The best pediatrician around. Love love love him. My son is comfortable with him and we are very pleased with his big heart and decades of experience. He’s the BEST.

Dr. Zembel is an amazing doctor. My sons adore him. He is extremely intelligent and he is great with children. Before we found him, I have taken my sons to other doctors before but I wasn’t satisfied with the care they recieved. After going to him and seeing just how kind, compassionate, and caring he was towards our sons we decided to stay. He is always thorough with his exams and takes his time with the kids. We have been seeing Dr. Zembel for years now and he sure is the best!

Doctor Zembel is amazing. He is an incredible pediatrician. I have been to a few other pediatricians before we found him and none can compare to Dr. Zembel. Certain people are blessed with certain abilities and I truly believe his calling was to be one of the most amazing pediatricians ever. He is not only very intelligent, he is kind, patient, understanding, humble, down to earth, approachable, knowledgable, compassionate, gifted, and just a very decent person. My boys adore him and that is saying a lot because they HATE going to the doctors but ever since we found Dr. Zembel, they don’t mind as much. He always has the neatest ties and gadgets and he uses that tiny bear as a prop to explain to my two year old baby that he will be looking into his ears just like how he is doing to the bear. I think that is just brilliant. He is able to distracts the kids by using those neat gadgets while he does a thorough check up on them every time. What am amazing doctor and I thank God we found him!

I know people don’t often review medical practitioners on Unilocal but, heck, I think they should!
I had my first baby just recently, and being relatively new to the area, I was really shooting in the dark when it came to selecting a Pediatrician. I attended Sutter’s «Meet the Pediatricians» event and Dr. Zembal was presenting. My husband and I instantly liked him. He has, in our opinions, an approach that is a perfect blend of taking parents’ concerns seriously, while also keeping you from worrying needlessly. This is such an art– especially when it comes to new parents who are in very unfamiliar territory– not knowing when to be concerned or not.
Unfortunately for many doctors, it almost doesn’t matter how good they are if they have a front office or nursing staff who are rude or not helpful. Certainly not the case here! The staff and nurses at Dr. Zembal’s office are all wonderful, friendly, professional and helpful– which was such a relief!
They are going to be moving their office a little further away (for me, anyway) soon but I can honestly say that it doesn’t matter. I would drive to Petaluma if that’s where they moved to!
