I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old. The exam that Dr Scott gave me felt antiquated but I was okay with that since maybe he has a lot of experience.
Dr Scott wrote a prescription for contacts. I brought the prescription to Costco and they discovered that Dr Scott wrote down an axis value that is not produced by the contact manufacturer that’s specified on my prescription.
Costco has been calling them everyday for 3 days in a row to get clarification and a valid prescription for me that they can fill. Costco was told that my patient file was messed up so they need the doctor or a specific nurse to confirm what my prescription needs to be. Today they were told that the doctor is not going to be in until Monday…
Here I am stuck with a prescription that doesn’t make any sense and serious concerns about the validity of my eye exam in the first place.
Terrible experience.

Very thorough exam. After spending time in Los Angeles, it’s nice to find a good strabismologist in SF.
