We ordered some arrangements for a Celebration of Life recently and couldn’t have been more pleased with the way they turned out. Everyone commented on their beauty! Colorful and bright and very reasonably priced. Thank you so much for making a sad event feel happy!

I received flowers from here on my birthday to my work and they were absolutely GORGEOUS! Everyone that came in had something great to say about them.
I was so pleased with how they looked that I went online to purchase a same day order for someone else… only problem is I needed them delivered same day — but within 4 hours before the person left work! Whoops!!!
I called the store after I realized the rookie mistake, explained I needed to see if they could be there before 1pm and they were so friendly and made sure that it was taken care of and guaranteed they would be there on time.
This company is great to work with, their product is SERIOUSLY amazing (not like proflowers or the like… and if you’ve ordered there then you KNOW what I’m talking about), and these bad boys last.
It’s been over a week and a half since I got my own flowers and they still look just as good as the day I got them.
Will definitely be using them again!

This florist is the BEST! My wonderful husband has ordered me flowers from this business several times in the last couple of years and they never disappoint. The bouquets are fragrant and beautiful! Even when they delivered a week too early (typo error on the date) for our 10 year anniversary they made it right and sent another vase full of flowers on the correct day. You will not be disappointed with their professionalism and product.

I was thisclose to taking on doing my own flowers for my wedding after having an unpleasant experience at another florist shop in San Diego.
And then a friend recommended Lori to me.
And the clouds parted — I had found my wedding flower saviour. She is SO nice and so awesome. A real pleasure to work with, and unlike a lot of other florists that I found to be incredibly over price, her prices were much more down to earth.
I wasn’t super particular on what types of flowers I had, only that I have some roses, and that they aligned with my color scheme, and Lori delivered — she made us gorgeous table arrangements, corsages and boutonnieres.
Oh ya and I wanted an INCREDIBLE cascading bouquet. And that’s exactly what I got. I’ve even posted some photos for your viewing pleasure.
So thank you Lori! I loved my flowers and — side note — my bouquet also preserved really well afterwards!

I went to Candlelight Florist to have my wedding flowers created. I went to four shops prior to Candlelight and was told that the flowers I wanted «were not possible.» Many of the shops did not want to work with me. Candlelight was amazing. My wedding flowers came out beautiful! They were so easy to work with and made my flowers exactly how I had hoped!

So I feel super bad that it’s taken me so long to write a review for this place. Lori you were absolutely amazing and you did such an amazing job on my wedding flowers. Everything turned out beautiful! You were so sweet and I am so happy I met you! I just wish I could have kept the flowers longer to enjoy their beauty :) thank you for coming out and delivering everything and I am so glad we ended up adding the vines to the arch. Perfect, absolutely the best experience. I am definitely going to be a return customer and also will spread the word :).

Just received the most beautiful flowers, sent by my Mom, in Colorado. We have used Candlelight Florist for years and are never disappointed. They do the best arrangements. Fresh and gorgeous!
I will be moving soon and will miss this place!

In this day and age of technology, and with everyone doing 10,000 things and not paying attention, customer service seems to be non-​existent across the board. As a busy Executive Assistant, it can be pretty challenging when working with vendors around town, and not being able to trust in service and attention to detail.
Candlelight Florist is tucked away in Santee, in a slightly deceiving, not so glizty location. It’s easy to miss.
I could go on and on about how fabulous this place is. And it truly is! Lee and Lori are fabulous in more than a dozen ways. Do not be deceived by it’s location or some of the not so satisfied posts. If you need flowers for any occasion, go here first.
It’s worth the trip. You won’t be disappointed!

They obviously don’t know what the date is. My mom order flowers for my birthday because she lives in Europe and this is like the only thing she can get me since she is so far away, and they delivered them to me 3 weeks earlier! Surprised ruined instantly. Flowers are pretty but the service sucks. Lady that delivered it sort of apologized but didn’t say anything like, oh wait let me take it back and re-​deliver fresh ones on the date I was supposed to since it will be your birthday… Very disappointed, and sad for my family. Never getting anything from here again.

I am a fan. I am 100% pleased with the quality of work and excellent service. I had the worse experience with Just Flowers/​Heavenly Flowers and they made it 1000 times better. I am not in the area but wanted to send a sick person some beautiful cheery yellow roses and made a special request for fresh long stems not only did they wilt the next day but the only attempted to resolve the issue with a $ 5 credit… then I searched out Candlelight and boy we they able to redeem my efforts to make a sick person feel a little better. The arrangement was fresh and beautiful and the customer service was superb. I recommend them and will use them over and over again.

Now lets be clear, im not at all an expert on florists. I can definitely count on one hand how many I have been to in my life. I have seen this place in the past as I have visited other businesses in the area and when I needed a florist, this place popped into my head. I walked in here blind, I hadn’t even checked it out on Unilocal yet. The place seemed to be decent size. A very nice lady was working. She was helpful although quick to try to sell me more than I asked for. The flowers seemed fresh to me. I had her make a small little change to the arrangement and she was happy to help. It did seem to be a little pricey but I really don’t have anything to judge that on seeing as its probably been 5 years since my last trip in a florist. She accidentally charged me a little too much on my card, luckily I caught it on the spot, and she was apologetic and refunded me the over charge. I really do think it was just an accident.
To wrap this review up, I will go here again since it seems to be the only florist in the area and I refuse to buy flowers from VONS or something of that sort. I did like the place and was happy overall.

I am big on mom and pop shops. This is a great little florist with awesome arrangements that fit my needs. They have reasonable prices and deliver which is a plus. I am not a big fan of those ‘chain’ florists as I have run into some issues with them. I enjoy the staff and great customer service I receive from this place!

Reasonable prices and great staff who are very willing to help with all your questions and orders. If I want flowers delivered, I will probably call this place first!
