This place is just delightful! We were visiting Glen Ellen/Kenwood/Sonoma area for Christmas week and wanted to get a Christmas tree for the kiddos, but didn’t want to break the bank as we’d be tossing it and going home the day after Christmas! We hunted around town for a bit, and the cheapest tree we found elsewhere was 50% off a $ 100 tree plus a $ 25 stand! So, we started to think we just weren’t going to have a tree when we serendipitously stumbled upon this Christmas Tree Farm/Art Gallery. The owners were just so nice and spent a good amount of time with us despite it being 5 minutes to closing and despite our final cost contribution being only $ 16! And after all that, they helped us fashion a make-shift stand out of their old wood so we didn’t have to buy a stand for a day-long Christmas tree. Also, the fact that they don’t massacre trees for the Christmas tree tradition is amazing! They leave the original tree and roots and cut above(which makes perfect sense and begs the question, why doesn’t every place do this?!). You get the tree you want, and the tree gets to stay alive and keep growing. Plus they serve delicious apple cider and show their stunning art inside. It’s wonderful and they and the place is what Christmas is really about. Thank you so very much! I might just travel the four hours next year to get a tree from here again!

Just a delightful place. We were running late in the afternoon heading into evening, but my girlfriend and I wanted to see if we could tourist one more spot so we called here. Caryn was so sweet answering the phone saying she would be there and come on by. We made it and were so enthralled with the pottery and paintings. Then we also realized they did Xmas trees as they were all around. The pottery was pretty traditional in style but her designs were beautiful. I purchased a ceramic wine bottle holder that was just beautiful. She had another design where she used like a leaf imprint that was amazing but I could only swing the wine bottle holder. I did score 2 on clearance items that looked like wine bottle coasters so they matched my wine bottle holder! I wish I could have bought more as the pieces were lovely. It was a fun visit to get away from the touristy stuff that was downtown. Very down to earth and relaxing to wander.

I love this tree farm! It is very authentic… not a Christmas madhouse. The trees are reasonably priced and sustainably grown. They don’t have jumpy houses, petting zoos, sleigh rides or a carnival atmosphere, and to me that’s a plus. They run a beautiful little pottery studio and you can shop for handmade items made right there. The kids love it too, and look forward to the tootsie pops and cider.

I have been getting my Christmas Tree here for over 20 years and they are the absolute best! I always find the PERFECT tree for my family and the most unique and original gifts for my loved ones. The owners are the sweetest and always around to lead you in the right direction. I cannot wait to take my daughter here for her first Christmas Tree.

My husband and I stopped here last weekend to see the art and also the studio. They have three rooms of beautiful art pieces — pottery, sculpture, glass jewelry and painting. Caryn and her husband Wayne are superb artists who have been at their craft a long time. Caryn graciously gave my husband a studio tour while I shopped for some special pieces. They also make some pieces to order for shipping or pickup. Wonderful place! There is also a Christmas Tree Farm on the property and some bonsai for sale. They are open every day and if you see a «closed» sign, they sometimes forget to change it to «open» on the highway, so drive up and see!

I recommend this place wholeheartedly. It was fun to be out with my family hunting for our perfect tree. The price was reasonable, there was a large selection of trees, sustainably farmed. They were friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located on HWY12 not far from the Safeway on Hwy 12 and Calistoga Road. We bought a sturdy tree holder from them as well, but no sales pressure, only helpful guidance.

My first-ever experience buying a Christmas Tree at a tree farm and I think we’ve started a new tradition! They offer eight varieties with PLENTY of choices in any size that tickles your fancy. Branches are stripped from areas where you’re supposed to cut leaving a few branches below to grow a brand new tree next season. A special tip: take the unbeaten path! You’ll find the hidden perfect trees this way. Fair prices for trees, especially in comparison to lot trees. Hot cider and candy canes when you go inside to pay. Inside you’ll find a beautiful artists’ gallery where the owners make their own pottery and paintings, and they even have some little bonsai trees outside. One of the owners even sent us off with some super motivational life advice. Win!
