I have always felt like i had/have low energy and always fatigue(even pre-baby). So I’m trying to be healthier with my diet so I can have energy with my new baby. My friend told me about Chinese Medicine and that it could help with all of that. I also used to have accupunture done on my restless legs and for stress, so I thought about doing it again. I came here last week and they assessed me. I told them I am trying to lose some baby weight as well as trying to fix my low energy and diet. The translator/accupunturist, Nina was super nice and sweet and made me feel very comfortable while they checked/read my pulse and assessed me. Turns out my Qi is weak! So they perscribed me 5 days of natural herbs along with a schedule for accupunture. The first day they did cupping as well and it relieved my pinched nerve in my left shoulder! I am coming back next week to continue treatment for accupuncture and refill on the herbs. They were very knowlegable and taught me exactly what and why I am always feeling tired. I know the herbs and accupunture is an ongoing treatment and it is for a long term benefit. The herbs taste super nasty, so obviously good for my body haha I am not looking for quick results, just overall positive wellness and hopefully can lose weight at the same time. I like how the specialists at BitterTaste Sweet Health taught me this and I plan on going back when they tell me what is necessary.

Dunno what happened to my first review. I’ll give it another shot and see how it goes. This is an old school Chinese medicine place. «Bitter taste» refers to the medicinal herbs that are dispensed here. Also on offer is acupuncture, not surprisingly. Check the mannequin in the window if you’re not sure how your chi flows.
