Told me everything she was doing and made sure I was happy. I’m from out of town and usually get my stuff threaded but there are zero threading places around here. I had my first bikini wax here and was scared because I didn’t know what to expect. Madalyn did an amazing job at putting my mind at ease, while being speedy and thorough! Madalyn is the esthetician I have been looking for since moving back to the Santa Rosa area three years ago! She deserves 6 stars. She is incredibly quick and she uses gentle pressure after ripping the wax off– this makes for a painless Brazilian wax. I know «painless» isn’t the word most people use to describe a Brazilian wax but I was fully grown in when I saw her today and honestly I did not feel a moment of pain or even discomfort during my service. Madalyn’s easy manner and pleasant conversation immediately made me feel comfortable and I felt relaxed and refreshed after I left. I highly recommend the Wax Shack for women having their first Brazilian wax as I don’t think you can find a more comfortable experience in Santa Rosa. And of course, she uses high quality wax and is extremely conscientious about hygienic practices. She managed to fit me in on the same day I contacted her and made scheduling extremely easy via text. Finally, her pricing is extremely affordable. I have paid more than double Madalyn’s rate at other businesses and not had such a lovely experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Madalyn to all the women I know!

Madalyn at the wax Shack is one of the best waxers I’ve ever seen! (And I’ve seen a lot). She is very quick, and the prices are really good. I’ve payed a lot more for a much worse wax job.
I’ve had a Brazilian and my eyebrows done at the wax Shack and both were very good. She really gets all the hair without taking forever to do it. She uses good quality waxes too, and the process is much less painful than other waxers I’ve seen. She’s also very easy going and fun to talk to so you won’t feel awkward or anything during the appointment.
Her office is kind of hidden away, but once you get there it’s a very cute, clean, and comfortable space. She shares it with another girl who does eyelash extensions or something like that. Making appointments is very easy – I can schedule appointments via text message, which is super convenient if you are a shut in like me who doesn’t like to call people.
Basically, if you need a wax and you are in the Santa Rosa area go to the wax shack!

I had such a great experience at The Wax Shack. My appointment was so easy to set up, the place was so clean and inviting, Madalyn has such a nice calm demeanor, and I thought the prices were very affordable. I was a bit nervous having only had my arms waxed by my sister before but there was no reason to be. Madalyn made me feel immediately at ease and her technique was painless and quick. And as a bonus I got the sweetest greeting from her little dog Little. I highly recommend The Wax Shack.

My first time to get waxed EVER and I had heard nothing but great reviews about Madalyn from other friends so I decided, why not try it out? I was nervous, as most are before they get their hair ripped out of their skin, that it would hurt like hell, but I was pleasantly surprised how gentle and quick Madalyn was. Barely hurt and no ingrown hairs or rash! (I have very sensitive skin so even hot water gives me a heat rash). I will DEFINITELY come back, especially since summer is just around the corner!
