1st time buying flowers for my mother for Mother’s Day. I have been passing by this flower stand for the last 20 yrs but never had the reason to buy any flowers. Anyway today I bought my mother 2 dz roses(1yellow &1 coral). She just loves them. Thanks for making a great Mother’s Day for her.

Oh my gosh! This place is awesome to pick up some flowers. You can pick and choose which flower bunch you want and they can put it together! It’s amazing because I couldn’t do it myself. Thanks guys! They’re beautiful!

This was a last minute trip before I left SF to go back to LA. Earlier in the day my girl told me to love her more. She was having a rough day and my playful mood wasn’t enough to lift her spirit. I thought about all the things that I’ve done before to make her smile or laugh. Flowers was that one thing that correlates with work and getting her to smile. This shop was really easy to spot. Literally can not miss the millions of bouquets lol. I didn’t catch his name but he was a huge help. Got a beautiful custom mix for cheaper than I thought it would be. I will definitely come back and recommend this shop to anyone looking to make that special someone smile.

Great deal, engaging staff and beautiful flower choices! I came here on a Sunday mid afternoon to buy flowers for my floral arrangement class because the farmers markets had closed and I didn’t want to spend money going to those boutique flower shops that charge $$$ with flowers that can’t last more than two days. I picked out a batch of red daisies, a mix bouquet, and a dozen of cream baby roses. I was blown away by getting amazing service I received and the staff there(can’t believe I didn’t get her name) gave me great recommendations on how to take care of the flowers and useful apps I can download to learn more about flowers. Her floral choices are helping me ace this class with the projects I have done so far. Amazing shop to buy flowers from!

This place has been around forever. Basically some old converted roach coaches made into a make shift flower stand. Luckily it’s also on my way home. I’ve been getting flowers here forever and their flowers are better than most actual flower shops in the city. Their flowers always outlive any of the more expensive shops. They’re always willing to help even if it’s 1 min before closing. A sunset district main stay for flowers.

Mickey Mouse Flowers, Low Quality, exposed to sunshine, heat, traffic, and polution. My housemate bought some flowers from them and brought them home. She knows NOTHING about flowers and they are the worst flowers I have ever seen. A hand tied bouquet with LOTS of greenery — 2 stems of leather leaf, 1 stem myrtle, 2 stems of Lemon Leaf, 1 Iris(blown open) 1 carnation and last and of course least 1 stem of pompoms. I HATE carnations and pompoms. Ive walked by this Flower stand numbers of times and Ive always overlooked them I would never buy flowers here. The buckets look dirty and I doubt that these flowers are very fresh. Its as if these guys shop for the cheapest flowers at the Flower Market and sell them on busy 19th and Quintara for a cheap price but really they are making high margin on crap quality flowers. And its all the same Mickey Mouse stuff. I’d NEVER order an arrangement here. This is by no means a flower shop. I have warned my housemate to NEVER buy flowers from them again, they are crap! Sorry.

If you are looking for fresh, beautiful flowers that will last a long time, you need to come here! My family and I have been purchasing flowers from this cute flower stand in the corner of 19th and Quintara for years and have never been disappointed. The flowers from this place actually last! I have gotten. Bouquets from other places and have been very disappointed because after two/three days, the flowers no longer look good and I end up having to throw them out. I love the arrangements that this place create! Do yourself a favor and purchase two different bouquets and have one of the friendly guys out together a beautiful arrangement that your loved one will absolutely love! The service and prices here are great! You will be greeted by really friendly people who you can tell, absolutely love what they do! I mean… They stand in the cold for hours just to make sure that people can have beautiful flowers :).

I’ve driven by this spot numerous times. What better day to try them out then valentines day? I decided to get lunch first after I drove by and saw a huge crowd. After lunch it had died down. I got a half dozen red roses for $ 20 flat. Clearly, prices today were different than the signs but I understand supply and demand. Before wrapping the flowers the guy switched out one sorry looking rose for a fresher one. That was a nice touch. Contrary to what another reviewer said of getting his nice ones swapped out for crappier ones. I’ll come here again.

I live right by this flower stand. I needed to fly across the country after working 14 hours to go see my mother and wanted to bring her flowers. I asked the gentleman what kind of flowers would hold up the best and he directed me towards a pretty bunch and then wrapped them up for me. The flowers were very inexpensive however they do not look as perfect as flowers you would get from most floral shops. Which sounds bad but isn’t. They’re just farm flowers, I guess? Still pretty and fresh though. Overall, very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back. :)

Be careful this guy will rip you off. Asked for 2dozen for $ 9.99 and he said said it’s wholesale only. False advertisement. I picked another set. He took to the back to rearrange and and changed the flowers and gave me all the crappy petals. Don’t waste your time here

Came here today to buy flowers for my Aunt’s graduation. Something about the guy in the black beanie behind the counter putting roses together made me want to steal him, put him in a love story, and marry him! LOL But seriously, the flowers were beautiful, the guys were very sweet, and the prices are wonderful. I’m glad we found em!

Tulips are on my mind a lot lately and driving by on 19th ave I saw a $ 4.99 sign for a «bunch of tulips». For the last week or two I’ve been pricing them out at Safeway, Cal Mart, and Bryants. Their prices were $ 6.99, $ 11.99 and $ 12.99, respectively. So for $ 4.99 at Brother’s I thought hands down this is the place to go. I made a trip there after work today to pick up some flowers for my mom, grandmother and aunt for and early Mother’s day dinner. Parking wasn’t hard to find surprisingly which made for an easy grab and go purchase. Ok, now on to the $ 4.99 tulips I’ve longed for the past couple of weeks. Pathetic I tell ya! Teeny tiny tulips, oh the horror! I bought a yellow bunch and a pink bunch and paid my $ 10 and left wondering what I was going to do about the dinner flowers. I ended up at Safeway and noticed their tulips being the«normal» size I’m used to for $ 6.99. Next time I’m going to Safeway. But I did notice some nice roses at Brother’s. Maybe they’re more of a rose kinda place anyways.

I WAS A CUSTOMEROFTHISPLACEFOROVER10YEARS. NOWTHEYREFUSEDTOSERVEME. MYSTORYISBELOW. On February 13, 2010, I went to 23/Quintara shop to buy flowers for an older guy dying from a lung cancer at a hospice. It was on the eve of the Valentine day; for some reason the shop did not have carnations — only overpriced roses. A young sales clerk asked to help me; I told him I needed carnations for an old dying from cancer man. The young salesclerk, clearly moved by my story, dived into a large garbage bin on the sidewalk. He was able to fish out three carnations from the garbage. The carnations looked good and strong and he told me that those were leftovers from the old mix that they discarded earlier that day. I asked to pay for the three carnations to which the young man said that since he took them from the garbage bin he did not think it would be anything. At that time one of the owner/brothers came out from the shed; he yelled at the young man angrily and demanded $ 15 for the three carnations. I paid full price in cash and told the owner that he was not nice, he cursed at me. A week later I bought flowers from that same owner who happened to personally«serve» me. He did not even wrap the flowers. When I pointed to him that my car became wet from the water pouring off the stems, he became very angry and cursed me. Next time I was at the place I told my story to a blond lady and another salesclerk and promised to inform all Unilocalers about my experience. The salespeople assured me that they cared for the business and asked me to come back and not to post any bad comments on the internet. Two weeks later, when I came to buy more flowers from the shop, they refused to sell me anything because the owner forbade them to sell flowers to me after they told him about my complaining.

Every time I see a guy hold a bouquet of walking down a street, I think«awww how sweet.» I bought some flowers for BF’s graduation last week. It took me a while to find flowers that I liked & was hoping for something sort of resembled the graduate’s school colors. I will be back to get flowers for my sis graduation in a couple of weeks. Oh yeah, parking wasn’t hard.
