Again County R.V. Took excellent care of me. Needed the power line from my Motorhome to my towed vehicle with 4 prongs on both ends. Everyone I asked between Yuma, Az and Santee looked at me like I was from outer space. County RV had it in stock! They also checked my electronics to make sure they both matched and worked without cookin’ the electronics in the RV. Great job guys!

These guys know what they are doing. Very knowledgeable and great customer service. Repair and service of vehicles this size and weight need to be handled by experts and that’s what you get.

Want to give a shout out to ED and his team at Country RV! I had them build and install custom spare tire cages on the undercarriage of my 5^th wheel toy hauler. Besides being very courteous and timely in getting the job done they did some real quality work on the install for a very reasonable price. I couldn’t be happier on the whole experience! Definitely taking my future business to them!

What a quality company. Did what I asked did things I didn’t know I needed that were reasonable and an employee returned $ 100 bill I dropped on the floor without my knowledge. Again what a quality company. I will go back and I am recommending them.

I Always trust this place. They have knowledgeable staff and they operate a fair business. They work on my horse trailer, boat trailer and truck.

Found these guys by chance and really got to know them after playing bumper cars with my brand new fifth wheel. The were thorough and efficient and convinced my insurance company to shell out for more repairs. I was treated like family and they kept me informed along the way. I was so impressed I had them do a few upgrades on my own nickel. If you want to be treated like a respected family member instead of just a customer, this is your place. By the way, there is no evidence my fifth wheel ever had so much as a scratch!

Towed our trailer from Oregon using the supplemental braking system installed by them and it was a breeze! We were very pleased with the ease in stopping with the trailer brakes installed. Definitely recommend! Thanks Ed!

After being referred to County Rv by San Diego Trailer Supply, I was skeptical to go to another RV repair place. But after hitting some road debris on our camping trip, 3 blow outs later, and damage to our fenders and underbody including faulty brake wires, we decided to file a claim with our insurance. County RV worked with us and our insurance and got us back on the road within a week. 4 new tires plus 1 new spare, polished all my rusted rims, replaced all damaged parts within my undercarriage as well as re wired all my trailer brakes. Robert at County RV went above and beyond to make sure my trailer was done right. I even had him fix our kitchen sink in the RV and he did it for free to thank us for bringing him the business. I’d definitely come back if I ever have another claim. I had Nationwide insurance so there was no hassle. Robert and his crew know how to handle a claim. I highly recommend them.

I was referred to County RV by San Diego Trailer supply. I dealt with Robert when dropping the trailer off. I had some major roof damage from a tree branch that broke at Lake Cuyamaca and beat the top of my RV to death. It exploded my skylight and tore the rubber roof. I didn’t think it would be anything crazy, but Robert said it needed major repair. After getting into the job they noticed he water had warped the entire roof. Robert got my insurance company to do a supplemental and they re-​roofed the entire thing, wood and all, it looks nicer than factory now. These guys do nothing but too notch work. Everyone there explains and walks you through each item fixed. They are into their work, and that makes you feel warm and fuzzy when handing over a expensive RV. I needed batteries and I’m on a right budget. Robert and the owner GAVE me a brand new set of interstates and installed them as they new my situation and wanted to get me camping again. I can’t say enough about these guys. Too, top notch everything. Thanks guys you deserve many more 5 star reviews.

I took my trailer in after I had damaged the body of it. They did an excellent job and gave me knowledge about my trailer that I didn’t previously know. They took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. They fixed a lot of items on the trailer in a short amount of time as well. I feel they went the extra mile for me. Great customer service.

I thought that the service was great and the repairs were great. I thought that the prices were a little higher, but I really have not had a ton of experience to compare them to.

Having just bought my first RV I was looking for a shop that I could take it to for whatever it needed in the years to come. I did not have any references so I looked on line and found this place. I looked at a few other websites but Country RV had a quote that drew me in. It said: «The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low cost is forgotten…».
After reading those words I figured, that sounds good. They’ve got the right idea. I’ll try them and hope they live by their creed. I took my little RV in for her first check up as the new owner. All I wanted was someone to change the oil, check the fluids, and my brakes. Basic stuff. I wanted to take her on a cruise but before doing so I thought a safety check, oil change and fluid top off would be smart.
Low cost would be nice but I knew that is rare when you drive into a shop with an RV so I did not expect it. What I needed was good honest and thorough work. I got neither and yes, I am bitter. Instead… I was lied to, overcharged (cheated) and the work was hurried, half assed, and incomplete. And, I had to leave her there for a few days. I would not have minded that so much had the work been good.
The charge was 259.!! Labor was 165. and the rest were parts. The only parts needed were oil and filter! It’s a VW 6 cylinder engine. When I asked the tech why he charged so much for the oil and filter he told me, in a rather defensive tone, it took 7 quarts and the filter was 40 dollars! I was surprised by this but what could I do? I didn’t know any better at the time. I paid and went on my way. Later I called VW who I should have taken it to to begin with, they confirmed I was over charged. After all it is a car, and they informed me that it only takes 6 qts max and the filter sells for 15 bucks! They would have only charged me 125. for doing what Country RV did. I can understand some mark up but that much? And lying about it when asked?
Had I just been overcharged for the oil change I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Unfortunately that was not the only issue. Even though I showed him where the two 12 Volt coach batteries were he forgot to check them. I knew they needed water which is why I showed him where they were. I checked them before I took it in. That’s why I took it in… I wanted them to «top off the fluids». My bad for not checking his work I guess! Thinking he’d done his job I went on an 1100 mile trip. On the way back I noticed the batteries were no longer taking a charge. When I got home and checked they were nearly dry. I called the RV shop right away and after telling the tech, I won’t name names, what happened he tried to say I told him «not» to check the batteries, which was absurd so he gave that lie up and admitted he’d forgotten.
I know a thing or two about batteries and have a digital meter, hydrometer, and a battery charger so I worked on them for a few days myself. The digital meter was reading the correct voltage indicating they were charged but the hydrometer was reading they were dead. That was after days of charging them so they had taken a beating on the trip from having practically dried up! I called Country RV again for help because I felt the tech was responsible but his attempt to help me over the phone was too little too late. When I told him nothing was working instead of saying bring it back in and I’ll fix whatever the problem is for no charge he didn’t offer me any solutions other than quote me the price of new batteries. I knew what kind of help I’d get if I took it back to them. Two new batteries totaling 350!!! That is the kind of place Country RV is! Predatory and unethical simple as that.
Long story short I took the RV to a battery shop and a really nice guy there removed them which was no easy feat. He basically had to do a bit of CPR to bring them back to life. It took a couple of days but he was able to breath life back into them. They were only 2 years old. The great thing about it was that he did it all for no charge! I tipped him because he did me such a huge favor but he did not expect one. It was a battery store! He could have told me they were shot and sold me two new batteries but he wanted to do his best to save them before selling me anything. That is an example of an honest person running an honest business!
BTW, I’m a single woman which often makes me an easy mark to begin with and Country RV is just the type of shop that preys on certain types. Probably old folks too. The only people that get good service there I imagine would have to be the ones that know all about RV’s and pricing before going in so they can’t be taken advantage of.
If you are not one of those people, don’t take your RV to this shop. You will pay dearly!
Their logo should read «The bitterness of high cost and poor quality is never forgotten» because I will never forget the high cost of the poor quality I got at Country RV…

I called on Wednesday for a quote to install a tow hitch on my 2012 Ford Escape on Friday. The guy that answered, Ed, was nice and professional. He said he would order the parts for Friday and that it would take a couple hours. My husband arrived at 9am and they installed the hitch without any hiccups. The actual price matched the quote and it took two hours to install. It was a great experience and we will recommend this place to family and friends.
