It’s true — working without any preconceptions of print making has not hampered me in my success with producing some nice pieces at Aurobora workshops.
The staff assisting with the print making process are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The workshop is chock full of all the supplies you need — just bring your creativity and willingness to dive into print making to the party.
I highly recommend a weekend workshop to start — then move up to a Master Class (series of 5 weekend workshops). The Master Class gives you the time and space repetition to really go deep with your work.
There is also a showroom with many beautiful monotype pieces displayed for sale. Michael Liener, the owner of the Aurobora Press and Gallery is wonderful to work with.
