Aurelio was great! I had a remodel in the city and he was very helpful, responsive, nice and very reasonable. Also, very, very professional — he knows engineering, having worked for a big company for many decades before being on his own. I was scared a bit to use him. My only referral was Jennifer’s above, and that is three years old. Plus, i tis only one referral. It was a good risk. I highly recommend him for structural engineering.

OK, so this guy is a structural engineer that I found on Craigslist. He did drawings for me for a fireplace I wanted to put into my house. Now, mind you, I’d been told by every person around that SF hasn’t given a permit for a new fireplace (a real one, not one of the LCD looking numbers) in over 22 years. Aurelio was fabulous… he came promptly, took all sorts of very technical looking data, drew up excellent plans, all for only ²⁄₃ of his original quote, which I had already thought was low! And I got the permit! Maybe that’s because I’m very skilled at the manipulation of city employees, having run a business for quite a while here in SF (which mainly has to do with just being really nice to them, what a concept). But maybe it was his excellent work. So if you need a structural engineer for your project, this is your guy.
