I was drunk. I ordered a dutch crunch something with avocado. it saved my life. **edit** Just confirmed it was a Chicken bacon avocado sandwich on sourdough. OMG.

Work is not far from this place so I usually come here because it’s convenient and its 24⁄7. I can’t say much because the only thing on the menu I order is the Philly cheese steak, nothing else and this was recommended by a co-worker which was not as bad as I thought it would be. Be cautious late night, random crazies tend to hang around and cause a ruckus.

Pretty crappy service. I ordered an everything bagel with avocado, which took about 10 minutes to come out – when several customers who had come in after me got their food before me. They messed up my order, too, and gave me a sesame bagel instead of the everything bagel I had ordered. Not a huge deal, but they didn’t offer to fix it right away, instead just asked if I minded the different bagel, which I took because I had been waiting so long already. Wouldn’t go here except for the convenience and lack of affordable & quick bagel/breakfast joints in the area.

#neveragain Not only was they’re donuts more than day old looking and they are expensive for what they were. The young guy working the register had to argue and fight with an older disabled homeless man. He stated that the older man was bring out the Brooklyn in him. Puh! Twice he left the store to argue and get physical with the older and obviously not well homeless man. Never again will I purchase anything from that store. Our city doesn’t need that kind of aggression over coffee and old pastried. I never need«Drama» with my snacks.

It looks like a donut shop from the outside yet they also have a full kitchen. The guys working the counter are great, the food comes out fast and the quality/price is very reasonable. The resturant is located very close to the county welfare building, usually theres a crazy person or two performing outside the window.

Crummy part of town with crummy price hikes for things that should be free(bagel with butter vs bagel with cream cheese $ 2 differential!!) But great sandwiches

I wouldn’t bring a date here but you can definitely impress the boys with the best 24⁄7 place to eat in the SOMA, even though it’s on the north side of Market street. The five stars is based solely on that its a great late night place to eat in SF.

This stretch of Market really attracts the riffraff. Anyway, it’s 4a and I can have a BLT with egg, but not bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It’s the same amount of effort, I don’t understand.

Staff is cordial, takes cc and cash, and open 24⁄7 which is huge. Tried a pork bun, which was microwaved and hard with questionable meat, definitely dont recommend. All the pastries looked average at best. The sandwiches though are solid, got the new Grilled Oriental Chicken, essentially a chicken banh mi. Little too much mayo, but bread was toasted perfectly and priced decently. Definitely recommend a hot sandwich if you find yourself here.

I am a regular there for coffee, today decided to step it up and order a couple of donuts and a tuna sandwich. The staff is very cordial and mannerly, it just seemed that keeping track of the orders was a challenge. I ordered… paid, then a young lady looked at me as if I were loitering and asked me ‘what would you like’ mind you she had asked me that just minutes earlier. Then I had to remind them I paid, as i got no receipt, and the very cordial young man… o yeah you paid sorry. I get it was busy, but on the corner of Market street you have to know that’s going to happen. But the prompt response of a veteran there in squaring things up, makes this a place you should try.

Went here this morning to purchase 3 dozen of donuts for my coworkers in this ‘Random Acts of Kindness Week’ The lady preparing my order wiped her nose with her gloved hand that was handling my food. I asked her in a shocking manner ‘Did you just wipe your hand on your nose? I then responded ‘I Don’t Think So! And walked out! How Disgusting!

This is a quick and easy option for a bite while you’re waiting for your Honda to be serviced across the street. Lots of doughnuts, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches await! This is great especially when the more upscale eateries in Hayes Valley aren’t open yet on a Saturday morning.

Awful awful awful! I think the worst place to eat in SF. I have eaten at quite a few spots in the city and this is the first one that turned my stomach. I had a pastrami on rye and it was extremely greasy and tough and chewy. As I was trying to chew it I felt something stringy in my mouth. I pulled out what looked like string or plastic or something very stringy. I only took two bites and pulled these strings out of both bites. That was it. Two bites and I couldn’t eat another bite. I’m a big guy and I can eat almost anything and a lot of it and I couldn’t put anymore of this, whatever it was, in my mouth.

Love this place! On Saturdays, I have a hella busy work schedule across the street at the SFCM, but on the rare occasion I can break away for a 5 min coffee break, this is my go to place. They are super efficient, super cheap, super friendly, and have really strong coffee and fresh delicious donuts. My only complaint is that the building is way over due for an update… like plastic surgery grade makeover. But other than that, I wouldn’t make it through my Saturdays with out this place!

All star is a great place. Open all the time. Great food. Takes credit cards too! And they accept orders ahead of time via Square. Awesome.

This is a convenient place for lunch near my office. I usually just order the Tuna Salad Sandwich, which is a big enough sandwich at $ 5.75 and it comes with a small bag of chips. Donuts galore! I’ve been able to withstand the temptation of getting them. But I did give in one time for a Pecan bar, which was surprisingly good. Quick service. It’s not the best spot to sit and enjoy, so just order and leave.

Great deal — $ 5.00 for an egg salad sandwich w/a small bag of chips. The sandwich came out to be quite large. Smooth texture and fresh veggies. They also have a large selection of donuts/pastries along w/a menu of Asian food/lunch items.

People can hate on All Star all they want. But if you lived on Market St, and this was your only close and affordable late night food option, you would love All Star too. If this wasn’t 24 hours, it would definitely only be a 3 star establishment. Doughnuts: You cannot go wrong with the doughnuts. My personal favorite is the vanilla cake with chocolate icing and rainbow sprinkles. Airy, fluffy, fresh, and only $ 1. There are plenty of different kinds ranging from $ 1-$ 2. Yes, there are sometimes flies in the cases, but these doughnuts are worth it. BLT w/Chips: Shockingly good. The BLT comes with plenty of thick bacon, with fresh L&T, and the bread is always the best part. Fresh and chewy. Just a standard bag of chips, but the price is reasonable. Bagel with Cream Cheese: DON’T GETIT. This was the only terrible thing I ate here. Just go to Safeway and buy a bagel with cream cheese. This is what the Manhattan food vendors at 42nd St feed tourists. It’s a cheap soggy bagel with a slab of processed cream cheese product. Disgusting. Drinks: There are a ton of different drinks to chose from, and they’re priced close to the same as Walgreens across the street. ATM: They do have an ATM, but a friend said that the surcharge was terrible. The homeless people do panhandle inside here or right at the door. Some of the workers try to deter them, but just get your food and put that cash away.
