Ordered two pizzas from here around 12:30 one night. They arrived at 1:15 and were warm and gooey and delicious. Pizza Alla vodka –amazing. the next time i ordered from this place, my friends were all hyped up from my rave reviews. BUT, it took 2 hours for it to get there, and by the time it did, not only was it hard and cold, but everyone had fallen asleep. the delivery guy had been on the road for an hour. Also, when we reheated it in the morning for a hungover breakfast, we realized there was hardly any cheese. unacceptable… still, 4 stars, cuz that pizza the first time was SODAMNGOOD.

Great Pizza with Shitty service, or a Piece of Shit Pizza with Great service. Which one you prefer? The pizza was a worst-case I ever had. Lumpy, saggy crust, soggy flat cheese, it’s like eating wet cardboard. Btw, Where is brick oven? I didn’t see that. I think many friends of the owner gave 5 star reviews to help the place business going. Good Luck! But, I am done here.

First, I need to state my disclaimer: I was born and raised in Chicago so my pizza expectations are unreasonably high. We chose this place because it had delivery and fairly good reviews. The pizza crust was bland and doughy, the cheese and ingredients were sparse. The kids found the cheese pizza okay, so I gave the review 2 stars. We ordered a mushroom and onion pizza for the adults and the ingredients did not taste of high quality. The onion pieces were unusually large. In addition, during delivery the pizzas must have bounced around because the cheese has all shifted an inch away from the crust. And so the search for decent pizza in San Fran continues…

Absolutely Atrocious!!! Stay Away!!! Poor quality ingredients & slow, but friendly service. Caesar salad had bottled dressing with soggy, packaged croutons. The cheese was not Parmesan but something soft, and white – YUCK!!! Then the pizza. They can have one star for the crust but otherwise horrific. Their combo pizza had dried-out mushrooms, over-cooked green peppers, ‘tangy’ tomato sauce that may have been mostly catsup, green olives and a little cheese. Note I mentioned nothing about pepperoni, or sausage. What kind of combo pizza has no meat???

Good pizza for a very commercial part of the city. We had some cheese, and sausage pizza. They also offer Pizza blanc, pizza smothered in mozzarella, ricotta and prosciutto. I saw on their menu a variety of Heros, grilled eggplant a meatball parmigiana style good fellas sandwiches. A vegan? There’s also fresh salad, tuscana salad, Greek salad and other forms of ruff-age. Enjoy. :-)

Great food, great customer service. I came for the first time before I moved to San Francisco and was met by Ayadi et al. I was told places to go and things to do, all while eating some awesome pizza. I keep going time and time again. Love it!

This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written. That’s how disappointed I am. Why in the world would you have an option to place an order on your website, IFYOUDON’T CHECKYOURWEBSITE? Placed an order online. An hour and a half later, we’re thinking, «Hmm. Maybe we should call them to check on our pizza?» They informed us that they don’t check the website, and that our order was never received. That was their only response — «We don’t check the website.» Bummer. I would have just as easily picked up the phone to place the order in the first place and given them a try, but this city is too saturated with good pizza places to deal with amateur hour, rookie problems like this. Get your act together. Decide if you want to offer your customers a service like online ordering, and then actually follow through with it. If not, just take it off your website. Simple as that.

I think it’s safe to assume that your post 2am customers aren’t going to be your most sober and may go so far as to suggest that being the only place open till 3am in the area and as a pizza joint, that you’re soliciting the intoxicated patron. This place is a like a frickin’ drunk person obstacle course; a proving ground to test your abilities at Jack Daniels logic and rationale. 1. The order challenge: attempt to order 4 slices of pizza. But we have a vegetarian. Severe misunderstanding with the guy. End up letting him order for us since all we can establish is that one shouldn’t have meat. 2. The bathroom challenge: are invited to use the bathroom by one guy. This means jumping over a rolled up hose and a mop bucket as apparently the bathroom is also used as storage closet. Once the leap is complete, are informed by somebody else the bathroom is out of service. Are told to use the door marked private next to the bathroom… which just has a sink and a shower. The girls are invited to use a similarly intoxicated neighbor’s bathroom. The guys… thrown out of the place for using the shower by another person waiting for them as they come out. 3. The pizza challenge: 30 minutes later and I am the only one who is still inside, everybody else standing forlornly on the sidewalk after the bathroom challenge. Pizza hasn’t arrived. I ask the owner? for a status and he tells me he gave me my pizza and points to a table of people I don’t know(there are a total of 2 other parties in the place). He apologizes for giving my pizza away and says he’ll fill my order as soon as possible. I check on my friends. Return to collect my pizza to witness the owner staring down my friend with our to-go order between them. Hightail it out of there severely confused by what happened, and sad we can never return even though we all live 2 blocks away.

Although I went to this joint late, the Smokin’ Goodfella’s pizza was nothing like what I expected based on the claim for the«world’s best pizza». The staff barely spoke English to respond to my question regarding what was their favorite pizza. After waiting 15 minutes for them to slice a few skimpy toppings and bake the pizza, I was shocked at the contrast between the picture and what I saw because it was night and day. Despite the disparity, the pizza was flavorful and tasty with a solid crust. I probably won’t go back even for their claims for the best«old world style» and«NY style» pizza. The ambiance and décor is tacky where the tables and chairs are arranged in an uncomfortable setting.

I called in for delivery at Ayadi last week, and was very, very impressed. The pizza was very good, and the service(everything from the friendliness of the person who I spoke to, to the quick delivery of the pizza) was even better. The Sally Pie is great; very unique. WIll definitely be ordering from here again.

The first time i ordered a pizza from Ayadi it was certainly a NY — Napolatana inspired pizza. The fresh Mozz was splashed over a fresh layer of fresh tomatoes and the bottom layer was just right. The crust wasn’t perfect by any means but the rest made up for it. I was psyched, could this be a decent NY style pizza outside of Victors and Arinel’s? NO, fucking scam is what it is. So i ordered a second pizza 1 month down the road. I swear they called some shit pizza joint and had that delivered to me… the pizza was so bad i threw most of it away. OK, HEREISTHESTUPIDPART… I thought the one time was a huge mistake so i decided to try them one more time… O MYFUCKINGGOD… I was delivered the WORST pizza ever. I would have rather ordered from papa fucking dominos than receive this shit… Please do not order nor support these people. They are just as fake as our government. If you want a decent pizza order from Victor’s or make one yerself like i should have done if i remembered i ran out of yeast. AYADI is a complete scam and i would recommend not supporting them. Here is a list of wonderful NY inspired pizzas in SF you should support: 1: Victors pizza(order a large, ask for only 8 slices and no oregano) 2: Go to Arinell’s and order a large cheese. Or take a cab and order 3 slices of cheese. 3: make it yourself. 4: SF is full of shit pizza and you will never find a decent NY slice unless you go to Arinell’s.

Usually, if an owner or manager contacts me after a negative review, I will agree to give them another chance. I will not accept any discounts or coupons. I will also not tell them when I will order or visit again. Sometimes, it is two days and sometimes it is four months. Ayadi Pizza is one of these. I am glad I gave them a second shot. The second time was much better. Delivery — I placed the order at 7:16PM. The estimated delivery time was 8:24PM. The order was delivered at 7:50PM. At 36 minutes, the delivery was fast and came well before the estimated time. There was no delivery fee. The delivery person was extremely friendly and professional. The order minimum is low($ 12). Quarrto Canton Pizza — Mushroom(First Corner), Imported Provolone(Second Corner), Sausage(Third Corner), Pepperoni(Fourth Corner) This time around, the pizza was very good. It was very well prepared. Each individual corner was good. The crust was perfectly cooked and had a nice bread favor. It was neither to soft nor too crispy. The sauce had a great tangy tomato flavor. My favorite corners were the mushroom corner and the provolone corner. Wings As with my previous order, the wings were a little too oily. But they were still hot and I ate them all. Philly This was a decent sandwich. It could use a little more cheese. Plus some onions would be nice. It was a touch on the dry side. The roll was excellent. Salad This was a simple salad. But the ingredients were fresh. It was still very chilled. I enjoyed it. Packing — The food was neatly packed. The pizza was in a traditional pizza box. They should start to use one of the little plastic thingamajobs in the center to insure the pizza is protected from coming into contact with the top of the pizza box. The other items were packed in easy to reseal plastic clam-shell containers. Prices — The prices were very reasonable. Quarrto Canton Pizza $ 12.99 Philly Cheese Steak Hero $ 6.99 Ayadi Sampler Platter $ 9.99 2 Canned Soda $ 2.50 Subtotal $ 32.47 Tax $ 2.76 Total $ 35.23 Overall — This was a very good experience. I will probably order from them again. The only reason I might not is that I continue to try and check out new places. The food was good. The pizza was very good. The delivery was fast. The service was friendly.

I’ll be fair: I never made it to eating the pizza. The place: reeks of cleaning solvent, not exactly an enticing scent. I stopped by once in the afternoon and there was NO one there except this one man who didn’t speak English. I kept having to repeat myself, and he had no clue what I was saying. Part of why I stopped by was because of the advertised«Free Wifi» sign on the door. When I asked to use the wifi, the guy took me to his computer. No, I don’t want to use YOUR computer, I want to use the wifi on MY computer! I asked him what the network key was, and he had no idea. I ended up cancelling my order and leaving.

An awesome addition to the neighborhood! As someone who is always in search of some good NY-style pie, Ayadi delivers. That also goes for the other items on their menu like the heroes and salads. They have a great selection of very original pizzas and sauces which is a welcome addition to the SF pizza scene. My personal favorite is the Smokin’ Good Fellas pizza which has an amazing red pepper cream sauce that I’ve fallen in love with. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, this is not the place for you. It’s pretty bare bones right now so I’m looking forward to seeing what Ayadi does to this space. What it may lack in esthetics it makes up for it with a great staff, outstanding food, and an owner that truly loves what he does. I am visiting this place at least once a week and I’m never disappointed! If you haven’t gone yet, don’t hesitate.

Alright I got a Smoking Goodfella’s pizza there and it was unique and pretty good. 5 Stars good? Not quite but I will order again. I wish they would put more toppings on because while the pizza may be 15″, the area with actual toppings was only 10″. That means each slice has 2.5″ of crust at the edge. I think the problem here is that they have a good recipe, but the help they hired couldn’t care any less about the business. Oh, and those pics with the fancy looking restaurant… those are not from their San Francisco restaurant! The actual place looks very bare, with white walls and plain tables. Sorry Ayadi, gotta keep you honest.

Not the greatest service in the world. I’m not sure if these other people have never had good pizza, if there’s just no good food spots around to compare to(this is true) or if this place offered them a freebie or good deal if they’d write a good review on Unilocal.Definitely need to work on service though! My co-workers and I went here today there was a «grand opening» sign. We thought it was a «by-the-slice» joint, which would have been AWESOME for lunchtime, but unfortunately it is by the pie only, which worked out in the end because there were 4 of us. They have heroes, salads, garlic bread, and pizza — a pretty wide selection. We got the following dishes: + Strawberry Salad — which they ran out of spinach??? They substituted mixed green salad(clearly purchased from Safeway across the street because they left out the box and everything!). Pretty good, but they didn’t actually wash the leaves before serving it. The dressing was some concoction of honey, mustard, and vinaigrette which was very tasty. + Large Pizza Half mushroom & half prosciutto — Not too bad. Crust was okay, not enough cheese, and not enough prosciutto… but good mushrooms — Garlic Bread — DONOTORDER!!! It’s a waste of $ because it looks like a little kid just threw some garlic on top, stuck it in the oven and burnt it. See the pictures because this garlic bread was worse than homemade! What restaurant chain actually serves burnt bread??? The bathrooms were dirty and old, but mostly dirty. Keep in mind, they just opened up shop like last week, but the service is something they need to work on. A small mom&pop spot, but they need to train their cashiers a little better. We had a Groupon for $ 20 worth of food and when we gave it to the girl, she looked super confused and said she didn’t know how to use it. Guys, if you’re going to have an online deal of some sort, at least tell your employees about it so they will know how to handle the situation. So our order totaled to $ 26 and she was having mad trouble doing the math to deduct $ 20. We ordered all of this to go and it took 30 minutes to make the pizza and salad — the same amount of time as if we had been dining in. The girl said they made extra salad for us, which was really nice, but I’m not sure if I’d have a reason or the time to come back unless it were to try the heroes.

New York Style PIZZA. Outstanding service with Great Food, get 5 stars. I will definitely make Ayadi Pizza my place of choice when it comes to pizza. «Pizza alla Vodka» is what I ordered. It has a superb crust with the right amount of sauce and a nice blend of toppings that’ll put your taste buds in overdrive. Its a must taste!!!

Apparently I have some sort of medical condition where if I don’t eat within 20 minutes of leaving the gym — I want to kill kittens. Given my general fondness for kittens, I am always curious to try restaurants in the 2 blocks between the gym and my condo. Ayadi just opened up and I couldn’t be more excited. They were still setting up shop tonight when I stopped by. Ordered an individual specialty pizza called«Smokin Goodfellas»(or something like that). Some magical combo of sausage, peppers, onions and creamy red pepper sauce. Perfect crust. While waiting on it, Ayadi offered me a drink on the house and even a slice of the vodka pizza they had made! Also amazing. I cant wait to try the rest. Apparently the whole menu is organic, and I heard there is a berry salad that is exceptional. What may really set this place apart, however, is the people. Ayadi is super friendly and clearly excited about his new spot. He has plans to add all kinds of entertainment as well, from belly dancing to karaōke to movie nights. So I would like to officially welcome Ayadi to the hood. I can see spending quite a bit of time here. I will probably eat so much pizza I will want to go to the gym more. Which will, in turn, lead to more pizza stops afterward. This will likely create a vicious cycle with all sorts of unimaginable consequences. At least the kittens should be safe.

This place just opened a block down from my apartment so I had to check it out. I ordered their Pizza alla Vodka from the«specialty pizzas» section of their menu and was not disappointed. For the most part the pizza was delicious — great crust — though the cheese was a little thick in the middle and drowned out the nice vodka sauce flavor. In general I would have given this place three stars, but they show a ton of potential for being only four days old and I think they deserve an extra star for that. Check this place out! It’s a great new addition to the neighborhood.
