We found this place randomly while we were there for a sports event. The food was fantastic. I mean, really great. Croissant French toast, pork bellyeggs Benedict, a carnitas chillaquilles And the prices were really good. The outdoor seating area was lovely. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars was the service was HORRIBLE. It took forever and other tables around us were complaining, too. And they didn’t seem Too concerned about it. We have been there twice now and both times it was the same. But, the food is really, really good. Just expect poor service.

What a wonderful treasure on Treasure Island! This was my second visit to Arecely. The service has improved with smiles and refilled coffee cups and follow up attention. The food remains top notch. The short ribs were flavorful«melt off the bone» tender, the sides of sweet potato gratin and grilled zukes just as delicious. The Benedict eggs were poached perfectly, runny egg yolks, tangy Hollandaise, and sweet pork belly over a crisp but buttery muffin. Yum! I loved our cornmeal waffles with Nutella whipped cream– not overly sweet but tasty with a crusty texture. The outdoor seating is very pleasant and family oriented and the interior just as comfortable and well appointed. As the café becomes more popular I can see where more staff will be necessary. I hope this will be taken into consideration. I definitely will be back to experience all the other menu items. The pastry on the counter top looked very enticing.

This a great little restaurant. Located on San Francisco’s Treasure Island it’s a short hop from SF or from the East Bay. Unique local ingredients and a kitchen that is always dependable. Along with a beautiful open air garden space this is a destination restaurant. No dinner yet but I couldn’t think of a better place to spend a beautiful weekend for brunch. To walk off a filling meal it’s not too far get the best views of San Francisco in San Francisco. On a weekday morning if you are lucky enough to get there early for fresh out of the oven scones you will think you are in heaven, and there are places on Treasure Island that will convince you that you are.

Best option for a weekday stop for breakfast or lunch on TI. Good quality food and a menu with fresh ingredients and Sightglass Coffee. Offers beer as well, but not on tap. Why it’s not 5 stars: Closes at 2pm, wifi often not working, and service can be slow

If you don’t mind waiting 800 years then its great. When we ordered it was after the lunch rush. Pretty dead. No one inside and only one other table outside. It took so long for someone to come to our table to take our order(20 min) that we walked in to ask if we needed to order at the register. Even after they said they come to your table, it took another 5 minutes for them to come. I asked if the au gratin had flour and he disappeared for another 5+ minutes to ask the chef. When he finally came back we ordered our food. Time ticked on. After 20 minutes I asked if it was coming soon. He said yes. After another 10, I asked for him to make it to go because we were now 50 min in and late. From that point it still took another 10 minutes. I gave him my card to run and he disappeared. I walked in to see if the food was ready and to ask where my card went and the women at the front was chatting with a friend and said, «oh I was looking for you!» I told her I’ve been sitting at the same table for the past 45+ minutes. When we finally got our food to go. We went off with it and discovered they only gave us one set of utensils. So boo. The food was good though. But the service was so bad. I’ll stick with the food trucks.

The service here is nose diving hard and you can see the consistency of it in the reviews. My partner who is an executive chef in SF and I live on Treasure Island and come here just about every weekend for brunch. This is the fourth time now that our server Linda and the kitchen has either messed up our orders, completely forgotten something or ignored us most of the time because she clearly can’t multitask and prioritize table service well. It’s getting ridiculous. We make great money and tip well — does Aracely not want more money from us that we’re ready and willing to throw at them for more than one drink? A side dish? Some dessert? Because by the slow to complete lack of attentiveness to tables it doesn’t seem Aracely wants more money from people. Or was socializing with the local firemen at the bar a higher priority while we and other tables around us waited for service? Today was the worst and a complete shitshow of errors too. First the table next to us got one of their orders wrong. Then we got one of our orders with a completely different side that wasn’t ordered. Then a third table on the opposite side of us got their order wrong with something they didn’t order. Then a fourth table at the far end of our row never got what they ordered! FOURTABLESIN A ROW all got their orders screwed up! But the terrible service didn’t end there. Since I was clearly never getting asked if I wanted a refill of my first drink, we sat there patiently waiting for our check. I shit you not every single table around us got their check. Even two tables who came in AFTER us long after we originally ordered got their checks and was able to leave. Then a bunch of people of about 7 or so arrived and lined up at the bar and were getting serviced while we continued to wait for a check!!! Are you f’ing kidding me Linda?! Can you not prioritize your customers at all?! At that point we were so pissed off that we just walked up to the register and asked for a check. That’s when we got it. Geez! The whole experience was torture and makes me likely to turn around and walk out if she’s ever working a shift again. My partner who’s an executive chef and manages four restaurants and kitchens said, «She seems like a very sweet and timid lady, but she can’t multitask, remember orders and remain attentive well enough as a server when under pressure. She really needs retrained.» Lastly, if Aracely is too understaffed and busy then perhaps being more mindful of the busy weekends and events on the island and STAFFUP during those times. Because you guys also cater and there is NOEXCUSE why there is consistently slow service and table attentiveness issues both on and off busy times. If I were a business looking to use your establishment for catering and saw how the regular business was run I’d take my money far away until the issues above were resolved.

What a surprise to stumble upon Aracely today while waiting for our son’s rugby game to begin. We were running late due to traffic and needed to eat close to the field but never expected to find Aracely. Wasn’t here last year. Needed the food to go. Hubby ordered the turkey sandwich with potato salad. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with the cauliflower. Oh my gosh, we both kept saying to one another while eating«this is really delicious… who’d have expected this on Treasure Island?» Seriously, we both thought it was very tasty and the portion was just right as was the price. Could be the tastiest cauliflower I’ve ever had. Décor and ambience wonderful. Super cute place. Sort of seems odd that it is where it is. Oh well, we loved it and can’t wait till our next trip to Treasure Island so we can come back!

Went here after going to a Cars and Coffee meet here on treasure island. My girlfriend and I were hungry after the meet and was happy this place was close by. I got the burger which was pretty decent and same goes for my girlfriends roast beef sandwich. I would say the food was a bit better than average and overall good for the price. However, i feel the portions were a little small and could have eaten another burger with ease and i don’t consider myself as a person that eats a lot. The reason I am giving this place three stars is because the service was really slow. It took 15 minutes before we could order and another 40 minutes before the food came out. On the upside, service was friendly. This is s good place to stop by if you are in treasure island but its definitely not a must go to place by any means. Just expect to wait for your food.

Not sure if I came on a good day or what, but my server was super attentive. He came and asked me if I needed anything else 3 times before the food actually came out. I love how intimate this place is, ample parking, and and the food is DELICIOUS. Omg… the chilaquiles, the side of potatoes, the BACON… so delicious. Ooo and the raspberry scones are on point. Love this hidden gem. Wish I could make the trekk to the island more often.

The food here is so, so good. Everything I’ve had is delicious! Try the turkey sandwich. Amazing. But the service is beyond confusing. There are a lot of employees yet seemingly none are where you need them to be at any moment in time. I have no idea who does what when I’m there. 4 different people may or may not take your order. There is an odd line at the bar area for coffee and tea but the line just snakes into the restaurant. Is it a restaurant? Or a café? Who are you supposed to ask about where to sit? The waiters walk right by you if you just stand at the front of the restaurant. And while the staff is nice they’re completely frenetic and discombobulated. They could really use some help with process. Like I said, the food is awesome. The bad experience isn’t a typical poor service one, it’s just confusing a not really relaxing as a result.

A hidden gem on Treasure Island that’s definitely worth the trip. Excellent service, amazing food(the roast beef sandwich and pork belly benedict with jalapeño hollandise are stand outs) and tons of free parking. A worthy addition to the rest of the great food in San Francisco.

Food I would rate a solid 3(OK, but not worth the trip to TI), but the service wholeheartedly sucked. Staff was basically nice, but astonishingly under-trained. Very slow, inattentive, and lacked knowledgable about even the basics of their small menu and beverage offerings. I think the kitchen gets overwhelmed very easily as it appeared to be only low/moderately busy, yet it still took them over an hour to serve two dishes(total) to our table of two. Drink order was totally forgotten. Bottle of water was served without glasses. After 15 – 20 minutes, I went into the counter to ask for these items. The counter-person didn’t even acknowledge me, nor the small line of five or six that formed behind me while I was standing there, and she just walked off to chat with a table for five minutes or so before I just gave up and returned to my own table. Other tables around us received wrong orders, missing dishes, drinks, and a couple even got up and left because nobody paid any attention to them after about ten minutes. I expected this place to be chill, but not borderline-apathetic

The food was a solid five stars, but the subpar service took one star away. Let’s start with the good parts. This venue is gorgeous. Perfect for a private event, intimate Sunday brunch, or casually hanging out with a group of friends. There is plenty of outdoor seating on lounge furniture, as well as some indoor seating. My friends and I chose to sit outdoors, which was a good choice on a sunny Sunday afternoon on Treasure Island. I can never resist the option of Eggs Benedict on a breakfast menu, especially when it has pork belly in it. Whose idea was that? Genius. Would definitely recommend that dish. I also had their Bloody Mary which was also good. Too much ice but still good. Their whole menu sounds tasty, and I would come here again to try their salads and omelettes. Now for the clueless waiter that was serving us. Poor guy seemed like he was running the entire outdoor section, so it took us forever to order food and receive it. I even had to hunt him down to pay the bill because he disappeared for a long time. We were probably better off sitting inside the café because they seem more attentive to those guests. But aside from that, I had an enjoyable time here and would even describe the cuisine as one of the culinary treasures of Treasure Island.

This hidden gem is just that! A styley spot where we were able to walk in at 11:30 on a Saturday and have a delicious brunch without waiting. Shhh don’t tell anyone about this place! The fried egg sandwich was delicious despite that I wasn’t a fan of the biscuit it was served on. The place is kid friendly, and there’s a cute playground right across the street to work off those fried egg sandwich calories! Minus one star because the coffee was poorly made – grounds floating on the top. Too bad, because it’s Sightglass coffee.

I honestly love this little piece of heaven on Treasure Island. They offer a small menu of amazing and diverse dishes and drinks. So far everything is on par. They even offer some nice vegetarian substitutes. My favs so far have got to be the Apple Juice which is puréed to perfection. The French toast, and their amazing rice pudding which can almost double as a rice cereal/pudding since it’s hot and hearty. Among my not so greats would be the egg Benedict which is amazing don’t get me wrong but the hollandaise sauce can use some work. The again, I’ve had friends who thought it was amazing. A fav among everyone I have noticed is the burger. Which I have to agree is quite yummy. The service is always friendly. Very sweet girls with bubbly personalities. There is outdoor and indoor seating, among which include amazing chairs and lounge couches with throw pillows everywhere. Very homey. All in all this is my place of choice for a relaxing breakfast or brunch without the hustle and bustle in the city. I’ll be back again for sure.

By far the best place to eat on the island. Amazing breakfast. Favorites so far: Salmon and broccoli pancakes — light and delicious Kale shake — so good(kind of wish they had a bigger size) People who work at the café are genuine and kind. I don’t recommend going there if you are in a hurry.

I was excited to find a cozy breakfast spot on Treasure Island, an otherwise very lackluster island full of abandoned buildings. Our experience at Aracely went from great to poor over the course of our meal. The good: Great décor, especially the patio on a sunny day. The bad: Aloof service with no smiles and portions that are a bit smaller than their prices warrant. Would have given this place 4 stars if it weren’t for the poor service. Please start smiling at your patrons, I swear it will go a long way for your business!

I really would like to give this place 3.5, but I rounded up because the few criticisms I have I felt were more isolated events. First, if you haven’t been to Treasure Island, this place gives you the perfect opportunity to make the trip on a nice SF summer day. Views of the SF cityscape will hit you on your way to this obscure location. It’s actually a nice little weekend adventure if you have the time. The food here is pretty good. I can’t say it’s the best because while some items really blew me away, other’s left me underwhelmed. Let’s start with the bad news first. The chilaquiles were forgettable, and frankly, left me wondering if I made this drive for nothing. That being said, luckily I also ordered croissant french toast. Holy guacamole, croissant french toast are my new favorite. These things are frickin’ amazing. If you come here, make sure you get them. It is literally the only thing I want you to take away from this review haha. The atmosphere was fantastic. Modern-chic and airy with a wine-countryesq design. It gives you a nice break from the city architecture. Aracely looks like a great spot to host a private party or event. The service was a bit disappointing. There was a large event going on while we were there, and it seemed like they were understaffed and it showed. Wait times and service just weren’t up to par, and I wish that they had shut the entire restaurant down if they couldn’t handle the volume. But, all things considered, Aracely was great, and I definitely plan to make another trip out here again!
