Everything about Aesop is flawless from start to finish. The products are natural, everything smells amazing, the stores are small and the staff is attentive. I came in looking for geranium body oil and I left with the oil, a deodorant and a booklet of samples. It’s definitely a treat but at least it feels like one. I love that they have the sink on the sales floor and actually use it to demo products!

I buy a lot of Aesop products. Love the brand! I usually shop at Barneys New York as I love the sales team there.
Today I was shopping on Fillmore and decided I would stop by the store with my friend and pick up a couple of items.
My friend had never heard of the brand so I was excited to show her their products.
When we entered the male staff member greeted us with a smile and a welcome. He was busy assisting the one customer in the store.
As we walked further in the female staff member was extremely rude and made us feel like we shouldn’t be touching anything and weren’t welcome.
Her tone was so condescending and her face looked liked she needed to go to the bathroom but couldn’t. Total put off.
I truly wanted to stock up on a couple of items but did not want to purchase them from her. So rude.
I will continue to go to Barneys as I have always done and will definitely continue to use my wonderful Aesop products.
But I will not be back to the store on Fillmore and truly think the female sales associate with the glasses needs to get into some kind of Christmas spirit and lighten up. Smile… it won’t kill you.

Very knowledgeable and attentive staff that greet you with a refreshing cup of cucumber water, and can answer any and every question that you might have!

Smells so cleannnnn! The knowledgable staff here took the time to find the right facial products based on my skin type. I was curious to know what sets Aēsop apart from other skincare lines and left with more than enough information that leaves me certain that these products are exactly what I need. Thanks, again!

Beautiful and serene space — it’s like walking into a zen apothecary — the air smells so fresh and everything is so clean and orderly. I’ve never experienced any store like it. On my first visit, I mainly walked in to browse for a new body wash and lotion. I was immediately welcomed and attended to by the sole sales person on duty. Lemuel? I should’ve asked how to spell his name… in any case, he was completely relaxed and patient with me from start to finish. He showed me the options of body wash and lotion — when I chose a scent to try, he brought the products over to the sink and had me try both. It was like being in a spa — I was even given a fresh washcloth vs. a paper towel to dry my skin with. I ended up purchasing not only the body products, but also a shampoo and conditioner and plenty of samples. Loved the cloth bag that everything was presented in too. I’m so impressed with the level of customer service I received, and appreciated that the sales associate was so knowledgable about the entire product line. Makes me want to come back for more regardless of the price — I feel that whatever I use here is a necessary luxury. Thank you Aesop!

Recognized the packaging but not the brand… We wandered in here because it looked cool and smelled amazing! You could get lost with all the options in this store. It was a bit overwhelming. but the sales assistant Lemeiux (sp?) was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and full of suggestions. He graciously offered to give us a few samples with a «bible» of products and what they are good for. I am curious to see how things work for me and my skin and will absolutely be back if there is something I love. Fabulous experience and will absolutely be back!

Aesop is a skin care line based out of Australia with stores located throughout the world. They recently opened their first West Coast store here on Fillmore street in San Francisco. Last week while walking by with friends, a few of us were taken aback by the amazing smell coming from here. Combinations of cardamom, citrus, sandalwood etc, are infused into skin care products for men and women. The woman working here was very nice and knowledgeable about the products, and offered to match us with specific products based on our skin type. She also sent us away with a few samples of rosemary leaf and cedar hand balm. Smells sooo good!
