Stuff is pricey but the service here is excellent and so is the free sample of tea!

this isn’t a big store NOR was it busy either. two associates in the store with two customer as well. or two non-associate. The guy was helping with a customer at the cashwrap and the girl was talking to someone else. I walked in and didnt get greeted which is fine, if they were busy with their customer, then of course. The girl finished her conversation and asked if i needed help and i told her that i got a birthday card from Aveda and that i could get a free gift. She gave me this look like, «oh, that…» and she asked if i had done it before and I told her yes but I wasn’t too happy with my scent that I got last time and I wanted more moisture from my lotion. She just told me to pick out the scent that i wanted and let her know when im ready. I wanted something fruity and she didn’t even bother helping me. She walks away and goes back to the person she was talking to at first, which i assumed was a customer, who turns out to be a friend or something she knew. With no help, I just picked something out and handed her what i wanted and she asked me, not in a friendly way BUT nor was she rude, what type of product i wanted, did what she needed to do and said, «well here you go, enjoy!» The last time i had the birthday card, i went to san mateo and the lady gave me a hand massage and walked me through the whole process… so yea, imma be a little disappointed if i didnt get the same treatment… never again will i go back here… ever Worst customer service ever and im saying this NOT as my first experience here

AVEDA hair products ingredients are naturally derived. As much as possible they strive to use natural ingredients like plants, non-petoroleum mineral, and other natural source. I love the idea that I can continue to use their products with minimal concerns of my hair being damage by certain chemicals with long term use. I iron curl or straight and blow dry my hair. Yet despite the abuse, it manages to look healthy, shiny and silky. I get compliments and always love to share some tips. I’d love to say its in the family genes but it’s not. Aveda deserves to get the credit and I’m grateful enough to be the recipient of those compliments. I specifically use the volumizing shampoo and the Smooth Infusion Conditioner because it’s what work best for my oily hair. $ 16 for 250 ml or get the 1 litre for $ 48, a smarter way to do it because it’s more like you are getting the extra 250 ml for free for the amount you paid. If you use their product a lot, I would suggest to apply for their rewards points. Each points has equivalent reward value like Aveda products freebies, $ 50-$ 150 Aveda affiliates Salon/Spa discounts and destination Spa stays. They also have different types of hair products that should meet your hair type or needs, just ask their store employees, they should be able to help you. FYI, they also have products for men.

I went into this store while visiting family in the area because I needed to replace my bottle of toner that broke in my luggage. I’m not sure what is the previous posters problem, because I had the so called«sparrow lady» helping me, and she was nothing but helpful! I ended up buying a new shampoo to try as well– which I love! All of the employees seem super nice, very personable, and like they actually enjoy their jobs! The store smelled yummy and was very well kept… I think the previous customer was the one with the lodged stick– unless there happens to be two«sparrow ladies»?? I will absolutely go back on my next vacation and I hope«SL» is working!

If I could seriously rate this place in the negatives, believe me I would! I went to Aveda to do some shopping and my mom had really wanted a tea tree oil antibacterial soap but they didn’t have the type she was looking for. I didn’t really think of it at the time but the lady – mind you, she was the only one working, was completely disrespectful. I could tell she was biting her lip when my mom had said that there are other tea tree products and this lady was borderline transitioning between professional and unprofessional. I really didn’t think much of it. Then after their conversation my mom brings up a reward she got for being an Aveda member and the lady rings her up for a complimentary product, then my sister and I go ahead and bring it up while my mom walks out and she had the nerve to say, «Did you guys make copies of this or something?» Just the tone of her voice was completely rude! I honestly can’t believe she would say it like that when my family has been a customer here for so long. ANDWEALLHAVEEFFINGSEPARATELIVESANDACCOUNTSSOHOWISTHATPOSSIBLE? It’s really unfortunate that out of all the nice Aveda stores, this one is the sourest one of them all. Let me take myself to a low grade city – where the employee’s don’t have a stick up their ass and talk shit right to the customer’s face. She clearly was assuming and assuming falsely! I hate when people are b*tchy like this. I’m sorry if you hate your job but maybe if you worked at a non-retail job maybe you can start earning respect for yourself rather than be b*tchy towards people who are trying to enjoy their day. So dear Aveda Stores, please go ahead and reprimand this employee with brown hair and a very present sparrow on her right shoulder. I will not be coming back there if I ever see that employee again! Some people need to learn respect. FINALWORD: Aveda has amazing and natural products but please don’t expect the same from this store as they have employees much like this Brunette/tattoo’d sparrow lady!
