I found Amy online due to her great reviews and am SO glad I grabbed her for my wedding! She did my hair (bride) and two bridesmaids and the mother of the groom. She’s patient, creative, funny and easy to work with. At my trial, she looked at a few pictures and got to work! Because she’s so easy to be around, it flew by like nothing! We discussed things to do differently and then worked out the details of the wedding contract. GREAT PRICING!
Even after I left, she would email me with new ideas or how she could improve my hairdo. When she arrived that wedding morning, she was early, had her own coffee ready and set up right on time! Each of us was EXTREMELY happy with what she did and like I’ve already mentioned, she’s easy to talk to and has great customer service.
Hire her — you won’t be disappointed! I’ll start going to her for my regular hair styling appointments now too! :)

I’m extremely picky about my hairstylist, seeing how I’ve had some pretty traumatic experiences since high school. So, when I found Amy a few years back, I was ecstatic and have been going to her ever since. Let me tell you, she knows hair. Not only does she listen to exactly what you want, she also takes your hair, face and lifestyle into consideration for every cut. Amy is incredibly talented at what she does. In all the years I’ve been a client, I’ve never had a bad or even a so-​so haircut from her — she always does a stellar job. She is also an excellent listener and communicator, which is really important in a hair stylist. She never rushes me out the door in order to start on another client; she always takes the time to make sure I’m completely happy with my hair. Her prices are very reasonable, especially considering her expertise and attention to detail. I can’t recommend Amy highly enough!

I have been a client of Amy’s since 2006 and hope to still be a client in 2066. Recently Amy took me from long hair to short. I was coveting a short-​fun-​stylish look (think Halle Barry) and expressed my wishes to Amy. My boyfriend who thought he was a long hair man converted to a short hair man once he saw my new cut and style from Amy. I love my hair! In fact I always love my hair after a trip to Amy’s sunny studio in the Sunset district.

I got a recommendation from a makeup artist at Nordstroms to go see her.
I called her and went in for the first time. I was nervous, as I was pregnant with my first child and needed some advice about hair coloring while pregnant. Amy was so helpful~ She gave me advice and helped me look fantastic throughout my pregnancy. She does not rush you out of your appointment and spends a lot of time making sure you are happy with your hair colr. The best part about Amy, outside of her obvious talent with haircare, is that she is so sweet. When I was 35 weeks pregnant (I had 5 weeks to go), Amy CAME TO MY HOUSE and did my hair color because I was on unexpected bed rest before the baby was born. She hung out with me and my big belly before I gave birth-​How cool is that?
Amy is wonderful and I can’t wait to see her again now that my son has been born.

Best hair stylist EVER! Tell Amy what you want and she will do exactly what you ask. She pays attention to every detail, is very organized and one of the nicest people I know. And she has the best memory — she remembers stories I told her 4 years ago! I only trust my hair in Amy’s hands.

I have followed Amy 2 times over the years — now she is running her salon out of the lower level of her home.

treatments which is life changing! And her prices are still reasonable and competitive.
Now that I am living in Washington, DC — I am planning trips to CA just so I can schedule appointments with Amy.
