It is always reassuring that some people find their mission in life, that they do what they are born to do best. AbuGeorge is from the crossroads of Europe and the Middle East and speaks English, French, and Arabic. He cuts the hair from many rednecks and liberals alike with disarming banter, though his heart bleeds for his homeland. Glad to call him my friend, mashallah.

REALMENGOTOBADASSBARBERS!!! Old European style, Bad Ass detail, detail and more details. Wow. San Francisco two months ago I paid about $ 125 including tip this was equally as good for only $ 17 Bucks«Amazing» I grew up with a family of High end European stylist, I was the kid sweeping up the hair and I learned a few things the difference between a buzz cut and the art of true scissor cut. Scissors are way more work and the results blow away electric shavers. Stylist Vs Barber Woman, longer hair generally its often-layered etc. Men have closer cuts and detailed edging closer to the skin that is not covered up by a longer hairline. If you’re a man go to a Barber and see the difference, you will be surprised! I hadn’t heard in three decades if I wanted tapering, edging preference etc. I thought what the hell? no one does Old world European style any more it’s a lost art? I am blown away and greatly satisfied and a bit in awe of my discovery. Salvador Dali, Is alive and well in Santa Rosa, Ca aka BADASS! Back draw, this place has seen better days and is a bit run down. But I assure lean back in that chair and let the master begin. You wont be disappointed. I also loved what he did with my beard and mustache, hell yaaaaa…

Nice guy to talk to and a descent price($ 17) for a haircut. I’m giving this place 3 stars because that’s why the haircut deserves. I felt the cut was rushed(whole thing was done in 10 minutes) and when I got home discovered it to be a little uneven. For someone who wants care and quality put into their cut, this isn’t the place for you.

I’ve been going to this shop now for about a year & recommend it. CASH only. 5 minutes from Highway 101 freeway exit /EAST side of highway 101. Next to independent, nice quality grocery store & other stores in complex. One man operation. Very friendly, talkative man who is FAST in his work. An original shop for decades. Current barber was not the original operator. One man operation. Very friendly, talkative man who is FAST in his work. Very skilled. He is from Lebanon and a real family man. Close to his children. Just north of the two local hospitals: Kaiser and Sutter on Old Redwood Highway.

when I needed a new person to cut my hair(previous person moved to LA) I saw the Larkfield Barber Shop listed on Unilocal and decided to give them(turns out to just be one barber) a try. I can’t say enough about my experience. The owner, Salim(sp?) is fast and gives a great haircut. to boot he only charges $ 17 and I believe he is better than most salons where you would pay twice to three times as much. I have now been back 4 times and will continue to go and get great haircuts.

I concur with every review about this place. My haircut turned out great and the conversation was fantastic. I was in town on business and needed a haircut bad. The Unilocal reviews did not lead me astray. Yes, it is an old place. It probably has never been remodeled inside, but don’t let that discourage you from getting a cut here.

My son has his hair cut here and loves this Barber shop! I have met Salim and he is indeed a gracious and friendly person. In addition, my son gets a great haircut here.

Well I’ve been going to Sal for about year now, after my last barber failed me. I have been extremely satisfied with every hair cut. His fades are second to none, all in all a solid barber! I appreciate the fact Sal can chop it up with you when it’s less busy, or can turn on the after burners when it’s extra busy, in both cases I still get the same stellar cut. The fade and the shop are only part of an great experience. Sal’s a straight shooter, a fair, honest barber, whom will give you a firm handshake, and look you in the eye! I appreciate that in a person, and believe you do too!

If you find a better hair cut in Sonoma County — please me us know. I used to frequent several of those beauty parlors that ‘also’ cut men’s hair and had extremes of experiences — depending on the luck of the draw when your turn inline came up. Salim is a great person that just happens to give great haircuts. Once you have a Salim haircut your search for a barber will have ended and you will join his growing return customer base. Yes this is an old school barber shop with almost exclusively a male clientele — although I once saw a lady get her hair cut and Salim says he get a few lady customers. Only one complaint about Salim, he still charges on $ 17 for a haircut. Most people give him $ 20 — which is still a bargain. If you visit, encourage him to raise his price to $ 20 — yes he is that good.

First off its $ 17 to get a haircut. Salim is a pretty cool guy, he’s got stories to tell and he’s really laid back. You can tell he has ALOT of experience. I forgot exactly how long he said he’s been cutting hair but it’s been well over 20 years. If you see something you don’t like in your cut, he will try his best to correct it. I was very satisfied with y haircut, idk what he did but it just looked and fell into place very nicely. Lastly, I do have to say I asked for a taper, maybe I wasn’t too specific on how short to taper it down or maybe he is not as conscious about modern fade/tapered cuts so it wasn’t as tapered down as I would like. My only advice would be just to make sure he understands you and don’t be scared to tell him you want it shorter.

Best authentic barber shop ever. I get my hair cut here every month. Mostly for the experience as well as for a great cut. Salim is hilarious as he regales you with fun commentary. The Larkfield Shopping Center is also amazing. Bathrooms are super clean. Lots of great shops(see Blue Beagle Coffee and Molsberry Market)

First time here. I wanted to find a barber closer to work. Glad I came here. Walked in at 10:30 and no wait. He’s a nice guy, definitely knows how to cut men’s hair with his clippers and scissors. I had a perfect hair cut. Will return soon.

I’ve been shaving my head for years, but decided to grow my hair out again. My buddy Augie recommended this place. We went there today and I wasn’t disappointed — forgot how much I missed the barber shop experience. Everything else I’d say has already been said. Check it out if you’re looking for a great barber!

Good shop, good barber! Friendly and fast. This was my first time there and the price seems totally fair. I’ll go back. If it’s as good next time then its a five star joint. I think the name has changed to Larkfield Haircuts.

Best barber in Sonoma County. My Father goes there, I go there, and when I go, I usually bring my son so he can see how Men are expected to act. If your feeling chatty, then Celime will chat it up with you; if you feel like sitting quietly and enjoying a few moments of silence, Celime has no problem with that either.

As classic a barbershop as it gets. You walk in and take a seat, grab a magazine, then sit up in the chair when it’s your turn. Definitely a guy’s kind of place. The owner charges $ 17 for a haircut, he’s quick, polite, and keeps things running smooth. I’ve never been here and had to wait more than twenty minutes. In fact, I should probably stop by some time soon. :)

If you go to a lady place filled with lady gossip magazines and a lady who does pretty toenails, it’s time to go to a real barber. This place is a classic old school barber shop. Celime(pronounced Sell-eem) is a classic and highly skilled barber. He moves very quickly is very precise and he’s amazing to watch. Don’t make an appointment. Part of the charm of this place is to sit and wait your turn and talk with guys you don’t know about things that really matter at the time. I sat and waited for one guy ahead of me and it was less than 10 minutes. The time flew by as we all talked politics, the economy, etc. Located in the Larkfield Shopping Center, look for it on the north side(left) of Molsberry’s facing Old Redwood Highway. I went there on the recommendation of a friend. I wish I had known about Celime years ago. He instantly made me feel like I was an old friend. He currently charges $ 17 for a cut. With a $ 3 tip I’m good to go for another six weeks. Fantastic haircut, old school setting, and reasonable price.

This place is awesome. Your good old time barber in the Larkfield center. Celime is the best barber in SoCo if you ask me.
