I do not have much experience with consignment stores. My mother in law and I stopped in here because she loved these sun chairs that were on display. I had my five year old with us and they had an area just for kids that he loved and I loved because I could treasure hunt:) indeed that’s what I did! They had so many great little treasures, shoes that were just my size, beautiful jewelry, and more. I got a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes and a pair of Ferragamo heels. I could’ve died right there, maybe I did a little. The staff had so much knowledge about all the pieces I asked about and little stories about them. I can’t wait to come back here to see what I find.

When I walk into Creative Instinct I always feel like I’m in a magical place. The offerings seem endless to me. They carry fine jewelry, wedding dresses, prom dresses, china, vintage ladies clothing, men’s clothing, furniture, paintings, books, shoes, memorabilia, and electronics. The sales people are kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I think the prices are reasonable; I have purchased several items. On some days I’ve spent $ 5.00; other days I’ve spent much more. Also, I feel Creative Instinct has many hard to find items. Parking is very easy to find. I highly recommend this store to others. Thank you Sarah, Tasha, Courtney, Chel-le, Julia, Stephen, and Jennifer, I’m looking forward to shopping with you again.

I have some very mixed feelings about this place. I will make it easier by breaking it into a pros & cons list. Pros: Lots and lots of lovely vintage pyrex Lots of very high end shoes in a size 6. If you are a size 6 you can get old and out of style designer/dance shoes at a discount. Staff seem VERYINTERESTED in helping. Cons: Staff jumps down your throat, hovers, and won’t let you shop. MULTIPLE times they came up to us and made awkward small talk while watching us. Bitch, I have money. I’m not here to steal old pans. The signs mentioned by another reviewer are hilarious. They are convinced that everyone is coming to steal their crap. We aren’t. Calm down. We actually left two separate times because we felt so unwelcome in this store. PRICES! They sell things at etsy prices. I find vintage pyrex all the time in my thrift travels. Usually $ 3-$ 8 a piece. Here, expect to spend a minimum of $ 20. Minimum. Whoever does the buying is buying for old people. The clothes are all very out of style. The shoes(it looks like they bought out a dance store & an old nordstroms in the 80s) are still $ 200+ and they are not cute. Seriously. Not cute. Not even as vintage. Just ugly. All in all, I come here occasionally, but I don’t know why. They are ridiculously overpriced, annoying and a little rude, to be honest. I’d save your money.

I drove by a number of times and finally couldn’t resist coming in to see what they had. I was impressed upon entering that I was greeted in a friendly manner and rhat although the sales staff was available, they didn’t hover either. I liked it enough that I decided to then contract with them to sell items I had for sale. The meeting and subsequent arrangement was conducted by Scott in a very friendly and professional manner and I was impressed by how thorough and informative he was in our meeting. I’ve had business with other resale shops in the distant future and found they didn’t conduct business in a manner that was any benefit to the sellor, so I stopped doing it, but this shop is a breath of fresh air!

A few interesting things, depending on how narrow your search is. But my gosh, THEPRICES! Second hand items should not be this pricey. Also the somewhat accusatory hand-made signs all around letting customers know we are being watched(and apparently suspected of wrongdoing), among other«rules» for being in the store can make you feel a tad uncomfortable. There are much better options than this store, IMO.

We visited this store on the advice of a friend who noticed the gowns. We needed a prom dress for my daughter. Deborah greeted us and immediately made us feel comfortable. She helped my daughter find a size and a style to suit her needs. The dresses were new – Deborah explained that they came from a store that closed. So we weren’t buying a used prom dress. My daughter tried on at least 10 different gowns. Deborah treated us like we were buying from Nordstrom’s or Rodeo Drive. We left the store happy and satisfied customers. My daughter loves her new prom dress. Thank you Deborah and the rest of the staff. Lisa O., Spring Valley
