Ashley Preston

San Francisco, you’re lucky to have Ashley ! She literally transformed my (ultra) thin and lifeless hair into what I’ve always wanted– strong locks and the perfect cut. Not only did Ashley restore my hair, but she was able to give me the best ombré EVER without using a lick of bleach. Im with a new stylist that Ashley referred me to when she left New York (and do love the new girl), but I miss Ashley’s honest gift for cutting/​coloring/​styling hair. You name it, this girl can achieve it!

San Fran is lucky to have Ashley! Since she moved I haven’t gotten my hair done — I’m going through withdrawal. I’d been going to Ashley for 4 years in NYC and my hair is so much better for it. I came to Ashley with lifeless, broken blond tresses and I was desperate to improve the quality of my hair. Ashley introduced me to Great Lengths extensions and they were a miracle! The way she did them they always lasted longer than estimated and she was able to make them look completely natural. Lo and behold, Ashley’s prediction came true. The extensions IMPROVED the quality of my hair and and I now have a much healthier mane. I can even keep it long without looking thin and damaged! She never pressured me to keep the extensions in and helped me transition to a cut/​color schedule that is extremely grow-​out friendly and low maintenance. Bottom line — Ashley is honest, talented and a fun person to spend a few hours with for some pampering. She does great men’s cuts too!

I’ve been going to Ashely for almost five years now and I think her talents are unmatched! She has that rare gift of being able to do both superb color AND cut, which we all know is hard to find. Ashley never rushes you and always takes the time to listen to what you want. And she really knows hair– she has tons of experience and stays on top of all the trends so when she gives me advice or a suggestion, I can trust she knows what she’s doing. When I wanted to go short, Ashley was super supportive and gave me the BEST haircut ever. It was exactly what I wanted and very stylish– I couldn’t have been happier. And her color last for MONTHS, she never tried to talk me into doing something that would require more upkeep than I can handle. And that’s because Ashley is a genuine person. She is kind and thoughtful and truly cares about her clients. I always look forward to my appointments with her, because I know I’ll come out looking and feeling ten times better than when I stepped in!

I hate gettin’ ma hair did. But not by Ashley. She is not only extremely talented she makes the entire experience fun and comfortable. She is a super nice person and I’ve been seeing her for almost 4 years. Never had a better colorist. Then once she finally cut my hair… Jeez all the compliments I got. Even my family said something about my new do. She is also very open to creative styles like when I do half black half blonde or the dreaded messy manic panic green.
