Super great people and very friendly and helpful. I am taking the Cardio kickboxing classes and let me tell you it is such a rewarding workout! You will work up a sweat and your heart will be pounding! Drop by and check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a great school and top-​notch facility. The instructors are amazing with the kids, teaching them respect, discipline, and most importantly self-​esteem and self-​worth. Character development is also a goal here as well as respect for all, which is prevalent in the anti-​bully mentality of the school. Great self-​defense Kenpo classes will make you leave classes sweating!
I as well as a few of my friends are in the cardio class and we absolutely love it! Over all the best school I have found.

My son Kieran is currently going through his yellow belt training at Kenpo Northbay. It’s amazing to see how far he come over the last six weeks. The facility is great and al of the instructors are first class. They are especially amazing with children.
At first, I didn’t think my wife would want him enrolled in any type of martial arts training (as he is 5 years old), but when observing a Saturday kids class, she was amazed at how well Miss French taught the art while making it a fun activity that reinforced the moves in really interesting ways. My wife was instantly and we enrolled him that following Monday.
All the instructors are amazing, actually. It’s a very positive atmosphere that teaches the art but also instills respect (to the teachers and parents), builds confidence, encourages exercise and a little fun for all. I have since encouraged other parents to involve their kids as its a great way to spend 30 minutes twice a week. It’s very cost effective too. The first month was very cheap considering you get your outfit, crotch guard and yellow belt application all included.
We also film the sessions as you do need to study for the next class, but Kieran loves the training and feels good when he gets a stripe on his belt or a star for his hard effort. No child is treated special as all of them work hard and you can see improvement even in the most distracted of children.
I’m even considering starting myself as the class is for kids and adults. The school is very accomplished at the competitive level also… and has won a lot of trophies. The adults classes are all business
So…if you are curious and want a great physical and mental outlet for your kids, please consider giving it a try. You won’t regret it.

Need a confidence booster? This place will help! Not only do the workouts leave you feeling great physically, but the knowledge base and camaraderie will give you a better outlook on life. With the new year coming and all the stress (and extra lbs) it brings, why not give yourself an outlet to get rid of it, while having fun, and learning how to protect yourself? I have been a part of this school since day 1, almost 3 years now, and it wasn’t until I started that I realized how much I truly needed it in my life. If you care about yourself or the well being of someone else, you should definitely come in and check out what there is to offer.

Great way to squeeze a workout into a busy week! Kenpo cardio is different every week so I never know what to expect when I go. Makes me feel fit and ready to start my day! Amazing instructors and a wonderful friendly environment!

My son loves this place! All of the instructors are so amazing with all the kids there. My son has learned many great things beyond just Kenpo. He is on his way to be an amazing respectful adult thanks to the teachings and structure of this school. I would highly recommend them to anyone (any age!) to try them out!

I love being a part of this school. Have been here for 2 ½ years and enjoy how I am challenged to go beyond what I thought I was ever capable of. Love all of the instructors and my fellow students!
