Big River Coffee Co Espresso Stop

Legitimately one of the best coffee spots I’ve ever been to. The customer service was great, everyone behind the counter was kind and very engaging. The coffee was very good and the ambiance was also nice. I needed to do some work so the nice chairs made it comfortable and the R&B played was on point. If you live in Santa Rosa, this should be your spot.

I’m not a coffee fan in general, but their chai latte was fantastic! The atmosphere was great, with comfy chairs, cute tables, and a sitting area that is separated from where they actually make the coffee. The staff was great too. They are located in a very industrial area, but don’t be scared away!

Bring a friend! — so you can share the Black Bean breakfast burrito and the Hangover bagel sandwich. Shoot — or just get them both for yourself!

Nice staff, good coffee with some sugar, good food, nice atmosphere. All around a good experience while trying to kill a few hours out in this neck of the woods. Thousand times better than any Starbucks or Peets.

Came in on a Friday morning around 9:30am, the place was decently filled. The staff was happy and were talkative towards customers. Different than I would be at work at this hour haha. Everything was clean and well put together. Lots of space for sitting. This was my first visit to this place and I really enjoyed it! It’s kind of tucked deeper into the industrial district but with the find. Too bad it’s not anywhere near to where I live! but if I’m in the area I’ll definitely be coming back here!

Super sweet staff. Since we were from out of town one of the baristas made some recommendation s for us that were so appreciated. That’s the reason for the five stars. Espresso wasn’t from an origin I prefer, but I’m picky.

Hit the Cokas Diko sale right down the street, was in a rush to grab something to eat. The lady at Cokas Diko recommended BRC. Didn’t expect much … so pleasantly surprised. staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating … the salad was super fresh and I got a coffee … yum!

24 Hour Fitness is close by, I go there every day. The service, coffee quality, etc. are excellent. Plenty of parking and large room for meetings is a bonus.

Great service, lovely staff, and a positive environment! Nothing like local business bringing high quality & passion back to the business game! Take that Starbucks. More like Star-​yucks! Try to catch Lily if you can. Great gal and really does get best to make sure you leave BRCC with a smile and great coffee!

Absolutely love their coffee! So much better than Starbucks and they are located right down the street from my work. The staff is always helpful and happy. Only downside is that they are not open on the weekends. Otherwise, they are my daily stop in the mornings!

Best Coffee Shop in Sonoma Co. I just discovered this place and it’s my new favorite «go to» for coffee and pastries. The staff is friendly and helpful and before you decide what type of coffee to purchase your bag to go, you are offered a taste of each to help with your decision. They roast their own and have about 30 varieties from decaf to exotics. I like the laid back atmosphere and cheerful, welcoming attitude of the owners. Pastries are reasonably priced and the food is great. Definately as good as it gets!!!

Really, the best coffee in Santa Rosa. I bought their coffee at the grocery store and loved it. Then I found that they had a store and have been buying my coffee from them ever since. Staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and cheerful. I haven’t tried the food but it looks good.

I was running behind schedule and missed lunch so stopped by to see if they had something in that line — the sandwich they made was delicious and wholesome, and artfully presented too. I’ll be back to try the coffee/​pastries another time.

I discovered BRC at the grocery store and feel in love with the coffee. After purchasing many bags from the store I decided that I needed to purchase directly. A quick search showed me that they have a local coffee shop.
My boyfriend and I showed up at 2:00pm as they were closing, on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I dashed in hopes to beg to buy a couple of bags and a fresh cup. No begging required as my request was met with of an of course and what would you like.
I ordered a Vanilla Latte, the best latte I have had in a while. It was perfect not over sweet or bitter taste to it, we also got a soy latte. I am not a fan of soy in my coffee but this was just right. I was surprised how yummy it really was.
I grabbed a couple of bags of the shelf and the nice lady informed me that I would get a better deal if we purchased bags from bulk.
We will return to try out a local pastry with their delish coffee very soon. Don’t miss out on this local gem. The price we paid for 2 coffee drinks and 2 pounds of coffee was less than $ 30.

Some of the most fantastic coffee in Sonoma County!

We’ve made multiple trips to the state of California. Never have we ever had decent coffee until discovering Big River Coffee Co in Santa Rosa. We’re wishing they were local… We roast our own beans and make our own espresso drinks at home, so we are EXTREMELY picky about coffee. We went to Big River the two days that we could. Both days, our drinks were perfectly prepared (including hubby’s DRY cappuccino) and the coffee flavor was fantastic. If you live or travel to the Santa Rosa area, you MUST grab coffee at Big River. Oh, they also have breakfast food and sandwiches too (we didn’t try! The only negative is they aren’t open on Sat or Sun.

We came in the other day to get some coffee. First of all, amazing staff, the girl behind the counter really knew a lot about what she was serving. She let us taste everything they had made before making our decision.
and *my heart skips a beat, and they are totally scoring an extra star for this nifty touch* they have coffee flavored ice cubes. I asked for a couple of cubes so my coffee wouldn’t be volcanically hot as I’m too impatinet to wait for the coffee to cool a little before diving in. They are made with decaf so they only have to make one batch, but how awesome is it, that if you order an iced drink, that your cubes don’t water down your beverage when they melt?
We bought several pounds of coffee besides the cups of joe that we sat and drank.
This is a favorite little spot, although a little out of the way in my normal travels. A must when I come up to go to bottle barn!
