Robert made sure we had a great time at Bodega! We were a group of 20 celebrating a birthday and this was our final stop. Although we were a bit late in arriving to our reservation, we still received the full tasting experience. Robert was so friendly and accommodating, it really made for a wonderful experience. They have an extensive tasting list with a handful of wineries represented– as it is a collaborative space. There is a $ 5 or $ 10 tasting option, and both are well worth it. I enjoyed the zin and cab Leaf and Vine offerings in particular. The tasting room is pretty far north on the island, but is worth the extra few blocks. I had contacted Robert ahead of time to let him know we were coming, and he brought our group a big wedge of fresh farm cheese and some crackers to enjoy with our tasting. Doesn’t get better than that! If you are doing a day of tasting on TI, you should definitely make this one of your stops.

This is a collaborative space with, I think, four different wineries. We have been there twice when Tim from Leaf & Vine was pouring and loved the wine and the easy conversation about wine. Last weekend there were 6 of us and all really enjoyed the wine and the dog. Not pretty but great wine.

Always a great experience! Hopefully you will get Kevin to pour for you. He’s really knowledgeable about wines and always has great food combining ideas! Lots of delicious wines to try, don’t miss it!

Love visiting this winery! It helps that it’s just down the hill from us on Treasure Island but it’s also that the people there are really nice and it’s dog friendly so we always enjoy that as well.-Not just tolerate dogs, but cater to them with water, a few jars of different kinds of treats and doggie beds too! Their resident dog is Bentley the basset hound and he is so big and sweet and loves to have his belly and ears rubbed. They do fun events here too– like Paella By the Bay and A Chili Day in December when they cook a huge family style meal and serve wine with it– very fairly priced for these events too. Also, their logo wear is great quality and priced much lower than clothing at other wineries I’ve visited. Go check it out! We’ll definitely be back!

I am surprised to be the first to review Bodega Wine Estates. Apparently the best kept secret on Treasure Island, the tasting room is cozy and welcoming with many delicious wines to sample. Robert served us with a smile while his basset hound yearned for attention. This place is also dog friendly, has a table outside for enjoying the weather, and has a bathroom that you’d see in a magazine. Don’t skip Bodega Wine Estates when visiting Treasure Island.
