We wanted to bike the Golden Gate bridge, and were not sure where to rent from, but saw an ad and $ 5 coupon in the tourist map we got from the hotel. Got off the F line at Fisherman’s Wharf and without must trouble found Bike and Roll.
Blazing Saddles seems to be the most popular rental company, but we didn’t think we missed out at all. First, the sales reps were super friendly, patient, and nice. Our bikes were great, and we LOVED the beautiful weather we got biking over to Sausalito.
I think the charges are fairly similar all over town — basically after 3 hours, there is a flat fee. We chose that (which was needed, since the line to the ferry back was atrocious that Sat). I can’t recall the price exactly, but I want to say we paid around $ 30 for the whole day.
Coming back was also a cinch, as the ferry drops you off just a few minutes ride back to this stall.
