I’ve come in here a few times to grab a couple slices during work. I work down on Kearny and Pacific, so it’s stupid close and convenient. Prices can’t be beat, less than $ 3.00 a slice if I remember right. And some sort of 2 slice lunch special dealio. I’ve only gone with the fail safe cheese slice and pepperoni slice. One time grabbed an early dinner late lunch depending on which side of the line you’re standing on. He got a Philly Sandwich and seemed to fully enjoy it. It came with a soda and an order of fries. Not something to be marveled at, but it’s fast, cheap, and easy. And that’s never, NEVER, a bad combo.

I was craving pizza after the club and it wasn’t too far from where we were. I ordered the mushroom, sausage & pepperoni & the guys ordered a Hawaiian and combo. A little too greasy for my liking. Not a far step up from Cable Car at double the price($ 5 a slice). Their saving grace? Loud hip hop music you can’t help but dance to. Nothing like listening to «sexual seduction» while devouring your meat of choice.

They delivered the pizza on time, that’s the only positive remark I have about the establishment. The sauce tasted like ketchup and the cheese was totally bland. Overall it was totally tasteless. Unless you are desperate, I would not recommend this pizza.

My husband and I ordered from here through and what a disappointment it was. — The driver did not have change for a $ 20 bill. Let me rephrase that. He did not bring ANY change! — We ordered Sprite but instead got orange Sunkist. If you don’t have what we ordered, pleaeeeeese call us and let us know instead of sending something we wouldn’t drink. — We ordered onion rings but instead got mozzarella sticks. Too many things were overlooked… and one thing they did get right which was the pizza, didn’t taste that great. 2 stars for the pizza.

My friend and I left Sutra early to get pizza. We’d rather get pizza then stay at Sutra any longer plus our feet were beginning to hurt. I got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a bottle of water, which came out to 6 dollars. Nothing special about the pizza but at the moment it was bliss in my mouth! haha! And the slices are huge! If you really wanted to you can share it with someone. But really, I was just happy that there were seats so I could rest my feet. haha! It’s a small shop but awesome because it was open still.

Way too expensive for a slice. Slices are bigger, and it’s not terrible pizza, but I want more for $ 3.50

I’m wavering pretty seriously between a two– and three-star rating. I’ve had pizza delivered from here a couple of times. The first time, the pizza was all right. It could have been cooked through a little bit longer, but it was delicious cold the second day. When I ordered from here last weekend through GrubHub, I called about an hour after I had placed my order to see what was up. The first three times I called, there was no answer. I didn’t get voice mail or anything, just infinite ringing. When you’ve paid for something by credit card, that’s annoying, as you have no idea whether they’ve already charged you or are going to charge you the next day. After looking to see whether they had suddenly closed down, I took a few deep breaths, told my stomach that it would get some nourishment eventually, and called once more. This time, someone answered after the fifth ring. The pizza arrived slightly after that, and it was very good. So the food itself is a three-and-four-star tweener, but the customer service is awful. You should never let a phone just keep ringing.

They stopped making burritos!!! Only worth it if: 1. you’re drunk and in the area 2. you’re so hungry you could eat your hand off and you’re in the area 3. there’s probably no other good reason

They get a star for quick delivery and another for sending me an extra-large pizza when I ordered a large — at no extra charge. Other than that, their pizza is what you would expect from non-Italian San Franciscans. With so many other good choices nearby, this place is strictly a «drunk, 3am, I’m rolling 20 deep with my boys» joint. May they prosper with the Bridge-and-Tunnel and Sacred Heart crowds.

After searching grubhub for places that would still deliver late last night, the only option left was pizza. Broadway pizza was at the top of the list, and with only a 15 dollar minimum for free delivery, we decided to give them a try. I ordered us a large pizza without sauce *gasp*. A few minutes later, a gentleman called back just to be sure I didn’t want the pizza sauce. I thought that was really considerate to double-check. The pizza was really delicious and fresh tasting. It wasn’t nasty-greasy either. Both my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by the crust. It was crispy on the bottom and fluffy in the middle(but not too doughy). Great pizza and great service for a great price!

Slices are good and the price is right — $ 3 for a filling veggie combo. Crust was fresh, fluffy, yeasty, just right for a poofy crust pizza, and the toppings were decent. The owner is there behind the counter. He’s warm and cordial considering the barhopping crowd that comes in, and he proudly explains that he’s going to be redecorating in the next week or two. It’s nice to see a guy who has a strong heart for his business.

Dirty & nasty, not a lot of choice, sketchy neighborhood, and pizza that could have easily been sitting under that heat lamp for days. Yup, this one had all the makings of a 1-star review. Except, the pizza was delicious. And cheap — $ 3 for a massive slice.

yeah, came here after the Unilocal elite event at apartment 24 and i was JONESIN for some gooooooood pizza… we walked around broadway since our friend knew of this pizza place that was really good(but it was closed down, so maybe it wasn’t that good…) so we went to cable car at first, but the pizzas were looking pretty bad(the ones that were sitting there, by the slice), so we walked out and came here, they looked a TEEEEEENSY bit better, i ordered the mushroom cheese pizza…(note: the pizza is right under the heat lamp, next to the open window, this is around 9pm or so) he stuck it in the oven for a couple mins, took it back out, but the cheese was still dried up and totally not melted, i don’t know why he even bothered to stick it in that luke warm oven. BEHHHHHHHHH!!! i take a bite. ITSUCKED. i take a closer look at my pizza, and i see two tiny gnats(fruit flies) that are all shriveled up and dead on my pizza. what an untimely death. at least they died on nice lukewarm nasty tasting pizza. enough said. this place sucks, i’m never coming back.

i came here because it was conveniently located next to apartment 24, which did a poor job of feeding us. i had a sausage, spinach, and feta cheese pizza… not bad at all, and quite large. but like my friend said, «this isn’t that great. there’s better pizza in SF late at night when you’re drunk.»

It looks like any other late night pizza by the slice place. But you’ll be pleased to find that the pizza is actually pretty good, and they also have mexican food! When you’re four or five drinks into the evening, this is like finding a beautiful oasis after crawling through the desert and getting there to find that the oasis also has a bunch of pinball machines and a big pile of quarters. They just started delivery service too! You don’t even have to go to North Beach or even outside your apartment anymore! All Broadway Express has to do for that fifth star is go one step further and offer pizzas with carnitas or carne asada on them. They’ve got the meat and the pizzas already; all that’s missing is a sense of adventure.

You can stop blinking in amazement. You read right. Pizza AND Taqueria. I can only attest to the edibility of the pizza, as the person doing my drunken bidding last night neglected to mention the taqueria part til after I was two slices fatter. I know what you’re thinking: Yeah, yeah. Just what North Beach needs– another pizza place for the wasted kids and the strippers to grease up before heading home for the night. But I see some promise here. For starters, my veggie slice was sprinkled with a generous portion of very fresh toppings as well as some seemingly quality feta cheese. It was good and I would get it again if I found myself wandering the streets of North Beach on an empty stomach. The pepperoni slice I ordered was studded with just enough yummy, mildly spicy pepperoni to make it flavorful but not greasy. Both slices were generously sauced and the crust was evenly cooked and both crispy and chewy. Better than Cable Car for sure. We finished the slices off this morning in a hungover stupor and they still tasted pretty good. Four stars because I am usually appalled to see what I’ve eaten in the throes of alcohol-induced starvation. This is pizza I would likely eat sober.
