Blu is truly amazing. I have been seeing him on average every 1 – 2 months for last few years. He has controlled my Rosacea to the point that I dont know that I have it anymore. My skin is also better than it has been for decades. As a 60 year old retired physician I have seen many aestheticians over the years. Blu is by far the best and I trult recommend his services.

I made an appointment for a Brazilian before burning man 2013. Blu was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Talking can be awkward in these situations, he has a wonderful bedside manner. I’m making an appointment to go back now before I head out for this year’s burn. I’ve recommended him in my camp’s forum.

Ive never had my teeth whitened before but I decided to try it. Blu was very professional through the process, which was painless and quick. Now my teeth are very white. I’d go back for sure… for some reason this didnt post a year ago when i wrote it so im posting it now.

I made and appointment with Blu to start treatments for acne scars on my face. He was amazing! He explained the treatment process and what to expect in detail. Ive only done the treatment two times and I already see such a difference! I can only imagine how great my skin will look after a few more. I have had my back waxed 3 times with Blu. He is great !!!. My hair is getting fine and there is less of it after he waxes me like he said it would be. When he waxes me he is fast and its not painfull. I think thats the key to getting a good waxing if the person doing it is fast and smooth. Blu’s work studio is very clean. I will be back again.

I found Artificial Spa because I was getting my hair cut at every 6 weeks — and I’m so glad I did! I go to Artificial every month for waxing and now I’m looking into their other services. And every time I go, I learn something new. Listen to Blu — his suggestions are great.

Blu was really professional about everything. I stopped by for an eyebrow wax, and he showed me a new polymer based wax that doesn’t adhere to the skin, which helps in preventing redness after waxing. He even put a sample of it on my finger so I could play with it. Sure enough, once it had dried, it didn’t stick to the skin!
It was a Friday night, and I wanted to have my eyebrows done before going out to the bars. In most cases, I would have to do it Thursday night, because normal wax makes my skin very red for a day. I was lazy and left it until Friday though. This new polymer based wax was awesome, and although my skin was a little red after, it went away in about 30 minutes, instead of taking days.
The result: I was able to go out to the bar looking great without any/​minimal redness! I also took advantage of the check-​in offer, and believe it or not, its not painful at all!

I had an orange chemical peel from Blu last week. Today, my skin looks fabulous! It was so worth the investment. Blu is fun to work with, too. Super cute…

I got my teeth whitened. Blue was very accommodating and informative. All the equipment was sterile in prepackaged kits. I will be coming back for more.

Stopped by yesterday for an eyebrow wax. Blu was friendly, professional and the space was very clean (which is essential). Was a quick procedure and done perfectly.
I must highlight the sliding scale price list. There is an intial charge, but as logn as you go back for regualr maintenance, then the prices drops about 30%. That is a great incentice to be a regular here, and will certainly bring me back.
Location is convenient as well.

This was a new experience for me. Something I always wanted to do — but was afraid to do — e.g. too painful. Blu was awesome! From the start he was reassuring about the process, clearly explained how it was going to work and then very carefully proceeded to do the work. He addressed upfront the awkwardness as well. The salon is clean, bright and very relaxing. Overall it was a great experience and I would not hesitate for a minute to go back to Blu! Oh and the results, AWESOME. Feel like a new man!

Made the process easy. Was nervous about getting a Brazilian wax job, but it wasn’t bad. Blu made it easy and made it relatively painless. Definitely worth doing because the results were great. I’m back for another treatment. This time I am getting my Brazilian redone and have added nose and near hair. Definite recommend it, especially here. Thanks Blu!
