Blush Makeup & Hair

I only gave Christa about two days notice before my wedding for hair and makeup. She was very accommodating, especially with such short notice. She came the day of with everything I could possibly need and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. My hair turned out perfect after showing her a couple pictures of what I wanted and my makeup lasted the whole day. We didn’t get any practice runs since I was a little behind the curve but she knew exactly what I was going for. She even provided me with touch up make up for the day. I would highly recommend her! Very professional and super awesome at what she does! Thanks again!

I strongly endorse Christa as your makeup artist! She was super accommodating and even traveled to me for my trial during the last week before my wedding to help alleviate the hectic week! I really appreciated the time that she took to answer and explain all the questions that I had. On the day of my wedding, she was on time and remained very calm during the hectic preparations, and for a bride right before her wedding, that is exactly what you need. She was totally prepared, super professional and was able to stay focused during the chaos! My makeup looked fantastic, and I looked better than I ever have in my photos! If only I could do my makeup like her, I would be a very happy woman! I wanted a natural look, but yet something that enhanced my face and she did exactly that. It lasted throughout the day, which my ceremony started at 2pm and ended with the reception at 11pm. She even gave me lipstick applications to take along with me for when it faded. I found Christa on The Knot, after researching around 30 different artist throughout the bay area. I’m really glad that I chose Christa, she is awesome!

Christa did my make up for my engagement photos and wedding ceremony. she did awesome work and my make up was flawless. normally, i have oily skin and my face shines when i take pictures & sometimes it would even wear off throughout the day. i told Christa about this problem and the way she applied it, my make up lasted all day, with NO shine in my pictures. she is very personable and i highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a makeup artist for their special day or any other event…

Christa is extremely friendly, personable and, most importantly of all, professional. I had a 30 minute consultation with her where I explained everything I wanted. She was not only knowledgable about hair and makeup, but had some great suggestions about how I could look even more beautiful. I highly recommend her!

Down to earth kinda girl…
I originally found Christa through craigslist after hunting high and low all over the internet. I has so many referrals of make up artists through word of mouth or a friend of a friend, but I just wanted to be sure I didn’t miss out on any hidden gems. I am glad I trusted my gut and eventually stumbled on Christa. I viewed her website and found her prices to be very reasonable, a huge plus! I originally contacted her through email and she got back to me right away! After a few emails back and forth we decided to meet for a trial and Christa was willing to drive practically anywhere to meet me. Upon meeting we hit it off right away. What I loved about Christa was her professionalism, but she was also very easy to open up to. She listened to what I was looking for and added in her own suggestions. I ended up having a secondary trial for my bridesmaids and that’s when I knew she would be perfect for the job. On the big day Christa arrived early and got right to work. She worked at a good pace considering she had to tackle 3 bridesmaids. She also faced a challenge of making sure my bridesmaids felt comfortable with the make up they had on especially since they are not heavy make up wearers. The final outcome was perfect, all the girls felt comfortable in their own skin and loved how they beamed! They all had that «J.Lo» glow!
For me it’s important to find the right person for the job not only because of their skills but their personality counts a lot for me too. Christa is a down to earth kinda girl and she makes everyone feel comfortable and brings out their natural beauty.
