His & Hers Landscape

Tony and Catherine came off as a really nice couple who knew their plants. His enthusiasm for our project is what won me over and we hired them to do our front yard. They assured us things were going to look amazing with lush plantings.
As the other reviewer stated they didn’t show up on the day they said they would and there was no phone call explaining why. After several days of waiting I finally got a hold of them only to be told it would take another week or so before they could make it out. Keep in mind we already had paid a «deposit» for supplies. Tony finally make it out and worked diligently to clean up the yard and install the landscaping we agreed upon. Tony was suppose to return and fix one of the sprinkler heads but once we paid them the final installment, we never heard from them again.
Fast forward several months and many of the plants have died, despite the revamped sprinklers etc. One plant was placed in an area that isn’t good for it as it requires less sun and it gets fried on a regular basis during the summer months. This signifies to me that they really didn’t know what they were talking about. I haven’t even tried to contact them because when I followed up with them to do maintenance he didn’t know who I was and I had to remind him of them redoing our front yard. He said he’d talk to Catherine and get back to me. This must have been code for «You’ll never hear from me again» because he never got back to me about it. Which, I’m actually thankful for.
And in the off chance they ever read this, we really liked you guys but you totally messed up. You also left your little traffic cones and we threw them away. It felt good considering the dead plants you left us with.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They are dishonest and unprofessional. They bid a large project redoing my backyard and asked for a very large amount of money. They did not show up on the first day nor did they call. After I called and texted several times they called and said they couldn’t start for another week or two. This was the pattern for several months, they would show up for a few days and then dissappear with no word. They eventually just quit coming and removed their tools leaving the job half completed and keeping the money for the supplies that they never bought. Can not get a hold of them and need to hire someone to complete the job. I am filing charges with the state board and taking them to court to try to get some of the money back. BEWARE. i WOULD HAVE GIVEN NO STARS BUT Unilocal MADE ME GIVE AT LEAST ONE.
