Dennett Tile & Stone

Dennett Tile is AMAZING! They did a spectacular job fabricating & installing granite in my kitchen & bathrooms. Their showroom is like nothing I’ve seen before & they are so friendly & helpful! They also did my Dad’s bathrooms (complete remodels) & he was also very happy with their work! A++++

We went to Dennett this morning looking for kitchen backsplash tile. We had already found some elsewhere but wanted to check for alternatives before making the purchase. The young man who «helped» us admitted he was new. Apparently he wasn’t given much training, and didn’t have someone shadowing him until he got up to speed. So the answer to every question was «I’ll have to check.» Do you have dark gray subway tile? «Let me check.» What’s the price per square foot? «I’ll have to look it up.» Is this tile porcelain or ceramic? «I’m not sure.»
I don’t blame him, but we left and we won’t be back. They’re selling a product, sure, but mostly they’re selling a service: design expertise. Putting an inexperienced person on the floor to fend for himself isn’t helpful to anyone. We went back and bought the tile we’d seen before and are really pleased with the service we got there.

I had the best experience with some of the most professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I was originally looking for a granite countertop for my kitchen. As soon as I walked into their showroom, I was greeted with genuine friendliness and courtesy. There was absolutely no high pressure, and the staff took a sincere interest in my needs. They made helpful suggestions that would complement my existing backsplash and kitchen cabinets. I decided on a quartz countertop that fit perfectly with my kitchen. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to all of them. The staff at Dennett Tile and Stone are true professionals who maintain a very high degree of integrity, credibility, reasonable prices, and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them.

Called and was blown off by the receptionist … we don’t do repairs and I can’t refer you to anyone. So much for friendly «customer» service.

Had to have problems with another, smaller granite and slab company to really appreciate Dennett’s. They saved us! I would recommend them to anyone for great selection, professional and knowledgeable staff. Fair pricing and top notch workmanship.

I must say this place is great. I was not sure what I was going for but thanks to Dennett tile I am so proud to show off my bathroom. The staff is knowledgable and very helpful. The customer service was fantastic.
So much easier than my previous projects! I’d done a kitchen remodel years ago with a different company and found myself wandering different warehouses, having no clue what was in my budget or what grout color went with what. Dennett Tile is a one stop shop and made my bathroom remodel extremely easy.

I read the reviews for Dennett Tile & Stone which appeared to be mixed; but I had heard such great things about them, so I decided to see for myself. I had just a small bathroom I needed to remodel and the ladies in the showroom were very helpful in picking out tile and a remnant piece of granite for my countertops. I asked lots of questions so I knew it would take at least a week to get a bid for my project. They also informed me that installation would be approximately 2 weeks from the date the deposit was made. All of this proved to be accurate for me. I didn’t feel that my job was too small for them to work on either. They were prompt with the installation and the job turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend Dennett Tile and Stone!

Dennett tile really knows granite. They have a great variety of different choices and the machinery they use is amazing. They are very easy to work with and all the pieces fit as they described. Thanks so much to the Dennett Team.

Dennett Tile tore out my existing tile and carpet and installed new subfloors and tile in my kitchen, dining room, guest bath, laundry and hallway. Most excellent job! I couldn’t be happier! Showroom has a huge selection to choose from. Showroom staff were very helpful and patiently answered all my questions and concerns and they were very prompt in responding to my emails. The crew that came to my house were all very nice, hard workers and the tile guy was beyond detail oriented. Bottom line… This company was great to work with from the beginning to the end of my job!

The staff is friendly enough. Don’t come here if you have a small project. They can’t be bothered with a quick estimate for a bath vanity, no splash… over a week to get a call back. and then the price. The highest in the area. I know I can’t say where I finally
took my business, but let’s just say it’s on the west side of the highway and was the
best deal around. Exactly 40% less $, and a huge selection of remnants

Dennett Tile has done all the tile and granite installation at my office and home. I went into there BIG show room and selected the tile and granite and they were installing it within a couple days. Every morning their crew showed up on time and were very professional. The end result was A+ job. I would highly recommend Dennett for your tile or granite needs.

I used Dennett Tile and Stone for my «Carribean» bathroom addition which turned out lovely, so when I decided to remodel our smaller bathroom I went straight back to the people I trust. I brought my ideas and theme of «Seaglass» to one of Dennette Tile’s design personel and she helped me to quickly put together exactly what my vision was. I have a small home but that doesn’t mean it has to be small on looks! Everyone that has looked at the new bathroom has commented on how it has that feel of being in Maine and on vacation at the ocean. My husband and I are totally pleased with the quality of work, expertise and knowledge offered at Dennette Tile.

Well. Where to start on this review? If I wrote this 2 weeks ago it would of started as a 4.5−5 star review. Now it’s a 2 star review and my business being taken elsewhere.
I was ecstatic to start working with Dennett to do my master bath shower remodel. The moment I walked in Terri helped me right away and was beyond friendly. She helped me find the perfect tile for my project, of which I’m not experienced in a shower remodel by any means. I had an idea of the look and design but nothing about what kind of tile or accents etc that I wanted. She scheduled an estimator, James, to come and give us an estimate for them to do the labor install/​demo of the old shower and new shower. James was great and helped us visualize what we wanted. Their prices were pretty reasonable. A week later I found a different design I wanted and he quickly emailed out a new estimate with the updated prices.
Well a week goes by and I went in to do an small update and begin ordering and starting the process of officially working with Dennett and that is where things started to fall.
Well James had left the company so a new estimator had to take over. We stopped in on a Wed and was told that they will have to find our file and figure out who our new estimator is and get back to me, hopefully by Fri. The weekend came and went and nothing. So I called them around 2 Monday afternoon. A new lady I hadn’t dealt with answered the phone and she said they still don’t know who has my file and she will send an email out to everybody in hopes of the one with my file to call me. Tuesday came and nothing. By Wednesday still nothing so I stopped by in person to figure out who and what had my file. I was told that they still don’t know but we will get back to you this afternoon. I got an email from a Rod Taylor, the new estimator! Yay, right? NO! The price was suddenly almost $ 1,000 higher. I called Dennett right away and was told he left the office for the day but would transfer me to his cell in hopes he would answer. Well he did… I began to ask questions and he interrupted me and told me to ‘Shut up so I can talk and say what I need to say’. Needless to say that just tipped me off. To interrupt me and to say it that way us NO customer service. He continued to ask even who I was and had no idea even after I told him he just emailed me less than 5 minutes ago. He proceeded to say that he didn’t have my file in front of him (understandable as he just left the office) and he would call me back the following day. We disconnected, and I very upset being spoken to that way, and called the office back and explained the way I was just treated and would be happy to have a whole new estimator. The 2 people I spoke to on the phone told me ‘It’s no excuse and doesn’t help but we have had many complaints about him and he treats us the same way too.’ Well I never got a follow up call. It’s been a week and a half now and no contact from ANYBODY, wouldn’t you want the business?!
So I went to Bedrosians and was treated wonderfully and their prices are even better too! I cannot express the great customer service there and the way thing should be. Sadly, they even knew of Rod and his attitude and issues. Such a problem that so many know of yet it’s gone on for so long. I am totally fine not stepping into Dennett to finish my project or any future projects.

My best friend just built a new home. His granite tops and tile were purchased and installed by this company. The results were fabulous. This company is highly recommended and gets the job done right and on time.

Dennett Tile and Stone is the best Tile and Stone company I have ever worked with. They not only provide excellent service, but they offered me competitive pricing and they completed my job when they said it would be completed. I would recommend them to anybody!

We are so pleased with the quality of work and professionalism that Dennett Tile provided to us during our recent bathroom remodel. They made the process so easy and were wonderful at offering suggestions that would be best for our needs and budget. One day after we got our beautiful vanity top home (while it was in the garage awaiting installation), my nephew accidentally broke a piece off. I contacted Dennett Tile and they immediately sent someone to my home to fix it, and made it as good as new. I cannot say enough about this place. I happened to find them in the Diamond Certified booklet. My husband shopped around for prices at various businesses, and this company beat out everyone in both prices and quality. Three of our friends have used them since I referred them for both tile and granite remodels, and have also had great experiences. It’s one stop shopping — which I very much appreciate after a previous experience where I found myself driving around the East Bay doing all the leg work myself. Their showroom is absolutely incredible as well, and gave us tons of ideas. Will absolutely use them again!
