We had an outstanding experience with Alex Clark listing and selling our Noe Valley /​Glen Park Victorian. He is highly knowledgable, extremely patient and most importantly endowed with great instincts about how to handle the complex and challenging real estate market of San Francisco. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Responsive, timely, friendly, trustworthy — words I would use to describe Alex. As a first-​time home buyer I knew very little about the process, but Alex advised me to ask the right questions to get everything that was on my list. Alex is savvy about the SF real estate market and goes the extra mile for his clients. My decision to buy and use Alex in the process were the two of the best decisions I’ve made while living in SF.

As a first time homebuyer, I was very nervous and had questions about everything (pricing, inspections, closing process, etc) but Alex was professional, considerate, supportive, and he promptly responded to all my questions and guided me throughout the entire process.
I’ve worked with a few other real estate agents and I picked Alex because of his speed (and pretty much ²⁴⁄₇ service), attention to details (he reads everything), and most importantly, he is a great negotiator and would fight to get what’s best for me.
A few other things about Alex that impressed me:
He is well-​connected in the industry so he is a great source of information. He understands quickly what I like. When the market is hot and every day matters (we’re living in an era where someone can get in contract and close within a few days), it’s really important to find an agent who understands the client and the market inside-​out, so that you are presented with the right properties and not waste time. Alex would zoom in to do research, figure out how competitive each individual property is, and go over details and comps to make sure that I’m prepared with information I need to make a solid winning offer.
I met Alex at an open house that he was hosting, there was a line just to talk to him. But he was patient and answered every single question from every person, and then it was my turn and we chatted. After that, it took a few emails and he got it. Recommended me exactly what I was looking for and helped me snatch it.
I would recommend Alex without hesitation. In fact, he has already helped 3 of my friends to buy and sell houses (and a few more at the moment).
Buying and selling properties is stressful, why not find an agent that you like to do it all for you whilst you go surfing, golfing, or sailing?

Alex helped us buy our condo in San Francisco. Not an easy task! He was incredibly knowledgeable of the city and its very different neiborhoods. When we finally found the place, he took care of absolutely everything, making the whole process very easy on us. If it wasn’t for Alex our stress level would have been way higher… We are definetely using his services again in the future!

You know those stereotypical real estate agents? Fairly shady, and just looking to collect their commission? Alex is the opposite. He helped us buy our house with another party bidding on it at the same time. Bids were the same, we got it! Whew. He’s super knowledgeable and very upfront about the buying/​bidding process and guided us through everything. We’re never selling, but if we did, Alex would obviously be our guy.

Alex is an outstanding broker and an unparalleled ally in the super competitive world of SF real estate. He has an extraordinary knowledge of San Francisco real estate and uses it to the maximum benefit of his clients. He is personal, thoughtful and engaging with clients — he worked really hard to understand what we wanted to to help us find it. He is responsive and diligent — available whenever you need him and he gets the job done. Alex was so helpful to us when we moved to SF from New York — he helped us understand the landscape and then find and buy exactly what we wanted. We could not have asked for more and it does not get better.

Alex is fabulous. He’s super knowledgeable, personable, completely reliable, responsive, honest, thorough and on your side. Also very smart. He’s the guy you want. I found him through a web search while living in Seattle and working on a relocation to SF. Stumbled onto his blog and figured that the person writing that blog was the person we wanted on our case to find our house for us. Turns out it was an excellent plan. My husband and I both love him and 4 years later still love our house. SF is an insane real estate market and Alex knows it like the back of his hand and knows how to play the game. And win! He might even turn you onto a little gem of a neighborhood you’ve never heard of before, like he did for my cousin. Great, talented guy, has a really
lovely family, and is tops at what he does. Recommend him 100%.

Best in the business. Alex was a pleasure to do business with when we sold our place in SF… in fact Alex has always been a pro even for the last 4 years as we’ve asked him market related questions etc about SF… without paying him a dime for his help… he is just a great guy.
