I was so happy to see this little place in the Casino. I love Three Twins Ice Cream. Go Local! When I was here last time I tried the lavender ice cream and I found it the most pleasant lavender ice cream I’ve ever tried. I am always intrigued by this flavor, but at other places I’ve found it to be too much emphasis on the floral taste or too sweet or otherwise unpleasant. At Scoops the lavender ice cream was refreshing and exactly what I wanted it to be.

Tried out this place just before leaving the casino, my biggest knock on this place is they were out of a lot of flavors. While we were waiting in line they told us that all of the caramel flavors were sold out, that eliminated a good chunk of the menu right there. When I got up there and had a flavor I wanted they told me that was sold out too. Seems like the flavors are hit and miss as well, I really like coffee ice cream and i tried that here, it was not very good. The Dad’s flavor tasted like a spiced egg nog and that was not very good as well. I got a peanut butter cup flavor and that was very good. The ice cream as well is pretty smooth and creamy so that was a plus. Maybe I will try this place again sometime since most of the flavors I was interested in were sold out.

I love ice cream, I love organic and I love local food. Therefore, I must love Scoops right? Of course. They serve Three Twins Ice Cream, which is made right down the road in Petaluma. I’m so glad they opened a Scoops in the new casino. Nothing like a great scoop of ice cream after a hard day of gambling, am I right? No? Ok, I can’t be right all the time. This is high end tasting ice cream. Their flavors are intense, with Dad’s cardamom and sea salted caramel my favorites. The smoothness of the ice cream is wonderful on your tongue. They make fresh waffle cones and have lots of toppings too so you can make a pretty decadent sundae if you so desire. I wonder if they will make their World’s Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae if someone hits the jackpot… Delightful ice cream people. Check it out.
