My daughter loves this gym. She has been on the Excel team for several years and is always being challenged to learn new skills safely. Her abilities have grown and she always has fun even when struggling with a skill. The coaches are encouraging and helpful and the teammates become family. It doesn’t matter what your level, beginning, intermediate, competitive, or just for fun — they have it all!

I stared bringing my little one here at two to the free play and thought it was great. We’ve been going ever since and it just keeps getting better!!! I initially picked this place because they don’t charge an annual registration fee(which seems ridiculous to charge) and the reviews. My daughter is three and a half now and is doing AMAZING because of Ms. Amy and all the other wonderful instructors. Ms Amy is AWESOME and EVERY instructor that has worked with my little one has been EXCELLENT. I keep waiting to run across one that I don’t care for too much but I haven’t. They are all so attentive and encouraging it has made my little girl flourish. One thing that worried me initially was thinking the instructors wouldn’t reprimand my girl when she needed it but they sure do keep them in line, without being too harsh. The obstacle courses/moves they give them seemed like too much too soon to me at first(I did start bringing my girl pretty much right at three) but as we kept going I realized they have it down pat. There are a variety of obstacle courses/moves they do but they keep them in a kind of rotation to which they repeat things often enough to get it down but rotate the movements enough to keep interest. Since taking my daughter here it has helped her excel in other ares of her learning greatly. I feel Santa Rosa Gymnastics has been such a boost to my daughter. My daughter has a lot of self confidence which I strongly feel taking her to gymnastics here has helped her with, not that she needed it but who wouldn’t want to make their child more confident in themselves. I was surprised to find out that if your child misses a day you can do a make up class at a different time, nice surprise! Overall I feel my business and my child are very valued by Santa Rosa Gymnastics. They get nothing but rave reviews from me! THANKYOU Santa Rosa Gymnastics and all the instructors that have worked with us… you guys ROCK!!!

i am sad to say my recent experience with this business was so unpleasant… i actualy went to this gym as a child, and it came highly recomended by a few other parents… so i decided to give it a try with my very shy 6 year old daughter… and this is how it went… after checking the web page to find appropriate times and levels for my daughter, i decided to call… the nice young lady urged us to come visit the center and speak to a staff member… so we did. my daughter was very excited with what she saw, so i spoke to the young lady behind the counter. she explained that all of the classes in my child age group are full, we would have to be put on a wait list… so we did. left our name and number expecting a call… mon…tues…wed. no call(my child at this point is very excited about joining a class) so i call them. they have no record of my daughter bing put on a «list» she asks what days and times work for us? she will ad us to a list now… i explain that our schedule is very open… of the 13 classes that fit my childs age and level… any will work for us… the young lady explained that i would need to choose a specific time and day that work for us or she cannot put us on a wait list? so i ask which classes have the shortest wait list? and what could be our foreseeable wait time frame??? she then suggests that we check other facilities for current openings??? so we did… now my child is enrolled in another gym. note to the owner… this is no way to drum up business… waiting is expected in life, but waiting for nothing seems silly… i would have expected a call following up with my first visit(during which i was told i would receive a call) .getting info from your staff was like pulling teeth… i was very polite in all of my communications with your staff, but felt on every contact that i was being redirected… signing my shy 6 years old up for gymanstics should not have resulted in my feeling put off or rejected. this is in no way how i want my child to feel in an after school activity intended for building self exteem and friendships…

We love the toddler free play mornings, wish there were more. The group age classes are good. Our only complaint is the tumbling/cheer. We tried it a couple times with our daughter there was no instruction/lacked coaching and focus. Dissatisfied as they had a great time slot and could really have a good program to get kids of all ages and set Sonoma County up as the best. Over all kids enjoy going.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the center. I brought my 4 year old daughter here, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. They were inconsistent in organization skills which left my daughter unable to participate in the group. It was obvious that the staff gave special treatment to specific children, which I learned was their own children or Co-Workers Children. Also, my daughter is a bit shy as well and there was no compassion at all. Very unwelcoming.
