Crappy service. Walked in, there was one guy making sandwiches, doing all the work, while another was just hanging out in the back. Stood there & was never greeted or acknowledged, no «I’ll be right with you» or anything. It wasn’t until I walked out of the establishment that the guy in back decided to come out and do his job. No thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I too have experienced ordering ahead issues. Seems like everytime I call, my order is never made. I’ve called 3 times to order ahead and all 3 I’ve got there, no sandwich, no customers and not happy. Today was pretty much the icing in the cake. Not only I call ahead, tell them my eta, and arrive to an empty restaurant, in the lobby AND behind the counter. She made the sandwich quickly but her attitude wasn’t very pleasant either. Never told me the total just took my card, didn’t give me anything to sign so I have no idea what I paid for this order. I love togos but this is killing my time when taking lunch. Just people be warned, this place sucks at calling in orders and customer service.

The staff is always friendly. My favorite is a vegetarian spinach wrap. Their selections are good, as least for my taste. I would recommend this sandwich shop to anyone.

Rude rude and more rude employees. I came in 30 minutes after opening and had no hot pastrami had to wait 5 minutes for them to microwave meat and all they gave me was pieces with grisly pieces. They didn’t even weight it out like they are supposed to. They were busy I was the only customer in line so really there’s no excuse.

I have come to this location numerous times for a salad wrap with the dressing on the side and i always get my order to go. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. this location forgets to put the dressing in the bag with my wrap and by the time i get home i realize there is NODRESSING which seriously aggrivates me… i have worked in restaurants before and something this SIMPLE shouldnt be forgotten. Attention to the smallest detail is important in working in a restaurant, even if its just a sandwhich shop. Today my boyfriend went to pick up some wraps to bring home for lunch and i decided not to remind him about the dressing hoping that maybe, just maybe, that this time the employee wouldnt forget the god damn dressing, and they did! This has got to be the 100th time you guys have forgotten the dressing! This happens 99% of the time i come in, even if i remind you guys to put it in the bag, some how you still forget. I have given this location so many chances to get it right its absolutely ridiculous, and this time im officially done. Something so simple, has lost you a good customer. Again, paying attention to the smallest detail, COUNTS!

I have been going to this location for years. For the most part, they are friendly. However, they have messed up so many orders, it’s ridiculous. And in the past few months, I have not gotten at least one sandwich correct. I work nearby, and my coworkers and I often order from here. I have counted, and my last 10 orders, not one of them was correct. And again today, I ordered 2 sandwiches for my coworker and I, and of course, both of the sandwiches were wrong. I don’t get it. I honestly believe that they don’t know what goes in their sandwiches. And I have called to try and speak to the store manager, but for some reason, they will not give me the info I need to speak to whoever I need to speak to. Very frustrating!

This is a pretty good Togo’s. I’ve been here 3 or 4 times now since the summer and I can’t say I’ve had any of the service problems mentioned in other reviews(which all seem to be from prior to when I started coming here). They have the low-priced rotating daily special 6″ sandwich deals here which is the main draw for me. It’s a nice cheapo option if I’m all fast fooded out. I really wish Togos and Jimmy Johns were the dominant national sandwich chains instead of Subway and Quizmos.

Every time we come here they are out of something. One time they were out of bread and another time they were out of pastrami. Today, Wyatt helped us and it took him 15 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. At one point, all three employees were working on one guys order of 2 sandwiches, so I had to wait before Wyatt finally took my order. Another customer placed a phone order and waited a half an hour before getting her oder, even after calling it in ahead of time. I only gave 2 stars because the sandwiches are good. The service is horrible. Save yourself some time and go to ikes place on mendocino ave. The employees know what they are doing and it is way faster.

I have heard so many great things about this sandwich shop from friends, coworkers, and classmates alike, so I was highly disappointed with my experience here earlier this afternoon. My boyfriend and I were starving and came to the decision that we both wanted to indulge into a delicious sandwich, so we decided to try Togo’s out because neither of us have done so. The shopping center it is located in has lots of parking — no worries there. As we stepped inside, my first thought was, ‘Wow, this place is super clean!’ I also noticed how steady their business was, with many professional-looking business people and people of all different age groups sitting at their tables, enjoying their meals. I couldn’t wait to order! As my boyfriend and I got to the counter to order, I went ahead and placed my order first, as mine was more simple. No problem. My boyfriend went to order his sandwich, and asked the man making our sandwiches to make it «Togo’s Way» — which is an option on the menu(kind of like«the works» when it comes to veggies and condiments.) The employee was confused and didn’t understand what he meant, so he showed him on the menu. It seemed as though the employee got annoyed with my boyfriend’s request, and after he made the sandwich he put it on a tray and THREW it… Yes, you read that correctly… Threw it at my boyfriend, and walked away shortly after we grabbed our chips and got our cups. We both couldn’t believe it. There were many people working behind the counter, and there were two elderly people(man and woman) working behind the counter as well, who I am assuming are the owners. The man rang us up, who was very sweet — a complete 180 from the service we had just received from the other male employee. After we paid for our food we sat down and ate our sandwiches. I thought mine was delicious, although I wish I had ordered it with a different cheese. My boyfriend detested his, and thought it was very poorly made and slopped together. For the price we paid for our food, we both should have been satisfied with our meals. As we were driving home, I began to feel extremely nauseous. We had to pull over twice because I felt like I was going to throw up my food. My boyfriend felt sick, too. I laid down at home practically all day, feeling absolutely horrible. Even though my sandwich was yummy at the time, I am absolutely disgusted with how it made me feel afterwards! Looking at the other reviews on this place, it appears that many other customers had the same issue, or complained that the food wasn’t fresh. The way the counter is set up, you are unable to see what the employees are doing behind it or how they are making the food. It makes me wonder if the meat stays out open all day, etc. I’m very disappointed and upset with this experience. I won’t be back, unfortunately. Apparently the location on Farmers Lane is supposed to be much better; however, the one on Industrial Drive is an epic fail.

I love Togo’s, but this location has serious issues. I’ve had some foul tasting salad here before. They are always slow, but it was my last trip that really prompted me to write up a review. I ordered before leaving Windsor and heading home to SR. They tell me it will be 20 minutes for my order. I walk in 10 minutes later to a completely empty restaurant with two employees. My greeting from one is that I am early and the other lady is making my sandwiches while she prepped veggies in plastic containers. I couldn’t believe that she said this to a paying customer. The lady making my sandwich took another 10 minutes or so to complete it. I could not figure out why it seriously takes 20 minutes to make two sandwiches. And if it’s really that hard, why not have the second employee jump in and help. It’s not that difficult, people! Go to the Togo’s on Farmers Ln. It is a completely different experience with friendly people and good food.

I feel like service is a hit-or-miss now that I have more experience with this Togo’s…Okay really I’ve only been here 4 times in the past few months with my bf but 2⁄4 times, they messed up my order. One of the times, I told the employee exactly what I wanted. She asked, «pickles?» and I said«NO. No pickles.» Well guess what? When I went to eat my sandwich, THEREWEREPICKLES. It was also missing the tomatoes that I wanted. The other two times were fine. One of those times, the employee who was making a sandwich that my bf and I were splitting was very nice. I have different preferences for my sandwich than my bf, so the employee split the bread in half at the start as if she was making two separate sandwiches but still charged the same amount despite using two different cheeses. I always order online here now just because they don’t mess up those(at least so far).

If I could give this place no stars I would. They mess up my phone order almost every time. LITERALLYWITHNOEXAGGERATION I get the right sandwich that I order 1 out of every 5 times. I know this because I ordered from this one for an entire work week because my in-laws are on a health kick. Now you’re probably asking yourself, «why did you keep going back if they screwed up»? I went back because I paid for the first set of sandwiches, and the next 4 days were free because they messed up every order every day in which most of them had ingredients on them I specifically told them not to put on due to food allergies. I still have a free 6th set of sandwiches but after that many, I don’t feel the need to getting free sandwiches on the owners’s dime when their idiot employees keep screwing up. This is why minimum wage is so low, and why small businesses fail. You’re getting paid a low wage because you’re either not smart enough to earn more, or you’re too busy telling everyone your plans for graduating from the junior college to care about your job. It’s places like this that should be perfect almost every time for what you ordered especially when these are very expensive, but high quality sandwiches. When the drive-thru gets my order right WAYMORE often then this place then there is a big problem. I have worked at Disneyland foods so when the employees keep saying they are sorry because it was busy, come on guys, I did anywhere from 20 to 40 times the customers you did in 100+ degree whether with no air conditioning outside in Anaheim every day with little to no mistakes. It’s not an excuse. To the owner, please get rid of all of these people because I have been going to this location ever since I can remember and would like to see it stay around. Until then, Subway is my go to place for now. Good luck guys, bring back the Togo’s nachos ! :)

The sandwiches are tasty, but last time i went there the worker that was making my sandwich in front of me wasnt using gloves and was placing every single item she was putting in my sandwich in a very gross looking dirty counter. I also know people have gotten sick after eating here… gross

I love the new changes to the menu like the mini for $ 2.50 and the $ 5 deal of the day. Also the 4 new toasted sandwiches are fantastic! Chili cheese and beef doesn’t sound that great but once I tried the sample I was a believer. It’s my new favorite. The staff is great here and the store is always clean.

I’ll have to agree with the general consensus here and say that this Togo’s is a solid three stars. I realize Togo’s is a franchise and one would think there’s not much difference between one and another, but it seems that there is. The one off of Farmer’s Lane is much better.

I love this sandwich shop. It’s also close to where I live. Sure, the prices are high, but you get a huge sandwich and it’s pretty consistent. The only time they got something wrong was when I ordered a turkey and roast beef and they forgot an entire meat(roast beef)! How can you do that? I agree with the other reviewers that they need better listening skills.

I would have given more stars because the food is fantastic but the service at this particular location is quite lacking. I order a sammich, make a couple changes such as «please salt the avocado» and of course they forget. I’ve never gotten anything here that was exactly how I requested it which is in sharp contrast to the service at the Togo’s across town. They serve a good sammich but they really need to work on listening skills and their service in general.
