Bella Luna Mountaintop Retreat

I took my partner up to the cottage as a Valentine’s weekend surprise, there were many aspects with I felt appealing; the romance of the cottage, the jacuzzi, the bridge, stargazer, and coziness of it all!
With the helpful directions provided prior to our trip we found the cottage fine, it’s about a 10 – 15 minute drive up the hill from the nearest main road, and upon arriving couldn’t quite believe the beauty and remoteness of the location.
The cottage itself was intimate, clean, and everything promised in the photos and description matched reality and more. The location was so quiet and the walk to the stargazer left us wondering if we were even going in the right direction. It’s the perfect place to relax and connect. One thing to note: while the kitchen is well equipped with various utensils, pans etc, if you plan on cooking make sure to bring your own oils, spices etc.
At one point I wondered aloud if the DVD collection contained Sleepless in Seattle… it did! But the box was empty! In that moment we wondered aloud to each other if the previous guest had left the DVD in the TV. We had to check! The stay had been so relaxing and enjoyable, we knew our fortunes wouldn’t falter, and drifted off to sleep to the sounds of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
