A legit neighborhood bar with reasonable prices and fast service. The place can get loud on a football afternoon but that is part of the fun. It is a New York bar, so if any NY teams are on you will find them on the TVs. Also, it is a Wisconsin bar so if the Badgers are playing on a Saturday in the fall or in March Madness, swing in for drink specials during the game.

Sunday football review right here, so don’t roll up on a Tuesday at 9pm and expect the same experience. That being said… I love this bar. And yes, I’m from NY. And yes, I came to watch a NYG/NYJ game. Feel free to call me biased, bc I totally am. SF is a bit foreign to me so when I can find a bar that feels like home, I’m a happy man. There’s an overall divey feel here and it seems like you can both get your drink on with a crew or roll up solo and still have a good time. There are a ton of 24⁄7 drink specials and then also specific Sunday specials. Word is on nicer days there’s a BBQ with meats being passed around free of charge, but I can’t confirm that firsthand. Either way, perfect place to come to watch NY sports while in the bay area. Bonus points: you can drink in a pair of seats from the old Yankee Stadium

A New York bar, nothing fancy, no annoying music, bartenders are down to earth, and the frozen Irish coffees are great. I love that huge open window they have, at a small bar like that it makes the room feel much bigger than it really is.

I always enjoy a bar that opens at 6AM. I was pleasantly surprised that this joint was just a half a block away from my hotel. I enjoyed two nights there watching the World Series. The place is dark, the bud light is cheap, friendly bartenders, cool people watching from the window. Stop on by and have a cold one!!!

Bartenders are cool, drink prices are reasonable and the crowd is full of NY sports fans. What’s not to love! Must try the frozen Irish coffee — be warned it has equal amounts of caffeine and alcohol so you’ll be a wide awake drunk.

It’s a GIANTS bar! of course I will give it 5 stars. Nothing fancy, very New Yorky, kinda like a bar you would find in the East Village. There are enough TVs in the small room so you have a good view anywhere you are. The bartenders are great! Fast, Friendly, Cool.

Man, I could ramble, but the bottom line is these shitheads are the best and their bar is the tops. Friendly, quick with a joke or to light up your smoke, and idiots. It’s the perfect San Francisco transplant combination.

Dawg, this bar is so dope! Where else is it lit at 7−8am? Gotta love your good old dive bar, as I’ve grown to appreciate as I’ve gotten older opposed to those wanna be fancy clubs full top tier douchebags. The older gentleman behind the bar, you can truly tell he loves his job which is rare to come across nowadays.

This is a cool, local dive bar that has NY roots so be prepared for that. Good place to hang if you are staying nearby or stop in for a nightcap after a concert walking back to hotel.(That was a long night!) the bartenders were nice every tin we were there and the place definitely has a local crowd, but if you are nice enough they are nice to you.

Decided to stop in here since we are pretty big NY fans. Really only gave a slight NY vibe. Drinks, service were good but I cant say there was much that really made this a GIANTS place to me besides a little décor.

Decent place to grab a brew, bartender was nice enough. We were waiting for our friend to get out of the hospital so this was right down the street. Apparently you can buy a keg here and share it with your friends??? We made plans to come back. They also have many sports programs playing and a few board games.

The new keg table at Ace’s is a must try when getting a group together to watch a game! I recently reserved the keg table for a few of the Giants World Series games, inviting 15 – 20 friends to join the party. To start, the Aces staff was great, ensuring our area is reserved and roped off, had cups, pitchers of water, etc. Depending on your group size, Aces can definitely accommodate… whether it’s just booking the keg table area, adding on the four stadium seats(2 Yankee &2 Shea Stadium seats), or even adding the large round table with seating for ~10. You’re then able to pick the right keg size(5 gallon, 7.75 gallon, 15.5 gallon) for your group and the kind of beer you’d like to consume. Not only do you have your own area to hangout, drink and watch the game with your friends… but, during those busy sporting events(like the World Series), your group does not have to worry about battling the crowd for a beer, and can instead pour an ice cold beer straight from the tap. Add on a few delivery pizza’s and your night is complete :) This is definitely a new and unique way to watch a game with friends and I would highly recommend it to others!

Is it loud and crowded and full of folks watching sports? Absolutely. Was it amazing to be miles and miles from home but to walk into a bar full of fellow Badger fans to watch the first game of the season? Youbetcha. Sure, the Badgers lost, but the comeraderie and the knowledge that LSU didn’t have anything like that happening in the Bay area was good enough for me.

If you are a Football Giants fan, then Ace’s the place. Not so much Baseball Giants, as this bar is New York in heart — and seat, with the most noticeable feature is four Yankee Stadium seats with their own bar top and view of a tv. If you aren’t any of these things, than Ace’s is just a great dive bar with plenty of TVs and $ 6 drink specials. I got the invite to watch the USA-Portugal match, and the place was packed but not overflowing. The atmosphere was very positive. Though the single bartender seemed a bit swamped, he was doing a great job keeping drinks flowing. So if looking for a cheap place to watch a game on the weekend, I can recommend this place.

This is a NY themed bar. I liked visiting New York, it was a lot of fun. The décor here was all NY stuff so that was pretty cool. Just a few notes: — $ 20 minimum for credit cards — Bartender was very nice, allowed us to bring chips to snack on because he said they(do not?) or were not serving food. — Drinks are affordable, which can make hitting the 20 dollar minimum difficult. — The table in the corner(the one behind the stadium seats) is a bit awkward because the top half of the door is kept open and can easily hit a patron. — Bartender did not know how to make a Tom Collins, looked it up, and still made it incorrectly. Lime and Cherry garnish please. When I asked for lime, he squeezed a lemon in my drink and put it there. Needs the lime still. Overall, just a so-so bar to go to. Vibes were chill, décor was cool, drinks were average. Nothing spectacular really. Nothing stood out. It’s in a pretty sketchy neighborhood, so just keep that in mind. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I won’t seek out coming here, but it’s possible that i’ll be back if some friends wanted to go here. **Don’t know why some people say this isn’t a dive bar. It could be. «A dive bar is an informal bar or pub. Such bars are sometimes referred to as neighborhood bars, where local residents gather to drink and socialize.» It’s as much a sports bar as a dive bar IMO.
