Bay Area Cremation & Funeral Services

Though BACS has a SF office, they are based out of Stockton, CA. When I called I was pleasantly greeted and forwarded to Lucy, one of the funeral directors, based out of Stockton. I only required a simple cremation, burial permit, and death certificates. Lucy walked me through the process, costs, and made all the arrangements. We communicated easily via phone or email throughout the transactions. Very pleasant and professional. I received my father’s remains and paperwork in a timely fashion through the SF office on Geary St., also staffed by very pleasant and professional people. By far their price is the least as well!

This review is a bit late, but I felt the need to mention what a GREAT experience my family has had with BAC&FS.
My Father passed away in JUNE2011, and he was a U.S. Army Veteran. BAC&FS provided very compassionate & great service. I highly recommend them.

My family and I had good experience with BAC&FS Bay View office. They were all very friendly and respectful. My grandmother passed away and we decided to do our funeral services through them. They handled everything in a very professional manner but, were also very compassionate and understanding of our situation within our family. They were reasonably priced and never tried to force additional services. The impression my family and I were left with is that the principles of BAC&FS is honesty, and kindness. I would definitively recommend them.

Our family’s father passed away and we needed same day cremation services. Clint, in the Stockton office, was able to coordinate and arrange everything to make it happen. Everything was straightforward, including a statement with all the costs. No one else was able to do the cremation the same day. The service was quick and very courteous. This is my first review on Unilocal and Bay Area Cremation deserves it.

Clint and his staff provided excellent service and took care of every detail from the beginning to the end. They were very friendly, compassionate and professional. Father passed away this summer and we had no idea where to start looking or even what to look for. But luckily we stumbled upon Bay Area Cremations and Clint Love guided us through the whole cremation/​burial process in a prompt, professional and respectful manner. They were very responsive to our needs and their services are reasonably priced. I have absolutely no complaints.

Gregory… that is too bad you had a crappy experience with the Bayview office. We dealt with the Stockton branch and worked with Cindy, Jenna, and Diane. What a wonderful group of ladies. My mom passed away and her post life directive was to scatter her ashes at the sea. We choose BAC&FS to cremate after my gf did some research. She spoke to several different funeral service companies and went with Cindy because she seemed the most honest and sensitive while some of other vendors were rude and sketchy. Cindy was my initial point person and when she was unavailable to to speak with me, one of the other girls picked up the ball and we went with it. Every time I spoke with someone there, they all knew who my mom was. It felt personal. They didn’t look at my mom as just a case # assigned to so and so… but instead they saw her as my mother and they aggressively contacted the tardy Doctors to get the needed permits to meet our time constraints. I do not normally refer death services… but if someone asked, I will fervently recommend BAC&FS…let me be more specific… I would recommend the Stockton office of BAC&FS.
