Dr. Afifi is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He takes the time to explain every detail of your care and answer any questions. He is courteous, kind, and patient. In addition, he’s backed by an incredible staff. Carmen is super responsive over email and handles all insurance questions. If that wasn’t enough, when you’re in the chair, you can throw on some noise canceling headphones and watch Hulu, HBO Go, Netflix, etc. Doesn’t really get better than that!

I’ve gone through literally half a dozen dentists in the past ten years, ranging from pretty great, to pretty terrible, to borderline scam artists. I think I’ll stick with Dr. Afifi. Courteous, professional, by far the best office environment I’ve encountered (it makes a huge difference for keeping appointments low-​stress), and doesn’t overtreat. And having gone through dentists with a range of aptitude, I can tell he really knows his stuff and does great work.
Of course, being a pretty cool guy who knows his cars never hurts in my book.

Since moving to the Bay Area, it has been a struggle to find a dentist. However, I’m happy to say that my search is now over.
Dr. Afifi is very professional and will go out of his way to accommodate your busy schedule. I went in for a cleaning which was quick, easy, and painless. He was extremely thorough in his work and my teeth still feel clean months later. Don’t put off your dental health any longer– go see Dr. Afifi!

After recently switching to Dr. Afifi from my prior dentist of many years I am very impressed with his attention to details and level of professionalism. When you walk into the practice it’s clean, modern and is relaxing. This theme continues to having a great view of Union Square and a TV to distract you during work. They have all the latest equipment, digital X-​rays and Dr. Afifi constantly makes sure you’re comfortable. I’d highly recommend giving his practice a try, I’m sure like myself you’ll end up switching!

Great Dentist! Very gentle, no pain. Got a teeth cleaning and x-​Ray and was able to fit in a filling on the same visit. Amazing view of union square from the chair.
