I needed a basic electric range for a rental, and was recommended to Don’s by another dealer, Doug from up the street, who told me that Don had a bigger selection than he had. Doug told me that Don should have what I needed. He was right! Don was friendly and helpful, AND I ended up buying an awesome range at a great price, and a warranty! I will definitely give Don my business next time I am in the market for a used appliance.

I had a washer and dryer that I wanted to donate so I called these guys. And I asked them if they could be so kind as to hook up my new set that my sister inlaw gave me. I had to call a couple of times to get the ball rolling but they did show up on time. They were nice. BUTNOT scary It was Don Jr and his helper(dont know his name) Perfect gentlemen. So Don Jr says he does repairs. And there was a piece of wire on front of my new set that needed to be replaced. So he takes the old one with him and says I will bring back another one and fix this for you. I said okay I will pay you. So I hand him a tip and they go on their way He didnt get back to my place till 840pm! I was so tired by then by I got to have it fixed. Then he says«Ill only charge you for half hour $ 40» WHAT? I donate my working washer and dryer to you, pay you tip and intend to get you some money but not 40 dollars for 5 minutes of work! So I write the check and think… I wont call you for repairs anymore. You guys were awesome up to that point of 40.00 … since I am sure you will make a profit on the washer and dryer that I GAVEYOUFORFREE. So I deducted a star for the greed. As far as scary??? noooo way. I could have taken either one down. But the dad sounds a little rough with his deep voice on the phone but a perfect gentleman. Not scary at all. Just greedy.

UPDATE: I didn’t think things could get any worse with this dealer, but they have. We called Frigidaire, since Don had sworn up and down the unit was«brand new» and given us the«warranty» card to send in. Because Don keeps refusing to let us «make an appt.» which he requires to return something on warranty, we called Frigidaire. Oh wow. The unit is over two years old, they said, and it’s «original owner» who purchased it from Loewe’s in Cotati, already had it replaced it on warranty, years ago. Don bought it from them as «scrap,» then resold it as new. There IS no manufacturer’s warranty anymore, even though we bought it «new» a month ago. Don is a liar and a FRAUD. We were also told it is «not possible» to repair it as it is an «enclosed unit.» BEWARETHISUNSCRUPULOUSDEALER!!!

I called this establishment to schedule an appliance repair for a tenant of mine with a problematic refrigerator. An older sounding man answered the phone who was very gruff over the phone. Every time I tried to speak he shushed me, saying he was with a customer. Finally, after many interruptions, I scheduled an appointment; but when I indicated I would be paying with a credit card, he said he didn’t like to take credit cards over the phone and would only accept a check. At that point I said I was going to call someone else, which I did. The next day I was surprised when his son called to say he was ready to go the tenant’s house. He said that they would accept a credit card. A part was ordered, the repair completed with a reasonable charge. The son was very pleasant to deal with. But, when the father called to take the CC number, he was so rude, complaining about how it costs him so much more to submit a credit card. He was so disagreeable he made me feel like I had ripped him off instead of giving him my service business. I ended the call by hanging up on him. I will never call them again for anything.

This was actually a scary experience. Thank God I had my husband there. When my husband called Don was incredibly rude. My husband asked«Are you open?» His response was he wouldn’t have answered the phone if he wasn’t open. We said we would be there in 10 minutes and he said we had to make an appointment and wait 45 minutes. We decided to go anyways since we were looking for a used gas stove and he said he had over70. You arrive at a broken down building in a bad area surrounded by high fence. He was inside his truck and yells out«just wait a couple of minutes». OK — we wait. Eventually, after lighting his cigarette he comes over and unlocks the gate. We go inside a nasty warehouse. There were broken down appliances piled up everywhere, a motorhome and car that looked stolen. My husband stepped in dog poop right in front of the refrigerators. Don looks over when he saw what happened and said«Watch out for the dog sh*t» in a smug voice. The appliances were nasty. For the newer ones he was only asking $ 100 less than what they were asking at Best Buy new. We were looking for a white gas stove. I think there were 2 in condition to sell. Do not waste your time going here. It was awful and dangerous. Another man pulled up in a truck outside the fence and Don was just as rude to him and his little girl. Dogs barked at us the entire time we were there.
