2009

2009 has been a year of trials and tribulations for many. Unemployment, arrests, illnesses, deaths, betrayals, and being apart from family.
Just when you’re thinking life can’t get any better and are singing Oh, What a Wonderful World; life then kicks you in the bollocks, your ambulance gets in an accident taking you to the hospital, and your doctor turns out to be your psycho ex.
Don’t get me wrong. 2009 hasn’t been a complete FML for me.
— A bit of romance !!
— My little boy is growing up!
— I made some great friends and have strengthened the bond with old friends.
— A few friends have had great things happen to them… jobs, promotions, love, babies, and marriages.
— I finally met a few of you.
— I made the top 6 list for my job classification with the City of SF.
— I started a business.
— I got a pseudo job offer.
— I learned a lot about myself.
— I got to help a few people. Some in great need and some not so much.
Some of the good things easily balance out the bad and the rest are just bonuses. Okay. the first four make 2009 an awesome year and the rest offset most of the negatives.
That’s life, that’s what all the people say.

My year started off by a guy trying to mugg me in union square. It can only get better from here…

Its the 11^th and lets see… some job offers are lined up. Great friends and network and only getting stronger.
Cant wait till Dec. 09. Sooo much going on. IT seems like this year is already over… given my «to do» list and my agenda. Ehh.
FUN FUN FUN.
Started to work out more aggressively and with more commitment. So lets see.
I def. gotta update this in couple of months or so!

1. Elite Status
2. A job offer!
If anything goes downhill, I’ll let you know. But the first 8 days of 2009 beats the 365 days of 2008!

I have a feeling this is going to be a mixed year for people. FWIW, i’m looking forward to stoping contracting after 3 years and actually have somone admit to me that they want me around longer than 6 months. But then again, the pays way better. I just feel like a whore sometimes. But hey… the pays really good.
So… As we approach the new year i’ll wish everyone the blessing of one dream fulfilled.
