I have been looking for a new Dr for a long time. After Dr. Laxer mentioned Sutter to me, I went in there to talk with someone about what Insurance they are and aren’t accepting. I was unsure if I was in the right area. That lead me to being unsure as to what to say. If I’m correct, the lady that helped me was Andrea. As soon as I said five words, Andrea took over. She knew what I was there for. She took over and asked me about my insurance, called different areas and gave me my answer in ten minutes. Five stars to Andrea, on the second floor. In the mean time, the room was very clean, warm, and smelling fresh. There were Co Workers around her also, that were always smiling, and cooperative.

Some of the staff at my primary just do not have it together. When I’ve called for appointments, they are rude and cut you off mid sentence. They don’t answer phones after 3pm, or hardly ever, and the last NP I worked with did not seem very confident in getting my last diagnosis across to me when I had questions. Very unprofessional. I have a great OB there though in a different building and the staff is very friendly. I’ve contemplated leaving but do like my primary doctor, but pretty sure after the last phone call I just got, that was the nail in the coffin.

08.08.15 The Sutter Health Team we had to endure doesn’t communicate with each other and ordered repeated lab tests with excessive co-pays. We really can’t recommend this group. Our experience was that Sutter is more in the for profit arena than health care. Rather than practice medicine, they order lab tests. Really poor experience which has motivated very unacceptable reviews. We had a really poor experience with the Family Practice group resulting in $ 11,000 + worth of insurance billing and a $ 3,000 co-pay. My partner was dropped from the SRJCADN program after SPMF couldn’t figure out that he had double pneumonia after we told our then primary care he had been exposed to pneumonia. We met with Judy Callahan to voice our concern 02.26.15 at which time she told us to would kick it up to her executive committee. After repeated telephone calls and emails, we’re still waiting for Judy to get back to us. If you rate a health care organization on the ability to generate revenue, then you’re probably in the right place. If you’re looking for health care, you probably want to keep looking. As soon as open enrollment comes around, we’re headed back to Kaiser.

I switched to this medical group for a new obgyn. I have had the best experiences there so far. I look forward to having children and having this be the office I go to regularly. My doctor emailed me information describing my text results within a week. They fill prescriptions quickly and seem to really care about my well being! Couldn’t be happier!!!

Wish it gave me the option for ½ star. I had to wait a month to get a diagnosis from the Dr. because he was on vacation. He wouldn’t even look at my labs/imagining before the appointment to see if it was serious. Absolutely abysmal patient care.
