Some of the best Mediterranean/​Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had! Perfect for vegans and their portions are definitely hearty. Their staff is always smiling and friendly and eager to help. They also offer wine and have a great vibe. Living right down the street, I come here as much as possible.

Awesome place for Vegans and vegetarians! I always take my parents, who are strict vegans, here for the Falafel Supreme plate (neatly rolled shwarma, orange slice, dolma) and they love it!
Also a great workspace with spacious seating and a relaxed ambience. You clean up after yourself.

Absolutely in love with this place! The wraps are to die for! Today was my second time getting their wraps and they were just incredible! The size of the wrap is so so big and is perfect size for a filling lunch/​dinner. The lamb and falafel are super tender. The taste of the wrap is just unexplainable, it’s something you must try for yourself. Can’t wait to be back!

Was planning on going to 1428 Haight restaurant but it was busy, so decide to try this place next door. What a mistake! There is a reason why it was almost empty. The service was horrible and the food was average. There was only 2 customers in the place and they couldn’t be bother to come by our table to let us know our food was ready when we didn’t hear them call out our number. There are better middle eastern restaurants in San Francisco to bother with average food and bad service.

Poor service, cold food, rude man behind the counter. Four of us ordered food, at the counter, left a 20% tip and sat down to wait for the food. Finally saw the it up on the counter and were waiting for someone to bring it to us. Didn’t know we had to pick it up. Finally went over and got it.
When I mentioned it to the man behind the counter he angrily said,” well, we called your number 3 times but you were so busy talking with your friends you didn’t hear. «There were 2 her people dining in the café at the time, so all he would have need to do was to wave at us and we would have seen it… he had no interest in whether or not we would enjoy the food or our experience in the café.
None of us will never return to this place and you shouldn’t either.

I come here all the time for lunch during the week. I order the super falafel wrap made vegan. Super delicious and filling! Not only is the food good but the owners are so warm and welcoming. They always remember my name and my order :) thanks guys keep up the great work!

Pleasant place to have breakfast. Comfortable bench seat along the wall and the drip coffee is great. The two guys working there are genuine. Went during a non busy hour with just a few patrons there, solid choice if your in the neighborhood.

The husband and I stopped in at this spot while perusing down Haight Street, the menu seemed good. There was a wonderful variety of foods, a lot of fresh options, which I liked. The food was decent.

Tasty tasty — got a gyro platter delivered through Caviar and was not disappointed. I love dry charred gyro meat and this was that. The carmelized onion was great. Also the hummus and falafel was delicious. Great delivery.

The food here is decent medeterranian, with a large set of other kinds of options for breakfast (coffee, bagels, omelettes, etc) and assorted sandwiches and salads. The food isn’t anything to write home about, but it gets the job done at least as well as the other similar fast/​casual options on Haight Street.
But every time I come here, they seem to be way understaffed, and incredibly slow to produce food. Orders trickle out sporadically one at a time, often far after the time you were quoted at the register. If you come with a group, I wouldn’t be surprised if the first person finished eating before the last person got their food.

Their Mediterranean food is not that great. (For that go to Truly Med on 16th st.)
Their sandwiches are outstanding, however. The Chicken Caesar is the best thing on the menu. They toast the bread before assembling it just how you like it. Coffee drinks are good. Beer available. Breakfast too. Right in the middle of the hippie tourist theme park in Upper Haight. Order and pay at the register, then pick up at the counter, no table service.

COFFEE TO SEAL THE NACHOS FROM NEXT DOOR!
Maybe the whole blue front reference reminded me of my favorite romancom Nottinghill, so I poked in for a soy latte. Not disappointed. Not too hot and a little on the nutty side but not so much so to over power the coffee.

Their beef and lamb gyros are excellent! I feel as though they normally skimp on tzatziki and sometimes the meat has an interested hard (like a baby tooth) in it, which I believe is just fat. but hard?
Anyway, their food is great tasting, service is fast!

I had the Shwafel wrap, a delightful combination of shwarma and falafel. Having been to Israel and eating authentic shwarma and falafel, I can tell you this place seriously rocks. The shwarma was flavorful and tender, the falafel was fresh, and the homemade spicy hummus was fantastic. HEALTHY portions! They also have really good home made hot sauce by the napkins and water.
Parents got the turkey sandwich and they also thought it was great. Chocolate brownie — 3 thumbs up! They also make their own iced tea and it was fantastic.
Definitely recommend this place!

Crepevine-​y type set-​up where there’s a HUGE menu board by the front where the registers are, order first & then seating yourself & doing self-​service. Same type of vibe and tables too. Very casual place, it would be cool to have coffee here and study.
Bookmarked this place for a while because they apparently had amazing Mediterranean food. LOVE ME SOME FALAFEL!
Ordered the Falafel Wrap for $ 10, which was HUGE. I only had half and I was full… people raved about their hummus, and damn, yeah, it was really good. Perfect mix of potatoes, eggplant, cucumber and delicious falafel. GUH. Just what I wanted. Falafel was crunchy on the outside and had a good savory nutty flavor, just like how good falafel should be. (hate soggy falafels!)
My friend got the Shawarma plate for $ 12 which was ALSO huge. looked delicious and it was a TON of food as well. can’t speak to that but it sure looked like it was worth it.
Would definitely come again!

I make it a point to stop in here every time I visit Haight. I have dreams about the falafel supreme, yes it is just THAT GOOD. They take falafels, hummus, sun-​dried tomatoes, lentils,
cucumbers, tomatoes and tahini sauce and wrap it in a lavosh and grill it. It is one of my favorite fast food Mediterranean dishes and I wish I was eating one right now.
By the forks and napkins is their red sauce which I believe is a chili paste, slather some of that bad boy on and your mouth make explode with pleasure. The BF got the bacon, chicken waffle sandwich and while that is just a heart attack waiting to happen it was equally delicious.
We were lucky enough to get a seat by the window on our last visit. It was pure heaven.
