WOW! My fiancé and I were pleasantly shocked when we met Mandy and discussed our needs/wants and started working with her! She was great! Here is a quick back story — I originally was looking to move out and RENT in August 2014. We got engaged in November 2014 and after increasing our needs/wants in an APARTMENT, it became apparent that it was cheaper and more cost-effective to BUY. We started our first home purchase adventure in December 2014. Long story short, after about 12-ish offers, frustration and hearbreak, we notified our then realtor and lender that we were taking a break in the search. This, I think, needed to happen in order for the lender to give me a call and refer us to Mandy. As soon as we got off the call, he send both of us an email and it was a match made in electronic Heaven! Mandy agreed to meet with me during lunch at a near by Starbucks. As soon as I met and talked to her, I was at ease knowing we were in the right hands. She set us up in the email system and my fiancé and I would look online DAILY. Anytime we had a question on a specific property, wanted to schedule a tour, or had a question on the process in general, we got a response within a few hours! Talk about 100% communication! Email, text, or call, she was always available and willing to chat with us. She agreed to show us places on the weekend and even on Labor Day! My fiancé works about 1 — 1.5 hrs away so it was hard for him to see any places during the week. She uses DocuSign(at least at the time we were in the process) and it made everything so convenient since he didn’t have to drive up, meet in person and sign the offer documents. On September 11, I had a last minute scheduling of a few homes in the same complex. We saw one that was in great condition, but not as updated; and the other was recently updated(minus the kitchen). i met with her at 3pm and after seeing both properties, I was leaning to the one that was not updated because it would allow us to start fresh at OUR first home, rather than living with someone else’s tastes in upgrades. I asked her for her honest opinion and she agreed that the upgrades in the upgraded one were not worth the price difference. Upon leaving, she mentioned that she had a family commitment and would draft and send the offer paperwork the next day. I got the documents later that night! She had a great balance of family and work, in our opinion! The next day, our offer was submitted and at 8:30pm, I got the text that forever changed our lives, our offer was accepted! My fiancé and I were thrilled beyond belief! We had waited sooo long and finally, we were past the initial hurtle. I asked her if she could schedule a viewing for Sunday, since my fiancé had signed the offer docs without seeing the property in person(Yes, he is that amazing and trusted my insights :)) She gladly did and the very next day(Sunday) we were able to view the property again. The ball officially got rolling. There were a few delays in steps with the lenders and new systems, but overall, Mandy was great at following up and making sure to push our paperwork through, even if that meant she had to call different people directly to get updates! It made the process 1,000,000 times easier knowing we had someone who knew the business and was in our corner! We never felt that she was not available, not sincere, or too busy for us. She did her best and succeeded and providing us with THEBESTCUSTOMERSERVICE we have ever received, anywhere! To this day, 4-ish months after we closed on our home, we still keep in touch. Mandy — you have no idea how much you helped make this process less scary for 2 newly engaged young couple buying there first home alongside planning a wedding!
