Sears and Roebuck

Bought a new Kenmore elite washer/​dryer with high exceptions. Ended up with dryer being improperly installed resulting in a replacement. Subsequently the washer started to make a noise in the spin cycle after two weeks which their phone diagnosticians couldn’t help. The best they could do was to schedule an appointment three weeks away. Our expensive extended maintenance contract didn’t seem to help.
Incidently, we also purchased a new Kenmore refrigerator which was delivered by a different crew. During installation, I observed them banging the refrigerator against out cabinet door and damaging it. It has to be replaced which hopefully Sears will re-​imburse us. Unbelievable!

Terrible service. We gave them my microwave to fix a door latch. They said they ship to Tennessee and it could take 2 – 3 weeks! My husband gave it to them. It came back unfixed after $ 140 and 2 weeks. He gave it back to them. I am now sitting in the store waiting 30 minutes for someone to tell me what’s up. I have bought so many items from Sears over the years. I hate to not buy from them anymore but this may be the end of our relationship.

I am so upset with the repair division of Sears it is called A and E I made an appointment to fix my kenmore washer I waited all day on my day off to have them call and say they were over booked and were canceling the appointment I could reschedule at a later date. I haven’t used my washer in a week I would like to stop going to the laundry mat. The best they could do was reschedule the appointment in another week. I called a local company hopefully will have a working washer tomorrow morning. That being said I need several appliances in the next year I won’t be shopping there.

Poorly trained staff. 6 visits to replace an external part on my Fisher Paykel dish drawer. Imagine the time you spend waiting 6 appointments, then the time for someone to remove, disassemble and then reassemble your dishwasher. I spoke to the main office several times. It was a nightmare. Did it get repaired? Yes — but it took nearly 5 months.
