Trina cut my hair and did a deep conditioning treatment and I love it!!!

Had the best deep conditioning and blow out from Trina Benavidez! She gave me tips on how to treat my own hair and I really appreciate her warmth. Definitely will return whenever I am back in town.

Amelia is so amazing. She always does beautiful work and I get a ton of compliments on my color. I highly recommend her!

I finally made a much needed hair stylist change after 10 years and am wondering why I didn’t do it sooner. After searching through Unilocal reviews, I decided on L Squared Salon. The reviews are great and it’s close to my home. Erica did such a fantastic job on my color AND cut correction. I was thrilled and relieved that she fixed my mess. I have now been a client for 4 months and couldn’t be happier.

My stylist was Erika! I thought she did an excellent job on my desired asymmetrical haircut. I especially loved that embraced my «natural» tight curls but gave a cut that would just as good if I decide to relax my hair in the future
She’s very gifted and detail– focused in her craft. I appreciate her willingness to be upfront and honest about not having had much practice with the texture of African American curls. I felt part of the whole process and I’m happy she could make a foundation from a photo reference but then build up a style of my very own.
I look forward to seeing her in my hair’s future!

I had seen Lisa Lows work before and needed a very last minute appt. She got me in with a day or so. She did a highlight for me. The color is amazing and flawless exactly what I had asked for. The salon is adorable and very clean. The entire staff including the receptionist and Lisa’s assistant we’re help and friendly. I highly recommend Lisa for all your hair needs! I’d give her 10 stars if I could.

My stylist was Erika and I thought she did a fantastic job on my hair. I went in for a partial highlight. I have dark brown (warm) hair and she was able to tone it and lift the color for (cool) highlights. I wasn’t in for too long and the price was reasonable. I will be going back for touch ups and maybe to get my brows lighten as well.

I would highly recommend Amelia! After looking around for a new stylist I did a lot of research on salons/​stylists and all the reviews were fabulous for Amelia. I completely understand why her reviews were so great.
I was wanting a change from my long/​heavy hair and she did a fabulous job styling it and making it look beautiful.
I have already received a ton of compliments on my hair and it’s only been two days. I look forward to going back to her for color/​cut in the future!

I have been here twice so far to see Nadalie. I live in San Jose, but visit my parents in Santa Rosa often. I was looking for a hair stylist since mine retired, and my mom recommended hers (Nadalie!). I could not be more pleased. I can’t think of going anywhere else since good hair stylists are hard to find. You really get the sense that she loves what she does and she really listens to what you want. Plus, the vibe in there is always upbeat. A bonus is you can walk next door to Russian River Brewing to grab a beer and show of your new style!

I don’t even know where to start! I came down from Washington to visit family and friends in Sacramento, decided to take a vacation to Santa Rosa — absolutely loved it. Enjoyed a delicious Pliny after a long day of hunting for a hair salon that wasn’t closed on Mondays. Walked down the street back to the car and smelled the wonderful scent of a hair salon. My eyes lit up, ears perked, and I quickly locked on to L Squared Beauty Salon. Apprehensive about even asking if they took walk ins and had an opening, this gorgeous lady said «of course! Give me 15 minutes!» My heart dropped! I was so happy! Nadalie greeted me like I had been an old friend she hadn’t seen in years. I haven’t been to a hair salon for YEARS. I’m talking like, since I was 13, I’m now 25. I’ve heard horror stories about people picking random salons and leaving with a nightmare of a «hair-​do». Color fades with washes… You can’t wash your butchered hair, longer. I went from a beach bum blonde with 2 inches of nasty grow out, to this gorgeous brown based, multi highlighted chestnut brown. She performed a small consult with me about color, which would work best with my skin, which was too drastic… etc. she was honest! I loved actually conversing with her about MY hair. She was so much fun, so spunky and bubbly! I wanted something unrealistic at that point in time and she steered me into a beautiful direction. Long story short, she corrected my fears quickly. I wish I could post a before and after picture! What a relieving experience! I commute 30 minutes to get my eyebrows done… I’ll definitely be commuting to have her touch up my hair from here on out :)) thanks so much Nadalie!

Today I received an amazing hair cut! I walked in without making an appointment and Nadalie was able to fit me into her busy schedule. We had a brief consultation about what I wanted and she offered me many good suggestions. It’s so refreshing to meet a stylist who can multitask and still offer 5 star service.

I’ve never had better hair and I’ve been coming here for the past two years. Every time I am more pleased than the last, which is exponentially better than when I come in. The prices are just right if not better than most for an absolute superb du! I’ve been living in SF and even the most expensive or most experienced salons really don’t hold a brush to my favorite– L Squared. I recently had orangish hair from my last die, which faded to the impractical color, but with Chrissy Shaw, she cut and highlighted my hair to a beautiful beachy blonde hair style that I absolutely love! It’s been three weeks and I have no signs of any unruly roots– thank the hair gods heavens no! So, I’ve been meaning to write this review for years and consider this one past due and a small gratitude of thank you!!! Shout out to my girl Monique as well for doing my hair beautifully and congratulations on your baby! Can’t wait for next time girls! Love you too Lisa Low! I am a previous stylist, that had my hair done by the same friend for 10 yrs and just moved across the country, I was def nervous about getting long overdue hair done! Did some research on Unilocal which led me to the L Squared Salon. Reviews were right on. Great salon, love the huge skylights! I chose Amelia (her reviews reminded me of how I would describe my previous stylist) and it was a great choice! Salon was well kept and nice ambiance. Amelia was right on time & super stylish! I got hi-​lites & cut & she managed my mass of hair extremely well. Very happy with everything and will def be returning!

Love this salon! Amelia Pepper has been cutting my hair for over a year, and I always look and feel amazing when I leave her chair. My teens have started seeing her as well, and she takes extra time to teach them how to style their own hair. Love!

I have been going to Lisa for my cut and color for several years. I have never been disappointed. She is a color EXPERT! They sell Bumble and Bumble which can be hard to find, so this is the place to go!
I work with the public and I see about 200 people a day. I often get compliments on my hair and have had people take pictures of my hair to show their stylist.
The salon is clean and comfortable, cookies and coffee and just the right smutty magazines to entertain you. Conveniently located downtown with shops and restaurants nearby. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been going to Amelia for a couple years and she is the best! Her hair cuts are amazing, and her color is just as great! I needed a pretty bad color correction (decided to dye my own hair, ugh) and let her know that I was trying to go back to my natural color. She couldn’t have done a better job! Not only did it look great from the get-​go, it gradually faded into the perfect summer shade as July rolled around to match my natural highlights! Great blow-​outs and styling as well, and you can’t forget about her amazing shampoos!
If you are looking to get your make up done as well, there is no one more talented in this area. She is creative, fun and full of knowledge!
She is a sweetheart and holds great conversations. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Amelia for any of your hair and make up needs!

I used to get my hair cut here around 5 years ago and always loved the job they did. What I didn’t love was how expensive it was. But you get what you pay for!
I started going to the beauty college and realized that my hair was flat and I would end up with a whole day being wasted at the beauty college to get a okay haircut.
Today I went and got my hair cut by Jenifer and she did such a great job! She indivually cut my spilt ends off and even gave me a mini massage while washing my hair. My hair was blow dried perfectly and all this was done in an hour and half (thats really great compared to the beauty college when a simple trim took 3 hours…)
If you have around 60 dollars to spend on a hair cut I highly recommend going here!
