Love this place! It’s my favorite happy hour spot. I love sitting outside and people watching. The bartenders are super rad and they just started serving alcohol. It used to be beer only (which is my preference) They have a small menu of bar food with big flavor. I come here when I’m craving fish tacos over a restaurant. The chicken strips are actual breast!

Looking for a rain contingency, and fun to be had, I found John at Sweet Spot Pub who put together a great buffet for our birthday day party. We had a shuffle board tournament, games and a great time. John and Jackson did everything to turn this rainy day event into great fun.

Meh rounded up to A-​OK. We liked the divey fun atmosphere of this pub, but the food was pretty terrible. At least it was cheap.
Beer was plentiful and about average price. We enjoyed our pitcher of Lagunitas and were grateful to have it as we washed down the mystery meat greasy nachos and over-​fried fish tacos.
Seems like a good locals place to drink, hang out and and play games (shuffle board, etc), but I can’t recommend ordering anything that comes out of the kitchen. Stick to what’s on draft and you’re bound to have a good time.

I like this place. The bartenders were cool and the music was really good. It could use a few more dark beers. It seems like everything was an IPA or Pale Ale. It was a mixed crowd age-​wise. I had a good time and would go back.

Love the Spot! This place is down home goodness… right on 4th street with a big patio to watch the world go by. Love that they let dogs in and watching the games here is always a good time. Had the fish tacos last night — so good! The homemade Caribbean hot sauce is HOT so tread lightly ;)

We stopped here as an alternative to the Russian Brewery as we didn’t have time to wait 1 ½ hours for a spot.
It was much quieter. Not super busy. A small seating area at front of place with some tables, but it’s mostly a bar area.
The bartender was super nice. Food was good. Would go again.

Good beer, good atmosphere, great bartenders. My husband and I have been here twice and like it. Just a nice, laid back bar. Best place to grab a beer in Santa Rosa, in my opinion. Minus one star because selection is pretty limited and atmosphere could be better although the second time we went we liked the bartender a lot — he added a lot to the whole experience. Wish I had gotten his name so I could give him props on here.

Please avoid The Sweetspot in downtown Santa Rosa! They refused service tonight for no reason at all and publicly embarrassed the people I was with! We had one beer prior to trying out this place, but based on Sweet Spot standards, were «too drunk to serve.» When I called and spoke to them on the phone they were unapologetic and even more disrespectful. Please don’t give them any of your money!!!

The bartender this Friday night was incredibly rude. After I requested the bill so I could leave this awful place he began to gripe about «the awful customers he always gets» out loud in front of us to another staff. DMV service bar.

I wish I knew the name of our bartender, but he was awesome! He was accommodating and personable and gave us the happy hour price even though it was a couple min passed :). Very cool atmosphere, with a juke box, board games if we want and a shuffle board in the back.
They only serve beer and wine but the bartenders know them well. We came here while we were waiting to eat at Russian River, after the awful experience at RRB we wish we didn’t leave the Sweet Spot.
We actually came back the next day and brought our friends. This will be a place we will be frequenting often when were in town.

I really enjoyed my short visit to this place. Despite the fact that it looks everything like a place that serves hard alcohol, they only serve beer and wine. I was told by my delightful and friendly female bartender that they would have a full bar soon.
Contrasting this place to Ausiello’s nearby, the bartender was friendly and nice. I don’t care if they serve a full bar there or not, I just found it very hard to get someone to come over and serve me a drink… To the point that I tried not to take it personally.
Here it was refreshingly upbeat and just great service. I got an IPA and chicken tenders with a nice generously sized fresh salad. It was a very reasonably priced meal. Go here and not Ausiello’s on 5th!

The Sweet Spot is filled with fun games, good drinks and decent food. Not to mention they represent the Giants on their walls — great atmosphere! It’s just always been the place I can count on having a good time at. I have only good things to say about this place.

Great local bar to hang out at. Fun atmosphere, good tap selection, friendly staff and SHUFFLEBOARD! They also have the Stella Artois Cidre which is kind of hard to find at many restaurants.
Beer is a little more pricey than other bars downtown, but it’s worth stopping in!

This place is like an undercover Lagunitas Bar… And if you have read any of my last reviews, you know I LOVE lagunitas.
The food we ordered was your typical cheap, greasy bar food, except not as cheap. It was very yummy, don’t get me wrong. I just expected a slightly larger portion.
My taste buds were very happy when we left though, and I’m excited to return for just the drinks to try out the variety of beers they have!

One of my favorite bars in SR for a couple of reasons. Shuffleboard! The only full sized table around. I’ve spent many a late night cheering at that wonderful table. Just leave your ID’s behind and it’s all yours! There’s a couple of flat screens, jukebox, a pinball machine, putting green and liars dice available as well, fun for all! The pub style food is quite good, the wings are some of the hottest and most delicious I’ve had in a while. The beers on tap are all standard local goodness, mostly Lagunitas. I met the bartender named Danny and he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever encountered running a bar, outstanding service! You can always count on enjoying yourself with good friends at the S. S!

I went here back in December with a few coworkers after our company’s Christmas party. We arrived just at midnight when the bartender managed to squeeze us all in.
Well, almost all of us. One of our coworkers was already pretty good, so the bartender refused to serve him. Our buddy started getting really angry and frustrated, to downright rude with her.
Annie, the bartender, handled the situation extremely well and was super friendly to us all, despite our friend being a huge jerk to her.
I’d gladly come back again for service like that.

We stopped by this bar on a whim and had the best time. Jackson our bartender was awesome! He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the beer selection. All of our friends in our party absolutely loved him! Jackson is great! If in town stop by and say hi.

Beer list is good, if a bit limited. It is (almost) all Lagunitas. They also have Guinness and a few others.
The food is pretty mediocre. It seems like it is mostly frozen and then grilled or fried.
On the plus side, they have a projection TV which is really great when there is a big game on.
